Our program caters to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Each classroom highlights research based standards and learning goals age appropriate for each stage of learning and growth.

PCB is rapidly approaching, and many parents are tormented by Hamletian doubts: to go or not to go?
On the one hand, I really want to talk, break away, listen to people and sing myself, and on the other hand, children.
How to be with children? Should I take them with me to the KSP?
What awaits them on an Indian reservation? Will they enjoy? Don’t they get bored? Will they be safe? As a mother of two children and as an experienced CSP, I will tell you this: go! Ride for sure!
Let’s start with the fact that our spring song rally is practically the last opportunity to spend a weekend in nature on the eve of the Texas summer. Further Texas, as usual, will be covered by unbearable heat for half a year, you know.
For young children, going out into the wild or semi-wild nature with their parents is always an unforgettable adventure. In nature, the child begins to understand that his mom and dad can be not only boring types, obsessed with the three words “no”, “no” and “no”, but also bold, groovy, in a word, real friends. It turns out that mom not only knows how to swear about Coca-Cola stains on the carpet and toys scattered around the room, she also knows how to make a fire and sing songs, she is not afraid of frogs and lizards, she plays volleyball cool, plays the guitar and bakes delicious potatoes in ashes ! Well, who would have thought?!
Speaking between us, all of us, parents, are concerned about the same thing in immigrant life: how to keep the Russian language with our children? In this regard, the CSP, one might say, is an intensive immersion of the child in the elements of their native language, culture and mentality, which lasts for three whole days.
Your child has the opportunity to meet a large number of Russian-speaking (to be honest, Russian-speaking to varying degrees) peers, to participate in a variety of recreational and educational activities that the CSP organizers have prepared for your children. After all, the organizers of the KSP are not only fans of the KSP movement, they are also parents themselves.
What awaits the younger generation at KSP, apart from the opportunity to chat and play, make new friends and listen to Russian music?
First of all, from year to year KSP hosts a children’s concert (Saturday, three o’clock in the afternoon), in which we invite all children who love to sing to take part.
Secondly, this year you will find something new.
On Saturday at one o’clock in the pavilion there will be a competition of children’s drawings. The winner of this competition will receive a scholarship to the best art school in the city of Houston – Glassel, which exists at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts and has been raising and developing young artistic talents for many years.
The scholarship was established by the company “White Gold” for children from 4 to 17 years old. All other participants of the children’s drawing competition will receive memorable souvenirs.
By the way, this is not the only sponsorship contribution of the White Gold Company to the song festival this year. There, in the pavilion on Saturday at one o’clock in the afternoon, adults have a unique chance to earn $ 50 in … 45 minutes. And if you’re lucky, then 100.
In short: Texas is turning into New Vasyuki. The company “White Gold” invited us to the KSP from New York for an international master of sports, champion of Ukraine in 1983, bronze medalist in Moscow and finalist of the USSR in 1987, professor of physics at PACE University, coordinator of the American League of KVN, honorary citizen of the city of Yakutsk, and just good man Viktor Larin for a session of a simultaneous game of Russian checkers. Your win against the champion is $100, your draw is $50, and your loss is a keepsake.
I repeat: the simultaneous game session will take place on Saturday at one o’clock in the afternoon.
Well, in order not to blunder at the simultaneous game session, and certainly win a hundred bucks, we strongly advise you to warm up: sign up by phone 832-385-4729 with Pasha Nikolaev to participate in the Texas Russian-language chess and checkers tournament, which will be held in the same pavilion (the meeting place cannot be changed!) on Saturday, from 12 noon. Responsible for conducting – Pasha and Marina Nikolaev.
By the way, while you are playing, your children will be busy drawing. Do you see how the KSP-eschniki thought out everything subtly? And you still doubt: to go, not to go …
If you are worried that your child will be deprived of the usual comfort at the KSP, go to a sports shop before the trip. I assure you, you will find there a huge number of simple and inexpensive things that will make your child’s stay on the campsite very pleasant and completely safe.
And besides, they will make your life much easier. Believe me, the tourism industry has made a huge step forward since you, dear parents, went on camping trips in your youth. And the territory of the festival itself is well equipped: there are toilets, showers, water is connected to the sites. And the shops are a 10-minute drive, so even if you forgot something, don’t worry.
And, finally, information for the most, so to speak, restless mothers: there are quite calm zones on the KSP where the child can easily be put to bed. Some parents unite, put the children to sleep all in one tent, and arrange for adults to watch in the children’s tent in turn.
I know a lot of people who come to the KSP even with babies and do not experience any domestic difficulties from this trip.
KSP is first of all a holiday. A music festival that brings joy to the whole family. At the rally, children of different ages have fun, and not just kids. After all, hundreds of people from different cities come to the KSP, which means that a fifteen-year-old boy and a five-year-old kid will easily find a company for themselves.

Why go to KSP?
KSP is a place where you can make new friends, learn new things: playing the guitar, throwing knives and darts, making a campfire and other camping skills, or just chill out. At KSP, you can enjoy bard concerts, playing basketball, volleyball, chatting with interesting people and real Indians, rafting, good scenery and much more. But the most important thing is that parents finally take off their tight grips and then the doors to various possibilities open…
At the KSP, someone always finds a life friend (or girlfriend). Why sit at home and soar under the Texas sun when you can have a good time? No one leaves an Indian reservation dissatisfied, so see you there!
