Top 10 in Nation, Voted Best in Triangle

I really enjoy doing this twice a year! It’s a consignment shop and you price your own clothes. You get to shop for kids, women, men, even maternity. It has everything from clothes, shoes, toys, strollers, and even house ware. You should do it! You would really enjoy it! – Dominique M.

This is my favorite consignment sale in the Triangle. There is always lots of great stuff at great prices and even if it’s busy they keep the lines moving. – Melissa L.

I’m a happy consignor and shopper since 2006. I have used this wonderful sale to provide high quality clothing, shoes, toys, etc. for my three children. I highly recommend this sale to anyone who lives in the area. – Malikah A.

Incredible selection and great prices! – Susan B.

I really like the clothing section of this sale vs other sales. It is more manageable and better quality. – Marty O.

I love this sale. The ladies work so very hard to create a wonderful shopping experience that truly ‘keeps down the cost of growing up’! I always prepare to spend a few hours since there are so many stores to shop. I am able to buy 80% of my son’s seasonal wardrobe at this sale and clothes for myself too. I take pride in my son looking nice at all times; there are so many high quality clothes available. It is best to shop as early as possible and while kids/strollers are welcomed, I am more efficient when I don’t bring my son. I am sure all moms can understand that tip! 🙂 Happy shopping! – Jennifer J.

Love this sale! Great items, great prices and well organized! – Victoria G.

This is the best consignment sale I have ever been to. It is just right and not too big where you feel overwhelmed. I have sold my kids clothes there for years and have consigned there for years. I love it!!!! – Kristine C.

I have sold for two years now, but never shopped there until this past weekend, and now I’m hooked. – Cynthia Y.

What is the child thinking about? Child psychology for modern parents (Tanita Carey, Angarad Radkin)

out of stock

Available in 42 stores. See on the map

This book is based on the latest research in child psychology and neurology. It allows you to see the world through the eyes of a child, understand what he is thinking, and cope with hundreds of difficult situations that every parent faces.
Each of us has an internal script that dictates what kind of parents we should be. Following it, you may not even notice that we hold useless beliefs that interfere with full communication with the child. Attempts to restore discipline in such cases only exacerbate the situation.
“What is the child thinking about?” is the first book for parents that deals with adult and child thinking at the same time. It contains more than a hundred examples (scenarios) of real interaction with children that can be used at critical moments in the upbringing of a child in order to learn how to respond adequately and calmly.
Here you will find not only practical advice for each age group, but also advice on the main “pain topics”: difficulty falling asleep, going to a restaurant with your child, driving with him and much more.

KERRY CHILDREN’S CLOTHING – SELECTING THE SIZE ― Finskay.ru

Kerry’s children’s clothing, like any other clothing, has a number of its own characteristics.

Outerwear

Clothing sizes come in 6 increments: 56, 62, 68, 74, 80, 86, 92, 98, 104, 110, 116, 128, 134, 140, 146, 152, 158, 164, 170

All models are sewn with a stock according to the child’s age.

To correctly determine the right size of clothing, many factors should be taken into account, both standard (height, weight, age) and special (proportionality of body parts, slenderness or fatness of the child, etc.)

Р

Newborns (0-2 years old)

Features of age: long torso, short legs, rapid growth of the child. As the child begins to walk, the legs begin to grow faster than the body, but still proportionally remain shorter than the torso.

To obtain objective information about the growth of children under one and a half to two years old, they should be measured in the supine position, even if the child is already walking.

For babies up to a year, the size margin in clothes is maximum +6 cm, since at this age children grow the fastest.

All Kerry overalls for the “first winter” come with a margin of +6 cm. if the overall is size 74, it will fit up to the child’s height of 80 cm.
All baby models have cuffs on the sleeves and legs to cover the arms and legs.

If you decide to buy a “separate” set of kerries (ie jacket and dungarees), consider this factor: separate jacket pants are best suited for the “standard figure” and for “slim”.

For “puffy”, the set should be chosen one size larger than the actual height.

Example, large child: proportion height 83 weight 15 kg age 1 year 3 months.

In the middle of autumn we make a choice to have enough for the whole winter:
separate set size 92, or one-piece overalls from the “first winter” series 86.

Children (from 86 to 134 cm)

Main features of choosing a size for this age :
One-piece overalls kerry size +3 +6, separate sets (jacket + trousers) size by size.

i.e. a child of average build or slender height 109 will fit winter overalls Kerry size 110, and it will be enough for the whole winter. Separate jacket + trousers for height 109 the optimal size is 110 if the child is thin, and 116 if the child is of average build or overweight (it is assumed that you make a purchase in late autumn).

Kerry brand trousers in two types: the bottom of the legs with or without elastic. Those without elastic have a cuff inside the leg that protects against snow and moisture. It is better to buy them in size. If you want “with a margin”, then you should opt for models with an elastic band at the bottom.

For a larger child, choose a model with an elasticated bottom and one size up.
For example: height 87 cm weight 16 kg, pants size 92 will be good in length but narrow in the hips. Trousers 98 fit well, but are too long, we wear them with shoes and due to the fact that the bottom of the leg has an elastic band, the trousers fit perfectly! (for comparison: trousers with straight legs in this situation would be very long, they would have to be tucked up, which is not beautiful and not convenient).
