Covid-19 Update 2021
As things begin to feel as they are going back to normal our daycare in Palmdale continue to take measures in making sure our kids stay safe and healthy. This will be a continuous effort until we can be assured that the spread of Covid-19 is no longer at a dangerous level.
Summer time is always a fun time at daycare for our kids. Unfortunately, many places we take our kids on field trips remain closed. So this year we will make the best out of it and keep our kids happy and entertained at daycare by doing daily activities and events.
Daycares in Palmdale are feeling like we are right now, nervous. It looks like things are going back to normal, still if you have symptoms stay home.
We cannot assure you that we will not catch the coronavirus, it can also be said that we cannot be sure if you might contract it and bring it to daycare; so sorry, but it’s true. Our duty right now is to limit exposure by taking drastic measures.
Currently here are the stats of the spread of Covid-19 as of March 22, 2020. READ MORE NOW

Ms. Monique’s tips to finding the Right Daycare
A daunting task for every parent, the moment you realize you need to find a daycare for your precious children. It’s stressful, time consuming, and sometimes urgent; taking away time to check out multiple daycares in the area.
First things first, If you’re looking for a daycare in Palmdale, or asking yourself “I wonder where I can find the best daycare near me”, then you need to start by doing research.
Start by asking questions
Great way to start your task of finding the right daycare is by asking your friends, family, and co-workers if they have any recommendations. After, best place to start is Google and Facebook. Just type in your search and you’ll see a list of daycares in palmdale or any city you’re in.
Questions to ask
As parents your main concern are your children and it is never wrong to ask to many questions. As providers we encourage you to ask as many questions as you would like. By asking questions you are making sure which environment is right for your children. You might be asking yourselves which Daycares in Palmdale or daycare in general are right for me and my family.
- Some questions you might ask may be:
- Is the center or in home daycare licensed by the state?
- How many kids is each caregiver responsible for?
- How do they discipline the children?
- What is their emergency plan?
- Is the staff trained in CPR and first aid?
- How experienced is the staff with children?
- Can you visit your children at any time?
- How does the staff communicate with the parents?
- What do they feed the children?
- Are they sponsored by USDA (United States department of agriculture) food programs
Trial Period
This is a good thing for children starting a daycare. After searching for daycares in palmdale or any other city and select one, you as a parent should let them know that you’re interested in a trial period when signing up. Daycares use trial periods to observe if a child is adapting well into their new environment. Sometimes just because you think it’s a good daycare doesn’t mean your child will feel the same. I’m not saying the daycare is bad, but maybe there are certain factors that are not setting well with your child; one common issue is size of daycare, some kids thrive better in smaller daycares and vice versa.
Do not feel bad if your childcare provider tells you that perhaps it’s better if you search for another daycare within the trial period. Ask why and if they can give you any recommendations. Don’t see this as an insult or anything negative, instead be happy that the daycare was open with you, and cared more about your child than a paycheck.
“A child’s’ happiness and ability to adapt in a new environment is more important than anything”
What to look for in a daycare
What should you look for in a daycare? Parents always want the best for their children. There are many daycares in Palmdale but in order to find the best daycare for your children and be able to feel comfortable with your new provider, you have to look for certain details.
THINGS TO LOOK FOR:
- Is your child drawn towards the daycare provider? Does your child express positive feelings about the daycare provider?
- How does the staff interact with the children? Are they kind and considerate towards them?
- Is there plenty of playtime or activities for your child/children to participate in.
- Is the facility clean and safe?
- Does the center have an outside area where the children could play?
- Are foods and beverages provided throughout the day?
- Do the children look happy and engaged in activities?
- Do the children look dirty and not taken care of?
Personally, I love the children in my daycare in Palmdale. I started Kid’s `N Colors Daycare because I volunteered at other local daycares in Palmdale when I was a teenager, and noticed that children had a special connection with me.
It amazed me to see kids at daycares I would volunteer for follow me around, gravitate towards me when looking to be reassured.
This became important to me when I stated my daycare, and later as I realized having great relationships with my children not only made my job more exciting, but was a huge benefit for my kids’ development. The Center of the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning conducted a research project focusing on teacher-child relationships, and concluded that children who have a good relationship with their teachers or childcare providers are influenced positively in their social and emotional development, and good peer interaction. more here.
This is why it is important to notice the relationship your child has with your daycare provider, as it can have a future developmental impact on your child.
Meet your needs.
When you’re trying to find the right daycare in Palmdale, you have to know what you want. Where do you want the daycare to be located? Do you want an in home daycare or a large center? Do you want it to be closer to your home or work? These are all things to consider and there is really no right or wrong answer, it all depends on what works for you as far as convenience and comfort level of the selected daycare.

90,000 performer of the role of Ida Nudel in the play “Gabima”: such people defeat Totalitari

at the Gabima National Theater took place premiere of the play “Ida” about Ida Nudel – a well-known fighter for the rights of Soviet Jews, a refusenik, a Jewish activist. Prisoner of Zion Ida Nudel was one of those who, at the risk of their own freedom and life, fought against the Iron Curtain. The premiere of the performance, the theme of which – the struggle against the regime – again turned out to be relevant, took place a year after the death of the heroine. One of the performers of the role of Ida (“Ida Nudel in the past”), actress Riki Blich, specially for Vesti, gave an interview to Alex Reef, a poetess, chairman of the Million Lobby public organization and founder of the Tarbutit Brigade (Cultural Brigade) and ” Veteran”. In the conversation, the topics of repatriation, the Soviet past and self-identification of young people who came to Israel as children were raised.
– Ricky, tell us what this role means to you, the image of Ida Nudel, Prisoner of Zion. You are a native of Israel, it would seem that this story has nothing to do with you.
– Although I was born in Israel, my childhood was not like that of other Sabra children. Childhood depends on the family. And largely thanks to my family, I immediately felt that this role was very close to the history of my family: my uncle was denied repatriation to Israel, and my parents were still fresh immigrants at the time of my birth. They met already in Israel. I was born two years after their Aliyah. Until the age of three, I spoke only Russian at home. Then I was enrolled in a religious kindergarten – that’s how I learned Hebrew. For many years I lived with the feeling that I came to Israel at the age of 3.
By the way, not only my uncle was a refusenik, but also my mother. They didn’t really want to talk about it. The names of Ida Nudel and the Sharan house were not mentioned.
– Did you feel “Russian”?
– Only when I was sent to a religious kindergarten did I catch the difference between me and other children. Then my own family began to lead a religious lifestyle. For her, this was new, because in the Soviet Union they had no connection with religion. But parents were drawn to the spiritual, to Judaism.

– How did you get approached when looking for an actress for the role of Ida Nudel?
– I am a full-time actress of the Habima Theatre, so it was quite logical, although, I will not hide, there was another contender for this role. But I immediately realized that this role suits me perfectly: if I were Ida Nudel, I would also fight for justice, it is in my blood, in my character. So when I was eventually asked to play her role, I immediately felt that this was mine.
I have great respect for people who fight for rights, for justice, I respect idealists. Ida Nudel devoted herself and all her time to the fight against the totalitarian regime. At the same time, she knew how to devote time to each person, a separate individual. She had the character traits of the kind of person I identify with – stubbornness, struggle, loyalty to her mission, no matter what.
– But her fate was tragic…
– Yes, her fate is tragic – but this is the price paid by those who fully devote themselves to their destiny and are not ready to turn off the path. The price of this is also the loneliness in which Ida was.
I am honored to play her role. Before going on stage, I even try to talk to her spirit…

– I am also the daughter of repatriates, when my family repatriated I was 5 years old. To this day, I feel that I am not a native Israeli, but a representative of the “one and a half generation” who came to Israel as children. For many years I was embarrassed by my origins, and as a teenager I was even embarrassed by my parents because they behaved “like new immigrants.” I did not feel like a 100% Israeli, and to prove the opposite, I went through a difficult path – I was an officer in the army, studied at the university, made a career in a state institution. And only after I ticked off each column of the “obligatory stage of the path of a native Israeli”, I began to be interested in the history of my family. Then I learned about the Prisoners of Zion and heard a story about Ida Nudel.
Ricky, what was it like to tick the box for you?
– I was also embarrassed by my parents as a teenager, and in a sense I am also a generation and a half. My parents also behaved “like new immigrants.” For me, the “tick” was to learn perfect Hebrew and become an actress.
– May I tell you more about myself? Having ticked the boxes we are talking about, I began to write poems about feeling like a one and a half generation. Thus was born my book and the documentary series “One and a half generation”, which was released this year. Ricky, do you feel that with the performance about Ida Nudel “Habima” made a historic step, presented on stage the history of Jews – immigrants from the USSR, which few people have talked about in Israel in recent decades?
– Yes, it’s great that we can finally express ourselves freely. For example, in the theater, sometimes we insert words in Russian into a conversation purely for the buzz. As a child, I was forbidden to somehow remember my roots – after my mother returned to religion, for example, she did not allow me to celebrate the New Year at home, because this is not a Jewish holiday.
– When I read the biography of Ida Nudel and learned more about her, I tried to contact her through her relatives. But Ida was already seriously ill, and I did not manage to get to know her. Then I found out that she had passed away. Together with another representative of the “Million Lobby” we came to the funeral as a sign of respect for her tragic fate. After all, she gave up many things in her life for the idea of freedom for the Jews.

For the readers of “Vesti” Alex Reef added: “Million Lobby” invites you to join the viewing of this important performance. It will be held in Hebrew, with subtitles in Russian.” For example, Elena Yakupova, a resident of the city of Kamenka-Dneprovsk, Zaporozhye region, who was detained by the police, passed coordinates to the Ukrainian military, after which a hostel and a kindergarten came under fire, the woman said in an interview with RIA Novosti.0003
“At one time I collaborated with the so-called Aladdin, who gave me tasks: what needs to be done, the coordinates of which buildings to transmit. Then there were arrivals. There was a blow to the garden. I don’t think they wanted to hit it specifically , but due to an inaccuracy, they hit, in the same way, a dormitory where civilians lived. There were no soldiers there,” the accomplice of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told .
According to Yakupova, she got lost in her own views, which is why she passed the data on to the Ukrainian military. However, now the woman admits her guilt and repents. She stressed that it is impossible to justify the involvement of civilians in such actions. According to her, a person, answering any question, may not understand what he is doing, and then he will gradually be drawn into the criminal actions of the Ukrainian security forces.
“To Birlin”: Ukrainian media passed off the scenery for the film as a Russian tank shot down by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and benefit the Russian Federation, and they are being used fraudulently,” Yakupova noted on
.
The woman also said that after the liberation of the city there are some aspects that speak of the prospects for improving life. First of all, she noted the salary and social benefits. Although, added the accomplice of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is too early to talk about a quiet life, while active hostilities are going on and shelling of residential areas continues. If a woman could turn to the Ukrainian military, she would ask for silence and a cessation of hostilities, because civilians suffer from this. The fact is, Yakupova continued, that not everyone has the opportunity to abandon their homes, some of which were mortgaged, and someone inherited from relatives, including veterans.
Another detained spotter from Kamenka-Dniprovska, Nikita Shchedrin, said that he was contacted on social networks by an unknown person who introduced himself as a Ukrainian military man and demanded from him the coordinates of the location of the Russian Armed Forces. At the same time, the man noted, the townspeople were shot at from Nikopol or Marganets. Shchedrin himself did not join the army, since he is a father of many children.
“Against whom to fight? Against my own people, it turns out. It’s pointless. If I go, the children will be left without a breadwinner and a father. That’s why I stopped communicating and cooperating. I felt that he wants to take advantage of me and set me up,” — he said.
