Our Unique Approach

For nearly a decade, we’ve honed our approach to helping kids become healthy, curious, capable learners.

Nature at the core. Outdoors is the classroom. Creatures are our teachers. Mud and sticks are our tools, and every lesson deepens kids’ connection to nature.

Irresistible invitations to play. Each lesson is engineered as an invitation to play that kids simply can’t refuse!

Open-ended, child-led. Kids learn best when they lead the way. Plus, we help grown-ups support their child’s unique process.

Part science, part wisdom. Every lesson combines early learning science with timeless wisdom about nature and childhood. It’s a magic combination.

16 new albums in February

There will be many high-profile and interesting releases in the second month of 2023. We will hear new music from Gorillaz, Paramore, Tiesto, Stray Kids, Pink, as well as solo albums from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Radiohead. Also new items will be released by Yung Lean, Logic, Caroline Polachek and Orbital. Bonus – the debut album of the “most hated singer” in 2011, Rebecca Black, who has now finally rid herself of the curse of the “Friday” meme.

February 3

Jonathan Leander is the real name of the Swedish rapper Yung Lean, whose song “Ginseng Strip 20022” became the biggest TikTok hit of 2022. The tracks he records under his real name are different from his usual style: it is closer to pop music than to hip-hop. Leander recorded “Sugar World” with Frederic Valentin, a Danish producer and member of the rock band Rock Hard Power Spray.

February 3

British singer-songwriter Raye’s voice is familiar to dance music lovers from Jonas Blue’s “By Your Side” and Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me”. However, at the beginning of 2023, she also had her own hit – the song “Escapism” topped the British chart. Raye is now finally releasing their debut album, My 21st Century Blues. According to her, the material turned out to be quite bold in terms of sound, and she is very proud of the record.

February 3

Shania Twain is the queen of country pop, whose 1997 album Come On Over is one of the best-selling albums of all time. Now the singer feels better than ever, and this is reflected in her new music. She hopes that “Queen of Me” will remind her listeners of the great female power. The album features Twenty One Pilots frontman Tyler Joseph and British singer Jack Savoretti.

February 3

John Frusciante is the guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but he loves electronic music almost more than rock. “I and II” is a double electronic album where all the tracks were recorded live without any overdubs. Frusciante’s material was inspired by experimental artists such as Oren Ambarchi, Clara Lewis and Ryoji Ikeda, as well as John Lennon, David Bowie and Brian Eno.

February 9

In 2011, there was no person more hated than Rebecca Black. Her video “Friday” received notoriety as the worst song in the world – a 13-year-old girl was even threatened with murder. However, the singer emerged victorious from the game: she continued to do what she loved and gradually even critics recognized her talent. Black is now releasing her debut album, where she explores how she perceives herself.

February 10

Contrary to gossip, Paramore did not break up, but only went on a long six-year hiatus. Now the musicians present an album inspired by the anxiety of the pandemic and the work of Bloc Party, the cult indie dance group of the 2000s. This Is Why is also Paramore’s final album on the Atlantic label: in an interview with Billboard, the band hinted at a new “surreal” chapter in their creative journey.

February 14

Former Chairlift vocalist and big indie star Caroline Polachek promised a “maximalist” album with a variety of sounds. She also experimented a lot in the songs themselves on “Desire, I Want to Turn Into You”: some of them have a non-standard “flow” structure, without verses and choruses. One of the producers of the material was David Nigro, responsible for “Sour” by Olivia Rodrigo. And the composition “Fly to You” features the voices of Grimes and Dido.

February 17

“Cuts & Bruises” is the second album by the Irish rock band Inhaler, fronted by Elijah Hewson, son of U2’s Bono. Inhaler are already in serious competition with U2, with their debut LP It Won’t Always Be Like This (2021) topping the UK charts and setting a record for vinyl sales.

February 17

Cult electronic duo Orbital presents their first album in three years. “Optical Delusion” will feature collaborations with artists ranging from punk Sleaford Mods to folk band Mediaeval Baebes. It will also feature new versions of classic Orbital songs, including “Chime”, “Halcyon” and “Belfast”. The musicians will also release an instrumental version of the disc – for those who don’t like vocals.

February 17

The recording of the album “Trustfall” took place during the pandemic, which became a difficult period for the singer. Pink and her children survived the coronavirus, and in 2021 her father passed away from cancer. As the singer admitted, “Trustfall” turned out to be deeply personal and honest. She perceives the album as part of herself and is proud of it. Folk duo First Aid Kit and country star Chris Stapleton were rumored to be guest artists.

February 22

“The Sound” is the first Japanese album by Stray Kids and the third in the total discography. The musicians have prepared ten tracks: four Japanese versions of already known songs and six new original compositions. Most of the Stray Kids’ material was written and produced by themselves. It looks like “The Sound” will be successful: all tickets for the band’s Japanese shows, including additional ones, sold out instantly.

February 24

Former Queen guest vocalist and American Idol star Adam Lambert’s fifth album is made up of cover versions. Unlike many artists, Lambert takes his rehashing seriously and tries his best “turn songs 180 degrees” , seeing this as an interesting creative challenge. On High Drama, the singer took on hits from Duran Duran, Kings of Leon, Sia, Bonnie Tyler and even Billy Eilish.

February 24

Like all Gorillaz releases, Cracker Island promises to be a smart and stylistically diverse album. Just look at the guest musicians: here is the star Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, and Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac, and Beck from Tame Impala. Band member Jamie Hewlett described Cracker Island as profound and narrative.0075 “an epic story with characters and music” .

February 24

“College Park” is the ninth record of rapper Logic and at the same time his first release as an independent artist. He loves music and hip-hop, but his work with the major label Def Jam disappointed him. Now Logic has founded his own label, BobbyBoy Records, which will release the new album.
