Welcome to Kid’s Kountry Child Care Centers for ages 6 weeks through 12 years. The following will help you to understand our goals and policies. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact your director or Rosemary McKinnis, Executive Director at (575) 526-2827 or Greg and Karen Sowards, Owners at (575) 649-7887. We want to assist you in the rearing of your children and are very interested in your thoughts, opinions, and concerns.
Kid’s Kountry, LLC are privately owned childcare centers. Greg has a Teaching Degree and Karen has her Child Development Associate. Both have had many years of experience in the care and teaching of children as well as raising six children of their own. Children and parents alike enjoy the peaceful, clean, open atmosphere of our centers. We try to supply the children with the latest materials, toys, books and equipment for their learning and enjoyment. Our staff have their NM State Child Care 45 Hour Training and also have continuing education classes year around. Each staff member has passed an FBI background investigation, and are trained in CPR and Basic First Aid. Kid’s Kountry truly is a lovely place for children and their families.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide the highest quality care and education for children that is child centered, holistic and values all children as individuals. We work to create a warm and safe environment for all to enjoy. Through developmentally appropriate activities we encourage a play based learning environment to explore many areas for growth and learning. We promote a welcoming space to encourage collaboration and continuity between families and educators.
PHILOSOPHY OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT
We believe that children are individuals who grow best in clean, friendly, environments where they can reach their full potential by choosing from a variety of stimulating activities. We feel that the adult educator guides through appropriate play and continues to build relationships through interactions in their environments. We have clear age appropriate rules for the children to follow where they learn order, routine, and are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our environments are set up in areas of interest which allow self-reflection and help build self- confidence within our center. We change the arrangement of the room frequently to give a refreshing feel. We bring a variety of learning centers for the children to explore and rotate new materials weekly. The children are taught to clean up their area before moving on to the next. We encourage and value parent involvement and maintain an open-door policy as well as a parent suggestion box in the lobby. We provide family resources and encourage Early Interventionists to visit the program/center and observe and participate in the child’s daily routine. When a child has a strong self-esteem and a lively curiosity as a result of an inclusive childcare program, then he/she will be eager and able to take on the challenges of school. We teach pre-reading/ writing and math skills through age appropriate activities and scaffold to continue progress. Through trainings and workshops our educators are able to effectively use methods based on research to provide an excellent pre-school curriculum.
CURRICULUM STATEMENT
Our curriculum emphasizes growth and development for the individual child at Kids Kountry. We utilize the Early Learning Guidelines in our curriculum and continuously observe and reassess our curriculum plans based on the individual child’s growth and development. We keep little minds, hands, and bodies busy in many ways. We believe that children learn through interesting guided play. Our goal is to help them to feel independent yet learn how to follow rules and directions as well as being courteous to adults and other children. Our activities provide an inclusive and safe environment for children’s development and work daily to introduce them to the beautiful cultures that make up our community. Kid’s Kountry educators help guide children in appropriate interactions with others where courtesy and cooperation are stressed. Young children enjoy a routine because it makes them feel secure in knowing what to expect next. We also like to be flexible and spontaneous while still following a general structure. All of the younger age groups of infant, toddler, and preschoolers have a circle time where we greet the children, play games, sing songs, and tell stories. We have an atmosphere where children are encouraged to speak up and talk about a variety of subjects, thus using their language skills and developing self confidence in group settings. We have learning centers, clearly defined, in which children learn through continuous play, these learning centers are changed based on the children’s interest.
GUIDANCE POLICY
We encourage the children to obey the rules. We try to have important rules that do not interfere with the enthusiasm and energetic nature of the young child. Of course, hitting, biting and similar behaviors will be curtailed by first noting what motivated the problem and helping the offending child to find another way of coping with his/her problem. We do have a time out, which is used to remove the child from the conflict, to help them cool down. Aggressive behavior is usually caused by: fatigue, boredom, hunger, frustration, or need for kindness and attention.
We look for the cause of the problem to help solve it. Some children are aggressive because of bad habit. Time out is meant to help break the habit. Conflict in a group is inevitable. However, we try to teach proper conflict resolution. Real life skills such as: Talking about how they feel. Taking a walk or playing with someone else. Reading a book or doing an art project. Being rocked or held. When a child says, “I want my mommy,” we comfort and explain that their parent will return soon.
Interview with Sandra Blakley, Founder of Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding LLC
Starting a Pet Daycare and Boarding Facility
Pools, play equipment and hiding places are just part of the benefits for your pet at DogKidz. Pet parents can keep an eye on their pet through online cameras. Meet Sandra Blakley, entrepreneur and owner of Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding LLC.
Sandra Blakley runs Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding in Vero Beach, Florida.
Tell me about your current business. What are you doing exactly?
Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding LLC provides worry free pet care. My five acre property in the country includes a boarding house with large pens, not cages, and huge 26 foot private runs. The runs are carpeted in K9 antibacterial grass. The inside is airy, bright, very clean, and temperature controlled. We also offer daycare for both boarders and daily guests. Our daycare building has three separate playrooms with twin beds, toys, hiding places, colorful murals on the walls and streaming video. Parents can view their dog kidz at play from their home or work computer. The dogs are divided into groups by size and temperament. Each playroom has a dog door to a play yard with climbing equipment and pools. Cameras are out in the play yards as well. There is also a dog park with a gazebo, agility equipment, and pools. Finally, we do luxury baths, spas, and grooming.
When did you start the business?
In August of 2006 I started renting the property while waiting on closing which happened in November. We worked and worked and spent a great deal of money. Everything was long neglected. I put up a $100,000 worth of fencing on the property, added the runs, changed all the indoor gates, cleaned, painted, added a dog park, converted the residence to a daycare, and did extensive work on the guest cottage so someone could remain here in residence.
What were you doing before this, and is this your first business?
I spent 20 years in the citrus industry working for the largest mail order citrus company. I was the director of one of three divisions. My division sold citrus wholesale, most notably to schools, clubs, churches etc. who re-sold the fruit for a profit as a fund raising product. Much of what I did, running my division, was similar to running a small business so I believed that I could make the transition.
What advice would you give to somebody else who wanted to start a similar business?
This is a tough business in terms of city/county codes and neighbors who may complain of noise. While I did everything right in those areas, I still had problems with a county official who approved my fencing and then, after all $100,000 worth of fencing was up, decided they made a mistake in setbacks but refused to offer me any slack for it. Additionally, neighbors who moved in after me sued me for noise and cost me a great deal of money and heartache.
You must love animals to do this. That sounds obvious but I know of folks who run pet care businesses from grooming to boarding who don’t really care about animals. It takes a huge amount of patience to deal with their messes and damage they do.
With the current economy in a slump, what cost saving tips would you have for a new entrepreneur?
Spend only what you have to spend. With all the start up funds, it is tempting to go and do everything you imagine but you can run out of money way before the business is self supporting. I had a reputation for dead-on projections before I started this business but it took months longer than I projected before we hit a minimum income.
Temporary labor can be a great asset to an entrepreneur. Have you ever hired temps or contractors? Would you suggest this as a strategy for new business owners?
Yes. Not only are the payroll taxes difficult for a novice but costs are certainly much higher with regular employees. Not only that, but we are open 7 days a week, 12 hours a day but are very busy only in the mornings and the last few hours of the day. This is difficult to staff for with regular employees. Part time and contract employees work much better for this time of situation.
What have you done that has been very effective in helping to grow the business?
We offered people what they wanted – a place where they can leave their dogs or other small animals and go off to enjoy their vacation without worrying. I did that by offering great facilities that are dog friendly but not silly or over the top. The place is clean, big, bright and we are thorough in checking vaccinations. Dogs have plenty of room, attention, comfort and are secure. Our motto is Run Free…Play Hard…Sleep Tight and we provide that. Folks genuinely feel like they are leaving their dogs at summer camp — not a cell.
How has your experience in running the business been different from what you expected?
The economy is been very damaging to us, no doubt, along with most everyone else. People travel less and their trips are shorter. The biggest surprise is that we have great difficulty bringing in daycare customers who are not boarding. Our facilities are far superior to the other dog daycares in the area but we are a little (few miles) further out. I was convinced that folks who were willing to spend the money to bring their dogs to daycare, would be willing to travel a few extra miles to come to a much better place but that has not been the case.
Is there anything you wish you had done differently?
I wish I had not made so many improvements at first. I wish I had trusted my instincts about the bank I chose and had gone somewhere else. I wish I would have tried harder to find a partner. Doing this all alone…even as independent as I am, has been far more difficult than I ever thought it would be.
It sounds like you have a wonderful place for pets to visit. Best wishes in growing your business, Sandra.

Sandra Blakley, Founder and CEO Of Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding
Sandra Blakley, Founder and CEO Of Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding
Sandra Blakley is the Founder and CEO of Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding. Sandra is a thought leader, influencer, visionary, and successful entrepreneur. Sandra provides the leadership and energy that has inspired the creation of Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding. Sandra Blakley joins other leading Bestselling Authors, International Speakers & CEO’s and Founders taking part in our Leader Roundtable Interview Series. The DotCom Magazine editorial team is delighted to have Sandra join us for our Leader Roundtable Interview.
Let’s start by telling us about your business.
Must love dogs! It’s all about the four legged friends (ok, 2-legged birds as well). I created Dog Kidz in 2006 and we board all kinds of pets but especially dogs. Our boarding pens are huge with incredible 26 foot runs. We have a separate building for the little guys as well as some fun and unique cat rooms. On top of that, Dog Kidz has a three section daycare for small (tots), medium (teens), and large dogs. They run in to the playroom and out to the yards at will with pools and climbing equipment, toys, and beds inside. Top that off with a dog park and you are at Dog Kidz.
Q: Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?
Pets are member of the family. Period. And it is all about making sure our clients know they can trust us. They trust us with the safety and the very lives of some very important kidz — their family pets. We run cameras in the daycare that they have access to so they can check in anytime. Folks are welcome to walk around most any part of the property and see whatever they need to. At any time, any staff member can give a specific report to a client on any pet. This is who we are.
Q: Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?
Objectively, we have those roomy pens and amazing runs for the boarders. Additionally, our daycare cams are all about transparency (and a bit of fun!). Subjectively, we care about each and every dog, cat or other small pet under our watch and have double check systems in place to make sure we do everything right.
Q: And to finish this section, Please tell us what is the one major key to your companys success?
Me. Hey, that has to be it for every small business out there run by it’s founder. It’s the founder’s idea and hard work that makes it all happen. Of course, as the company grows, managers come into place. But despite the fact that small business owners work hard than anyone else, it isn’t just the actual work. But even if the founder retires, that truth remains in the company’s attitude, systems, and whole creation. It takes an incredible amount of everything to turn an idea into a successful business.
Q: For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs just starting out with a new venture?
Be prepared. Recognize that you your entire life is going to center around this venture for quite some time to come. Be cautious with your start up money. It will almost certainly take longer than you think to build the business so hold enough back to carry you for longer than you think. It’s tempting to throw it all in the build up or the improvements you want but just don’t. Be very careful about who you hire. Never take on someone just because you’re tired of interviewing or just need to get on with it. Your people are you when you can’t be there.
Q: For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?
Persevere. Repeat to yourself: Failure is not an option.
Q: In todays fast changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?
Industry publications and seminars.
Q: What is your Why? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?
I like it!
Q: In one sentence, what is the most important thing one has to do to be a great leader?
Listen to others and incorporate their ideas so they know they are essential to the company’s success.
Q: In one sentence, describe how important your customers are to your business?
Clearly, no customers means no business.
Q: In one sentence, describe a positive way that technology can make the world a better place?
The innovative technology, arriving a breakneck speed, continues to save us time in every way so we can do more and do it better.
Q: In one sentence, tell us how something positive to motivate our readers?
We’ve learned recently that 50% of the workforce is employed by small business — you are a leader in the world.
Q: In one sentence, tell us how you start your day to get ready?
No, I have no tricks, no yoga, no morning meditation or moment of zen; I just jump out of bed and come in to feed the doggies!
Q: In one sentence, describe how you handle rejection and setback?
It is very stressful if someone leaves an unfair negative review or if you get hit by a pandemic but after a moment of grief, you have to rally and think how can I best mitigate the damage of this?
Q: In one sentence, describe what your hiring philosophy is?
Don’t settle – wait until you find the right person.
Q: In one sentence, describe how you keep your sanity in a competitive business environment?
I have a built in stress reliever — I’m surrounded by dogs (as well as my own!).
Sandra Blakley, thank you so much for participating in the DotCom Magazine Leader Roundtable Interview Series. We appreciate you participating in this important roundtable interview series, and helping our readers learn more about what it takes to build a great company and become a great leader. We wish you, your family, and of course Dog Kidz Country Daycare & Boarding, nothing but the best.

Why rural kindergartens and schools are much better than urban ones
In such a school, there are fewer students in classes and all children are supervised by adults, because everyone in the village knows each other. Anastasia Mironova had to face not only a rural school, but also a kindergarten in the wilderness. She saw that the benefits of rural upbringing and education are much greater than it seems.
We live in a remote village and, of course, we did not plan to send our daughter to kindergarten. Raising a domestic child overflowing with love and attention was one of our main tasks. But closer to the age of three, the daughter persistently requested to go to kindergarten. She began to suffer without permanent friends and stare at kindergarten playgrounds. While it was summer season, there were still some friends in the village for her. But it got colder – and our child had no one to play with. After making sure that the child was not an introvert, we went to visit the doctors for the garden.
After receiving the conclusions, the first step was to enroll in the garden. The unexpected turned out – legally, all kindergartens in the district are considered preschool groups. They are often placed in schools and you need to enroll there.
The road to the village school, alas, did not pass through the most picturesque places: the private sector, however, is neat, and behind it are several Soviet unfinished buildings. With unglazed windows and chipped bricks, they can terrify schoolchildren. Once the village flourished, children from neighboring villages were taken to its school, but now the surrounding villages and villages are empty. New school buildings became unnecessary and were simply abandoned.
However, inside the school, everything turned out better than I imagined. The first thing that caught my eye this time was, in fact, the teachers themselves. And a colossal difference between them and their urban counterparts.
A teacher in the city is a nervous, frankly twitchy person, forced to work in two shifts with classes of 30-35 children, or even more. It is loaded with reports, scheduled events, open lessons and other additional activities, on which earnings directly depend, hang on it all the time.
In the capitals and large regional centers, a teacher can earn good money, but for this he gives all his best to the loss of a human face psychological human form.
Why is it good to be a rural teacher
- They are calm. You look at these women and understand that they do not live constantly on nerves.
- They sleep longer. They do not need to spend two hours on the road like school teachers, of which only a few work near the house. Very often, in village schools, classes start later, because they are tied to the schedule of electric trains and suburban buses. There are teachers in our village who work in the neighboring village. I see that they go to the train at nine in the morning: 10 minutes walk to the station, 6 minutes drive and another 5 minutes walk to school. You can wake up at 8.30 and be in time for work by 9.thirty. City teachers never dreamed of such a luxury.
- They are responsive and friendly. I came to enroll my child in a kindergarten and immediately got to the director. She found time for a detailed conversation with me. They explained everything to me and helped me complete the application. While I was sitting in the principal’s waiting room, no one bothered her, and with those who still applied on some issues, she talked without haste.
- They communicate more with children. A simple consequence of the small number of classes and the unloaded teachers. In my presence, a boy came to the director, who could not get a certificate from the doctors for sports activities. The director personally talked to him, reassured him, began to call the doctor at the clinic in his presence and settled everything herself.
- They read more often. I’m sure of it. Because they simply have more free time. I doubt that in terms of knowledge of the subject and general erudition, they are inferior to city teachers. Especially when it comes to teachers of the Leningrad and Moscow regions, where the same graduates of the capital’s pedagogical universities work. Imagine two girlfriends who graduated from the Pedagogical Institute in St. Petersburg in the 90s. One stayed in the city, worked with a class first of 30, and then of 36 people, got up at six in the morning to be at the other end of the city by eight, taught in two shifts, took notebooks home and constantly filled out tons of reports. All this time, she huddled with her family in a communal apartment, and by the end of the 2000s, she took out a mortgage. And the other immediately got to the village, where she received a poor, but separate house. She slept until eight, returned from class at lunchtime, in the class she had a maximum of ten people, and in some years even five. She was not terrorized by constant checks and reporting lessons, because a rare check will reach the village even from the regional center. Tell me, which of these two by the age of 45 will have a healthier psyche and a lower percentage of professional burnout?
- Children in rural schools are calmer. No one runs around during recess, no one gets mad, no one kicks each other. There are few children in the school, they do not need to win back space. There is no or almost no bullying and violence between children in rural schools, because everyone knows each other: today you will beat Pasha – tomorrow your mother will talk about it at work, and the day after tomorrow you will meet her in the store. Or she will not be too lazy and will come to your parents in the evening, since you live two houses away. This is a powerful incentive to behave decently.
- There are no children who do not know Russian. This plus, of course, looks ambiguous. We all try to live in a tolerant society, the same is required by the educational doctrine, which introduces inclusive education for the disabled and adaptive for foreigners. However, in practice, such training often comes down to torment for the teacher, who has neither skills nor assistants for such complex work. As a result, the whole class falls behind.
- Rural schools have their own canteens. It is unprofitable here to bring food from central food factories, as in megacities, so they cook it on the spot. They do it well, because, again, everyone knows each other. If you steal meat from children’s cutlets too brazenly, the village will not forgive. If you feed spoiled and the children get poisoned, you will have to leave. The rules are clear and transparent.
Of course, the prospect of taking my child to a kindergarten in a neighboring village upset me at first. Although I had already seen rural schools and made sure that they were not at all scary, I knew nothing about kindergartens. And I was very surprised to see that the garden where we were going to enroll our daughter is located in a picturesque place in an old building that is not devoid of classical chic. All rooms are beautifully renovated, there is good furniture. When I saw that the children had a kitchen corner, a corner for changing toys, a separate barbershop corner with miniature tools, and many other themed areas, I gave in to my daughter’s persuasion. I did not regret it, because our garden is beautiful.
There are few children in it – this is the first obvious plus. There are 15 people on the list, but no more than ten kids go constantly. The teacher has time for everything. First, I met the nanny. She is kind, well-rested, benevolent, she rides a moped to work. The teacher is calm and smiling. If a child pees during the day, no one reprimands his parents, his underpants are washed, dried, put silently in a locker, and the next day they lay an oilcloth.
I have never seen such teachers in city gardens at all. I remember my experience as a teacher: 30 three-year-olds, two of whom do not speak Russian at all. This is hell. It is impossible to endure this without personal deformation.
Advantages of rural kindergarten
1. There is no queue for kindergarten . There is no need to enroll the child in the kindergarten immediately after the maternity hospital. We submitted documents on Thursday, and on Monday we came to the group.
2. Rural kindergartens and preschool groups are well funded. They cook on the spot and don’t steal like they do in the city. I can say this for sure. First, I repeat, everyone knows everyone. Secondly, with a very high probability, one of the cooks has a son, grandson or nephew going to kindergarten.
3. The child is sent to kindergarten at the request of the child. Children are taken from the kindergarten around four, at half past four there is no one else. Because few people take their children to the rural garden because of their work – alas, work is bad. Families often have only one person working. Many children go to the garden, like our daughter, for the sake of communication. This is very different from those who are forced into kindergarten and who sit there all day, and still remain in the extended group. Children are not as nervous and aggressive as in the city. After all, they themselves ask to go to the kindergarten and do not want to leave there.
This is exactly what happened to my daughter. On the very first day, she was very surprised when we came to pick her up before midnight – she wanted to sleep with the children. And when the weekend came, the daughter was terribly upset that the kindergarten was not working.
I can’t imagine a city kid who would be forced to stay in the company of 30 other kids for ten hours and then wouldn’t want to go home. This happens only with the most pronounced extroverts. And children themselves ask to go to the rural kindergarten.

village kindergarten and magical forest — Teletype
Usually people go to Norway to admire nature, but I, on the contrary, never cease to admire the urban structure, architecture, roads, public spaces. It is in our country that the wonders of urbanism are found only in large cities, and Norway, even in the most remote village, has something to surprise you with, something to show. Yesterday I showed you what a Norwegian village school looks like, and now, on the way to the magical forest, I saw a kindergarten. Yes, it makes me want to be a kid again.
01. In the morning, gaps appeared in the sky, and the sun came out!
02. You can’t even imagine what happiness it is after two days of endless rain
03. Everything changed at once, caught fire and blossomed
04. Norway is even better under the sun
05. And we are going further, to the north! Past farms and fields
06. Fjords
07. Lambs graze
08. Almost all the houses in our region are white. You come to the town, and everything white is very good.
09. Modern Norwegian Village
10.
11. This is an island near the village of Jorpeland, a popular family recreation area. In addition to walking paths that stretch for 2 km, there are boat docks, swimming areas and a golf course.
12. Look, there are no wastelands and benches with trash cans – nature and neat walking paths.
13. You don’t even need to invest millions in such improvement, it’s enough just to maintain the natural beauty.
14. Do sheep or goats graze on the island? How to distinguish them?
15. What’s cool about Norway is that there are picnic spots everywhere. Whether you go to the park or go to the sights, there will be tables, places for fire, urns everywhere. This grill is in the park, next to the red charcoal bin.
16. There is an option with a canopy, in case of rain
17. Such sites are equipped in the most picturesque places, and most importantly, they are always perfectly clean
18. Rest area near the road
19. Can I buy this island, build a house there and meet old age on it?
20.
21. Village
22. House by the water
23. At the entrance to the supermarket there is a collection point for bottles, lamps, batteries. Everything is sold and recycled. Norwegians are very confused about the environment.
24. And, of course, gas stations for electric vehicles
25. Road
26. Here is a kindergarten for you! An ordinary village, a new kindergarten.
27. One-story black building
28. With bright accents
The architecture is absolutely simple. This is what the building looked like during construction. The usual wooden facade, which was later stylishly painted:
29. The kindergarten is called Årdal, after the commune in which it is located. It was built on the site of an old kindergarten not far from an elementary school and a church. The architects are the Norwegian bureau Faber Bygg AS.
There are no photos of the finished interior, but it can be seen that it continues the exterior design of the building:
30. Of course, there will also be a grill in the kindergarten! And how without it? Every person should have the right to fry sausages or a steak on fire
31. Playground for the little ones
32. We can find such playgrounds in new good parks in Moscow or Kazan. In Norway, this is an ordinary remote village
33. How do you like it?
34. Playground for those who are older
35. NATO soldiers training base
36. And this is the magical Eventyrskogen forest, which is located just nearby, near the commune of Ordal.
37. Why do you think it is called magic? It’s all about these wooden figurines of fairy-tale characters that you can meet here. In total there are about 40
38. The forest turned out to be incredibly beautiful. It is located on a hill from which dozens of streams flow. They constantly change channels and flow right between the trees.
39. You are walking between moss-covered fir trees, and streams of the purest water from the mountains rush from all sides
40. Beauty
41.
42. An excellent walking route with minimal human intervention. Most likely, you did not even notice this protective grid between the trees
43. The journey takes about an hour, the length of the track is 1.2 km. There are places equipped for picnic and recreation
44. The landscape is constantly changing
45. Like the relief
46. A truly magical place!
47.
48.
49. But it’s time to move on!
50. I had to use ferries several times in Norway. They cost about 6 euros per person. Payment either in advance or on the ferry itself, a girl with a terminal comes up. In all the time I’ve been in the country, I’ve never needed cash. Everything from the map! I don’t even know what Norwegian krones look like, why?
51.
52. Insanely beautiful roads in Norway
53.
54.
55.
56.
57. a steep bridge for residents to make it easier for them to walk in the forest.
58. This is the Höse footbridge that connects the village of Sann to the forest. This forest has always been a popular place for walking, but people had to travel there for a long time.
59. Therefore, Rintala Eggertsson Arkitekter designed the bridge for the residents. Back in 2008, the architects held a discussion and found out the opinion of the residents about how they would like to see the crossing.
60. Some of the wishes were taken into account. The bridge was made of corten panels and steel gratings. From the side of the forest, a concrete pavilion was provided where you can relax or have a bite to eat. The architects intentionally diluted the natural landscape with such a clear horizontal line.
61. And in the center of the bridge, they set up an acoustic space where you can enjoy the flow of the river – the walls in this place were made of impenetrable steel sheets to reflect the sound, and the floor was grated. The beauty!
Can you imagine this?

Description of the manual:

There are feeders from which the animals eat, a shed where the animals can go, for example, to hide from the sun on a hot day. A house was “built” on the territory of the yard, in which grandparents can live. Near the house there is a bench for rest and a tree. The yard is guarded by a dog living in a booth. There is also a well in the yard.
Ice cream sticks were used to create a well, a house, a booth, fences, feeders and a barn. The bench was made from skewers. The tree was created from wire and beads, and a plastic bottle cap served as a support for the tree. Chenille wire was placed in the feeders as hay for animals. If desired, you can add real hay or grain to the feeders.

Model “Tree – 4 seasons”. Didactic manual for studying the seasons Zorkaltseva Svetlana Vladimirovna The manual will be useful for preschool children, educators, parents. The tree frame is done.
Rural Yard Model RURAL YARD LAYOUT Purpose: to form in young children the idea of a rural courtyard, domestic animals and their place.
Rural yard model The model was created as part of the implementation of the large project “Nature of the Urals”. The base is a cardboard box. Having cut out the necessary shape, I drew it.
Model of newspaper tubes “Rural yard” I bring to your attention a model of a rural yard. It was made by the parents of my group from newspaper tubes. We live in the city, there are few children.
Rural courtyard made for middle-aged children, with the aim of: reinforcing ideas about domestic animals (middle lane). Looking at pictures and toys, children fix the names of pets and their cubs, appearance; they discuss why these animals are called “domestic” (they live next to a person, under his protection and care). For the Rural Yard layout, children name pets and give them characteristics. Then the environment of the animals is recreated, gradually living each object. For example, on the layout, children place a cow. The teacher is interested in where the cow sleeps, what the cow eats when there is no grass (So, you need to stock up on hay).
By analogy, all the animals named by the children are played. After the animals familiar to the children are settled, it is possible to populate the courtyard with other representatives of domestic animals. In the course of such work, the layout changes all the time along with the development of children.
The layout “Rural courtyard” definitely wanted to show that it was wooden, so the material for manufacturing was predetermined. I started making it from a box (half of it), then I twisted the tubes from newspaper paper.
And gradually pasted over all the walls, partitions, cages, wove a fence. The roof was made of newsprint, folded strips by overlapping each other. like tiles.
That’s what happened. I added small pebbles and sand to the courtyard.
I made food troughs and a doghouse out of various boxes. a well from newspaper tubes, a ladder for a hayloft.
painted with stain, varnished, added an element of a log house made of twine.
the next step is decoration. dried grass in the hayloft, in nests, in feeders, on bedding, grain in feeders, water (blue material) in the well.
The guys settled the animals with great pleasure.
showing in parts. animals – “set of toys”
each has its own place.
after the resettlement of animals familiar to children, other representatives can be settled.
The layout will change all the time along with the development of children, pasture for livestock will be added. Until then – that’s it!
The work on the cognitive development of middle-aged children is extensive and multifaceted. One of the topics is the theme: “Pets”. Purpose: to lead to an elementary understanding of the concept of “pets”
A wonderful layout. Very educational for kids.
Wonderful rural courtyard.
The courtyard is beautiful. I really liked the idea of how to make a log house. I put it in my piggy bank. Thank you.
Interesting and original idea, and masterfully made.
How cool and real! Bravo!

Natalia, you have such a wonderful rural courtyard that you want to take care of it. It’s great.
THANK YOU.
thank you for the feedback on my “Country Yard”.
