A fascinating dive in Athens
I will not load you and your children with dry dates and information from guidebooks, but will help revive the history and immerse yourself in the myths of Ancient Greece. Acquaintance with the main attractions will be held in a language understandable to children.

• At Syntagma Square you will see the changing of the guard of honor, the Evzones, and learn about the purpose of their fancy skirts and pom-pom shoes.
• In the National Botanical Garden , a real paradise for children, you will walk in the shade of lush greenery, watch the funny poses of water turtles, find a nest of parrots and feed mountain goats.
• At the Kallimarmaro Olympic Stadium , the children will try to imitate the famous Disco Thrower statue, learn about the modern Olympic Games and marathon running.
• On the postcard streets of Anafiotika you will meet the cats who have chosen this area.
• At Temple of Zeus immerse yourself in the myths of the main god of Olympus and his adventures.
• On Areopagus Hill you will look at the temple of Hephaestus and the main ancient square, and I will tell you about the most interesting festival of antiquity – the Panathenaic.

The tour is great for children. Elena does not lose their attention, returns to the topic when they are distracted and tries to tell additionally about what aroused more interest. My two boys, aged 6 and 10, who did not want to go with a guide, quickly changed their minds. The tour added to their impressions of the trip, and we also have the best family photo where everyone finally looks into the frame), and even against the backdrop of the best view of all times and peoples!

Great guide! Despite the fact that we were completely unlucky with the weather (it was raining and there was a strong wind), she managed to interest us all, including our two sons, 14 and 11 years old, in the myths and gods of ancient Greece! We chose Elena because our goal was to get our 12-year-old daughter interested in the history of Athens, whose attention is often difficult to keep. The guide coped with the task perfectly well, it was interesting not only for my daughter, but also for us! The route is built in such a way that the picture is constantly changing – from the botanical garden to the top of the hill, from which a magnificent view of the Acropolis opens – you seem to be watching a movie about the city, imbued with culture and life. We all liked the tour very much, a six-year-old child liked it. The route is very well composed, part of the tour takes place in the park (botanical garden) – it’s easier on a hot day. On the other hand, the history of Athens is well told, an idea of ​​the topography of the modern city is given. I really liked how Elena built the tour. Very interesting talk about the myths and history of Athens. I learned a lot of interesting things for myself. Athena took an excursion for adults and children, of course, my daughter was more interested in the street of cats and ice cream, but she still remembered that the symbol of Athens is an owl and in the dispute between Pallas Athena and Poseidon, Athena won, because she brought the inhabitants of Athens a gift of an olive tree and for it’s thanks.

“Friends, stories and great views.”

I arrived in Athens literally for 1.5 days alone, and decided on an excursion from Elena. I was a little nervous, because for me the tete-a-tete format was new, and from experience we can say that not every guide is able to present everything both interestingly and informatively. BUT Elena is the same wonderful person, a master of her craft, in love with him. The walk was very comfortable, as if we had known each other for a thousand years, the route and views were mesmerizing, especially the end, we chose the time so that it was not too hot and the tour ended with a stunning sunset and a view of all of Athens.

I literally fell in love with this city. Exactly a month has passed, and in my head there are memories of this enchanting place with brought Greek coffee. 1000/10, still keeping in touch and I hope to meet again in other parts of Greece.
