Whoooo! Night on the street, and we are sitting in the plane and thinking about the pilot, so that he takes off well and landed in Prague … !!! But more on that!

For four long and eventful years, my husband and I did not go anywhere on vacation together. For more than a year I have been preparing for pregnancy – treatment based on test results, ovulation stimulation for IVF and IVF itself. Eight and a half months of a long-awaited pregnancy with twins, which was very difficult for me, I am still recovering after that. And in the future – two happy years of a new life with our boys!

My husband and I used to be together all the time. If suddenly we hung out separately, we still missed each other. We never got tired of each other’s company, but on the contrary – we have always been best friends, spouses and lovers. Of course, a family is not complete without children. With their appearance, the whole world turned upside down. We plunged headlong into parental everyday life. Now we have very little time left for us! We fall asleep in the same bed, but wake up in different ones. during the night I run into the boys’ room several times, go down with them to the living room and kitchen – either I dreamed of something, then to eat, then some water, then I just urgently need to see my mother! Everything went into the category of “doing everything in a short day”!

Of course, there are evenings when we put the children to bed, leave their grandmother to guard them, and we ourselves leave for an evening show at the cinema, a restaurant or just drive around the city, talking as before and hugging like schoolchildren in a car who have run away from their parents on their car 🙂

In September, the boys turned two years old, they are already adult men who do not miss their mother when she is not around (we specially introduced children from infancy to the company of relatives and friends, so that they would not only be were with a friend). We have all the main dates fall on the autumn period. Well, the wedding anniversary has arrived. My husband decided to buy a tour to Prague. Only for three days, but such long-awaited our three days!

Fortunately, two grandmothers supported our adventure and agreed to spend these days with their grandchildren. Grandmothers are grandmothers, they all consider it their duty to pamper and squeeze their grandchildren, and in our family everything is strictly according to the regime. With twins, it’s no different if you bring them up yourself without the support of nannies.

So, I dashed off instructions for grandmothers, in which the schedule of feeding, sleep, the whole daily routine, the dishes that the boys eat, what foods can be allergic to, which is very important during the day to give them clean water to drink , and compotes, which, I knew for sure, they would cook for them in my absence, can be given for pleasure, and not as the main drink! Separately, I put in a box all the medicines that can be used in completely different cases! Of course, in the instructions, I described the possible symptoms, their consequences, how to deal with them, what actions to take, and what medicine is suitable. A list of people who can be contacted for any reason was also compiled. First on the list were the contacts of our pediatrician and the ambulance. And a long list of our friends who were ready to rush at any call of grandmothers! Therefore, I recommend being able to make friends, so that there are reliable people nearby who can even be trusted with children! The list was supplemented with information about hygiene, clothes for the street and for the house.

obediently agreed to comply with the points of my instructions!

My husband and I agreed that we would calmly leave the children and spend three days busy in order to recharge for the next parental year! And so it was!

These days in the magical city of Prague were incredible, eventful and fabulous for us. We did not force and did not worry about our crumbs. We were one again, dissolved in each other! We hardly slept. We spent the days on excursions around the city and its sights, the evenings were filled with acquaintance with Czech cuisine and colorful establishments, tasting beer and meat. I enjoyed eating sweets, as without them! A lot of people thought we were on honeymoon. We kissed on the street in front of everyone, danced to the accompaniment of street musicians … we radiated happiness!

These busy days charged us for a year ahead, until the next wedding anniversary trip. We have a lot of new ideas on how to make our life more beautiful, better, healthier and richer!

At the airport, when we were returning to Kyiv, my husband helped the woman with her things (her husband could not carry everything for health reasons), and in gratitude we were invited to sit out waiting for the flight in the VIP lounge area. It was a great ending to our trip – nice people, a great place with a view of the runway, champagne, snow and WE!

We arrived at night, and in the morning everything started spinning again. We missed the kids, but they didn’t really miss us. We continue our life in the rigmarole of parenthood, but already fresh and happy as never before.
