Familylink childtime: Child Care Centers, Daycare, Preschools
Google Family Link on the App Store

Description
Whether your children are younger or in their teens, the Family Link app lets you set digital ground rules to help guide them as they learn, play and explore online. For children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your country), Family Link also lets you create a Google Account for your child that’s like your account, with access to most Google services. You can:
Guide them to good content
• View their activity – Not all screen time is the same. Help your child make healthy decisions about what they do on their Android device, with activity reports showing how much time they’re spending on their favourite apps.
• Manage their apps – Handy notifications let you approve or block apps that your child wants to download from the Google Play Store. You can also manage in-app purchases, and hide specific apps on their device.
• Feed their curiosity – It can be hard to work out which apps are right for your child, so Family Link shows you teacher-recommended apps on Android that you can add directly to their device.
Keep an eye on screen time
• Set limits – It’s up to you to decide the right amount of screen time for your child. Family Link lets you set time limits and a bedtime for their supervised devices, so that you can help them find a good balance.
• Lock their device – Whether it’s time to go play outside, have dinner or just spend time together, you can remotely lock a supervised device whenever it’s time to take a break.
See where they are
• It’s helpful to be able to find your child when they’re on the go. You can use Family Link to help locate them as long as they’re carrying their Android devices.
Important Information
• Family Link’s tools vary depending on your child’s device. See a list of compatible devices at families.google.com/familylink/setup
• While Family Link helps you manage your child’s purchases and downloads from Google Play, they will not need approval to install app updates (including updates that expand permissions), apps you have previously approved or apps that have been shared in Family Library. Parents should regularly review their child’s installed apps and app permissions in Family Link.
• You should carefully review the apps on your child’s supervised device and disable those you don’t want them to use. Please note that you may not be able to disable some pre-installed apps.
• To see the location of your child’s or teenager’s device, it must be powered on, recently active and connected to the Internet.
• Teacher-recommended apps are only available on Android devices in the US to parents of children of certain ages.

Family link for children not in appstore
My son using iphone. There is no google family link for children in appstore so cannot install in his iphone. So sad because this is very good app to monitor & control child’s phone compared to others.
Good apps to control schedules and download
It is better if you could update the apps with volume control or mute/unmute. Bcz you know..kids tend to put full volume until your neighbour can hear it 🙄

Having children in the age of technology presents parents with many challenges. One of the largest is making sure your loved ones are safe and healthy by limiting their time staring at a screen. It’s also essential to monitor and restrict what they are doing during that time. With Screen Time, you can check your family’s device usage.
There are two ways you can set up Screen Time controls for your child: through Family Sharing and directly on a device.
How to set up Screen Time for your child through Family Sharing
With Family Sharing, you create an Apple ID for your kids. In doing so, all family members can share their Apple purchases such as apps, music, and books. In addition, with Family Sharing, you can set Screen time rules for each family member to be confident that everyone has settings that fit their needs and lifestyle.
To add a child account to family sharing, check out our How to create and add a child to Family Sharing article.
After you’ve added your child’s account to Family Sharing on one of the best iPhones or best iPads, you can control their Screen Time settings by doing the following.
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on your Apple ID.
- Choose Family Sharing.
- Select Screen Time.
- Follow the instructions to create your child’s Apple ID.
To setup Screen Time, launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, then tap on your Apple ID. Choose Family Sharing, followed by Screen Time. Follow the additional instructions on the screen. (Image credit: iMore)
How to set up Screen Time for your child directly on a device
Though Family Sharing is a great tool, it isn’t for everyone. If you’d prefer not to give your child an Apple ID just yet and would instead like to set up Screen Time directly on your child’s device, you can do that as well. Here’s how.
- Launch Settings.
- Tap Screen Time. You’ll see a list of insights that Screen Time provides.
- Select Continue.

- Tap This is My Child’s iPhone/iPad to set up Screen Time on this device for a child. You can then set a Downtime (i.e., a chunk of time — say, nighttime — when you don’t want them using their device).
- Choose Start.
- Select a start time.
- Tap Start again. Do the same for the End time.
- Choose Set Downtime to save your settings.

- Set your child’s App Limits (the amount of time per day that you want your kiddo to spend on certain categories of apps). For instance, if you only want them to spend 30 minutes per day playing games, then tap Games to select that category. Then scroll down to the bottom to where it says Time Amount, enter 30 minutes, then tap Set App Limit. You can set limits on as many individual app categories as you like or set an umbrella time for all apps.

- Tap Continue after reviewing Content & Privacy controls.
- Create a four-digit Parent Passcode using the numerical keyboard. Your child’s device will require this passcode to allow for more time or to change any Screen Time settings.
- Re-enter the passcode.

That’s it! The Screen Time settings on your child’s device are now in place. If you ever want to make any changes, you’ll need to launch Screen Time using the first two steps in the tutorial above and then enter your Parent Passcode.
How to set communication limits for your child
Screen Time on the iPhone 13 and other mobile devices include the ability to create communication limits. These limits, which you can set for yourself and your children, apply to Phone, FaceTime, Messages, and iCloud contacts.
- Launch the Settings app on your mobile device.
- Tap Screen Time.
- Under Family, tap your child’s name.

How To Install Google Family Link On iPhone? [Answered 2022]- Droidrant
If you’re looking for parental controls for your iPhone, then you may be wondering how to install Google Family Link on iPhone. It’s a feature that lets you control what your children can access on Google Play. This allows you to monitor what your children are downloading and viewing, and set limits on what they can view or download. Family Link is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play.
First, you need to ensure that you have iOS 11. This is the most recent version of iOS, so your iPhone must have this latest version. Otherwise, you won’t be able to use the app. You will also need to enter your child’s Google account password in order to sign in. If your child is not at home, then you can’t install the app on their iPhone. To install Google Family Link, you’ll need to get their consent.

How Do I Install Family Link On iPhone?
To install Google Family Link on iPhone, you need to have an Android device with parental controls. To set up Google Family Link on an Android device, head to Settings and select Parental controls. Sign into your child’s Google Account. From here, you can select permissions, such as who can see photos and videos, and what they can do with them. You can then manage your child’s account settings from the app.
Parents may want to monitor their children’s smartphone usage, but this parental control app is not a substitute for conversation. Before letting your child use the device, talk to them about the time they spend on it, and discuss apps with them. You might also want to check on their screen time and see how much time they spend on specific apps. If you find that they’re spending excessive time on a phone, you can lock it remotely with the app.
Parents can also manage the apps downloaded by their children. Family Link pops up a notification whenever a child downloads an app. The notification will contain information about the app, including the publisher, average star rating, and how many people downloaded it. Parents can then approve or reject it for their child. Alternatively, you can also block certain apps. However, there are some limitations with Family Link. To download Family Link on iPhone, you must have an Android device.
Is There A Family Link App For iPhone?
Is There A Family Link App For iPhone, and if so, what are its features? This app helps parents monitor their children’s activity online. It lets you add a child’s phone number to your own account and receive updates on their location and usage. Parents can also block certain apps and set screen time limits. This is great news for parents. Here are some other reasons to use the Family Link app.
To download the app, you’ll need to go to the App Store. After you’ve downloaded the app, sign in with your Google account. If you don’t already have one, you can create a free account. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll see a list of children who use Family Link. From there, you can manage each child’s settings. This feature is available in 30 countries, including the U. S. and UK.
If you have more than one iPhone, you can create multiple accounts using this app. Once you’ve created a family account, you can control which apps are accessible to your children. The app allows parents to restrict access to certain apps or content. Parents can also create a “parent account” for each child. This can be very useful for monitoring your child’s activities. It can help you prevent unwanted behavior.
How Do I Set Up Google Family Link On iPad?
When you’re not sure how to set up Google Family Link on your iPad, you can follow these instructions. Once installed on your child’s device, you can set limits for daily screen time, bedtime, and study time. If your child does use apps, you can control their access to those apps and block access to inappropriate content. Family Link also includes a location feature, so you can see where your child is.
To set up Family Link, sign into your child’s Google account. It’s free. Parents can set parental restrictions and use the parent access codes to lock their Android device. With the parental restrictions set, you can view where your child is and what they are doing. And if your child is using a non-Google device, you can control access to the app. And because the app is compatible with all devices, it’s easy to install.
The app allows parents to monitor which apps their children use and how much time they spend in each. You can also set daily or monthly limits for specific apps. Google Family Link works with all devices, including iPads, Android smartphones, and Amazon Fire tablets. You can set time limits on individual apps or for the entire device, so you can control screen time without affecting their usage. However, the downside is that Google Family Link can’t manage purchases inside third-party apps. You’ll still need to monitor your child’s apps to make sure they’re safe.
Is Family Link For iPad?
If you’re a parent who’s worried about their children’s online activities, you should consider downloading the Google app, “Family Link”, to keep tabs on their activities. Using this app, parents can set screen time limits, approve and disapprove apps, and monitor the usage of their child’s iPad. This application is a free download that lets you manage your child’s Google account, settings, and device usage.
Although Family Link is currently in testing, it can help parents manage the apps their children download. If your child downloads an app and you have Family Link enabled, you’ll get a notification. The app’s name, publisher, average star rating, and number of downloads will appear on the notification. This notification is particularly helpful if your child downloads too many apps. It is also useful if your child has an Android device.
Another important feature of the Family Link app is the ability to track your child’s location. It works by checking your child’s location every five minutes. Qustodio also gives parents a way to remotely access settings on their child’s iPad. Parents can access their child’s location and find out if they have lost it. Parents can also use this app to locate lost phones. If you have a child who lives at home and uses an iPad, you can use this app to find him/her.
Can I Monitor My Child’s iPhone From Android?
You might wonder, “Can I monitor my child’s iPhone from an Android?” There are several different ways to do it. Some require you to install software on the target phone. Others require you to have physical access to the target phone. While these methods can be both effective and discrete, they often require rooting or jailbreaking. Listed below are some tips to help you decide which option is best for you.
If you are concerned about inappropriate use of the Internet, you can use parental controls to prevent your child from accessing certain websites. These features let you block specific sites and categories, block apps, and check screen time. Parental controls are an excellent way to monitor your child’s phone. You can even monitor their location by establishing safe zones. Depending on your child’s age, you can set a time limit for them to check the app.
If you’re worried about your child’s phone’s usage, you can set limits to prevent them from becoming addicted to apps. Screen Time settings are located under “Settings.” Tap on App Limits to limit the time kids spend on certain apps. Alternatively, you can set parental passcodes for the settings to prevent your child from altering them. With parental controls, you can monitor the iPhone activity of your children anytime.
What Is The Apple Version Of Family Link?
If you’re not sure what Google’s Family Link is and how it works, read on. The app will make it easy to set limits on screen time and bedtimes and remotely lock supervised devices. You can also restrict apps and in-app purchases. And if you’re worried about your children’s safety while on the go, Family Link is the perfect solution. Here’s how it works:
To get started, download the free Family Link app. The app will require a Google account for your child under 13 and two Android devices with at least Nougat. You’ll need to enable the feature by going to Settings > Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls. Then, sign in and set up the device. If you don’t want to set up Family Link on Android, try Apple’s Screen Time and Family Sharing.
The app’s parental controls let you limit how much time your child can spend on the device each day. You can set a daily limit, which you can adjust each day. The app also lets you set a time limit per activity, which means that you can restrict your child’s time with different apps during certain periods. This way, you can make sure that your children don’t go over the daily limit.
How Can I Monitor My Childs iPhone?
There are a variety of parental controls and features that you can use to control your child’s digital experience, and Google’s free Family Link app is one of them. You can set limits on screen time, set an inaccessibility time during bedtime, and more. You can even block their access to certain apps with a simple tap. The app is available for kids under 13, but older children can sign up for a Google account to access the parental controls. You can also set a location limit to monitor your child’s location.
If you’re wondering how to install Google Family Link on your child’s iPhone, there are several ways to do so. First, you’ll need to get their consent. You’ll be asked to provide your credit card information. This is usually temporary, and will result in a 30-cent authorization from Google. There’s also a limit of one account per device. However, once you’ve given them permission, the process is easy and quick.

FAQ
If you don’t have the password, how can you open the parental controls?
There is a means to bypass the need for a password in order to open the parental controls, in the event that the password is lost or otherwise unavailable. Keep holding down the power button and the home button on the device that the parental controls are set up on until it restarts. This must be done before the controls may be used. After it has been resumed, a new option that is going to be named “Emergency Parental Controls” will be available. You will need to enter a new password consisting of four digits in order to deactivate the parental restrictions.
How do I get rid of the Family link if I don’t have the parent code?
There are a few other approaches of eliminating a family connection that do not need the use of parent code. You may do this in a few different ways. One of them is to go into the family editor and erase the family connection. The family connection code may also be removed by going into the code viewer and using the delete button there.
How can one get around the parental restrictions that are on family link?
Utilizing a proxy server is one method that may be used to circumvent parental restrictions on family connection. A computer known as a proxy server is one that acts as a go-between for your device and the websites that you access. It is possible to use it to conceal your IP address and to make it more difficult for websites to monitor your activities on their platforms. Utilizing a virtual private network (VPN) is another method for evading parental restrictions. A virtual private network, or VPN, is the same thing. It does this by establishing a safe connection between the device you’re using and the internet.
What steps do I need to take to delete the parent access code from my Chromebook?
To delete a parent access code from a Chromebook, you must first go to the Settings menu on the Chromebook. The next step is to pick “Manage other individuals,” followed by “Add person.” After selecting “Share this device with,” you will be prompted to enter the email address of the person to whom you want to provide access to your Chromebook. After that, you will need to input the parent access code that was provided to you and then choose “Done.
How can I find out the password for the parental controls on my device?
When a kid is accessing the internet, a parent may restrict the kinds of websites that their child can visit by utilising a password for the parental controls. The router’s settings are where you’ll find the password, and you’ll need it in order to sign up for the parental controls most of the time. To discover the password, use a web browser and enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into the address bar (the IP address of your router).
What changes take place on Family Link when your kid reaches the age of 13?
On Family Link, a parent is alerted when their kid reaches the age of 13, at which point the parent is offered the choice to begin letting their child take responsibility for maintaining their own Google account. This means that the youngster may now use their very own Google account to access their email, documents, and any other services that Google offers. If the parent so chooses, they may continue to administer the kid’s account, but they also have the option of handing over greater responsibility and management of the child’s time spent online to the youngster.
Where can I find the instructions to disable the parental controls on Google?
Launch your web browser, then go to https://www.google.com/ in order to disengage the parental restrictions that are enabled on Google. There is a button labelled “Sign In” located in the upper right-hand corner of the page; please click on it. After providing your email address and password, use the “Sign In” option to complete the process. After you have successfully logged in, visit the page’s bottom and choose the “Parental Controls” option from the list of links there.
What is the meaning of the parent code?
A code known as a parent code is a code that is used for the purpose of identifying the student’s parents. The code is used to monitor the academic development of the kids and to guarantee that the parents are kept abreast of their child’s current academic standing at all times.
How can I return the Google account that was created for my kid to its usual state?
I am not aware with the particulars of how to convert a Google account that was created for a kid into a typical adult account, but I would believe that it is easy to do so using the options that are associated with the Google account. When an online account is made for a kid, there are often limits put in place that allow for parental monitoring and control over what the child can and cannot do while using the internet. These restrictions are put in place when the account is formed.

One of the struggles of being a parent in these times is having to police your children’s technology usage. I can’t tell you how many fights I’ve had with my kids trying to get them off of their devices at bedtime. Now that most of the world is under lockdown and students have to be on their devices for long periods of time throughout the day, managing screen time has gotten even trickier. Thankfully, Google’s Family Link app takes a lot of the pain and struggle out of this process. I’ll show you how to use the app to manage daily screen time, bedtime schedules, set screen limits per app, and lock your kids out of their devices (or give them a bit of bonus time if they deserve it).
How to set daily limits and bedtimes
- Open the Family Link app on your phone.
- Click on your kid’s profile.
- Tap on the Screen Time card.Source: Jeramy Johnson / Android Central
- Tap Set up or Edit limits.
- Make sure you see the Daily Limit tab at the top of the screen, and then tap the check marks next to each day you want to set a time limit.
- Set time limits per day of the week.
- To set a scheduled bedtime for the device, tap on the Bedtime tab at the top of this screen.
- Tap the check marks next to each day you want to set a time limit.
- Set bedtimes per day of the week.Source: Jeramy Johnson / Android Central
The biggest struggles I’ve had with my kids are generally over daily limits and getting ready for bed. If your issues are more with specific app usage, read on.
How to set app limits
- From the Family Link app, tap on the app card that says View all apps.Source: Jeramy Johnson / Android Central
- Scroll through the list of apps on your kid’s device, and tap on the hourglass next to each app to set time limits per day.
- Tap on the Set limit link on the pop up.
- Adjust what you want the time limit to be and then tap Set.Source: Jeramy Johnson / Android Central
Now you can make sure your kid still can access Google Classroom or Google Docs while limiting their gaming or YouTube time.
How to lock or unlock the device or give bonus time
- From the Family Link app, tap on the app card for your kid’s device that you wish to lock or unlock.
- On the card for your kid’s device, tap on Lock now.Source: Jeramy Johnson / Android Central
- You can set a timeframe for how long the device will be locked or tap Unlock.
- Alternatively, you can tap Bonus time to give your kid a bit more screen time.
- Decide how much bonus time you wish to allow, and tap Add.Source: Jeramy Johnson / Android Central
What’s great about Family Link is even if you set hard limits or schedules, you can quickly adjust those limits on the fly as you see best.

9000 Description: is the easiest and most fun. The guy, when he was twenty-three years old, went to school, but he did not expect what awaits him in this hellish place. Moreover, it all started from the moment he first stepped outside the classroom, a crowd of naked girls who were not embarrassed by anything, on the contrary, they looked at the guy with interest. Then it only got worse, a girl named Rin approached the guy and directly began to be interested in whether the guy had a girlfriend, moreover, she smiled and said that she was ready to become one. Hehe, you thought that was it? No, this is just the beginning. Before Aoki, Namisuki-san worked there, behaving cruelly with his subordinates. And what was to be expected from this, the students got rid of the annoying teacher. But after that, some girls did not want to forgive the insult, in particular Mimi-chan, who stopped going to classes. Rin and Kuro also want to make fun of this teacher, they constantly put a bastard. The end of the story can be found out by watching this anime before the end.

Children’s time: Russians increasingly want to postpone their child’s return to work | Articles
Over the past 10 years in Russia, the number of parents who believe that a child can go to work only after reaching the age of majority or after learning a profession has increased by one and a half to two times, follows from a survey of the Superjob career service, with which up to publications were reviewed by Izvestia. In general, most of the respondents consider the age of 16–17 years to be optimal for this, women more often than men tend to “push back” this period . Starting a career early, including in low-paid positions or as an intern, will help you really assess your abilities and understand the demands of the market. At the same time, it is at this age that the psyche is very vulnerable, and children tend to overestimate their strengths and capabilities , so it is important that parents help them make decisions, experts point out.
Early start
A child can start working or earn extra money from the age of 16–17, about a third (30%) of the parents who took part in the survey believe. This answer has become the most common . Almost a quarter (26%) believe that it is possible to earn your own money from the age of 14-15. Only 5% and 3% of respondents, respectively, were in favor of allowing a child to earn money from the age of 12–13 or until the age of 12.
Another 19% of respondents believe that it is best to wait until the child gets his own profession, some parents are of the opinion that the child should go to work only after he has mastered the profession (13%) . 5% of respondents found it difficult to answer.

At the same time, women are more likely than men to believe that it is better to postpone starting a first job or part-time job. Thus, the idea that a child should start earning at the age of 14-15 years is supported by 27% of men and 25% of women, at the age of 12-13 years – 6% of men and 4% of women, up to 12 years – 4% and 2% respectively.
At the same time, women more often chose the answer, according to which the first job should appear after the age of 18 (24% of women vs. 16% of men).
The survey was conducted by the Superjob service among parents of children aged 7 to 16 throughout Russia from 1 to 18 November, 1. 6 thousand respondents took part in it.

At the same time, 10 years ago, participants in a similar survey almost twice as often spoke in favor of an earlier job or part-time job . The results of the current study are compared with data from surveys conducted in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
Thus, the idea that a child should go to work after 18 years of age or after receiving a profession was then shared by only 14% and 5% of parents respectively (now it is 19% and 13%). Most of the respondents (37% and 32%) then were of the opinion that you need to go to work at the age of 14–15 or 16–17. These responses also remained popular in 2012 and 2014.
Building on internal goals
Starting a career early allows children to better define their own professional priorities, gain experience interacting with people in a work environment and understand how the labor market works in general. However, it is important that the decision be conscious and one way or another correspond to the life goals of the child, and not be made solely out of a desire to earn extra pocket money, experts interviewed by Izvestia draw attention.
In general, the age at which you start your first job or part-time job is very individual – a lot here also depends on the opinion of your parents . By itself, such an experience can be useful, however, understanding that, as a rule, we are talking about teenagers, it is important to take into account the peculiarities of their psyche and support the child at this stage, says family psychologist Natalia Panfilova.

— Most often, children start working or earning extra money at the age of 14, 15 or 16. At this time, the psyche is very vulnerable, the child can easily get psychologically traumatized, fall under the negative influence of adults. Any adult can hurt such a child and catch up with various complexes. Therefore, a part-time job in itself is not a bad thing, but it is important that the child does not go to work for no one knows where and no one knows who simply because he wants more money, she warns.
In addition, at this age, young people, as a rule, tend to seriously overestimate their strength, which can damage their studies. Helping a child to set priorities correctly and make sure that work will not affect their studies, according to the interlocutor of the publication, is largely the task of parents.
At the same time, the motivation of today’s teenagers is noticeably different from the motivation of their parents , notes Irina Baranova, career consultant and founder of the B.Lab recruiting company. So, if parents more often show pragmatism and ask their children to find a part-time job so that they “understand the value of money”, teenagers themselves are increasingly looking for work that would allow them to fulfill themselves in the future and give the feeling that they are doing something useful . This, in her opinion, is the right approach.
— We must start from our internal goals and guidelines, and not be led by some external circumstances or imposed values — for example, that a good job is work from start to finish, or that the main thing is that you had money for a new smartphone,” she notes.

A favorable scenario could be to work in the company of parents in a role that does not require serious qualifications , says Natalya Panfilova: “This means that the child will be safe and at the same time he will be able to try on different professional roles, understand whether he wants to follow in the footsteps of your family or do something of your own. ” Another option is a temporary part-time job during the holidays, which will not hurt your studies.
The entry of children into the labor market, as a rule, is subject to seasonality and is tied to vacation periods, Superjob confirms.
— Until 2019, the number of posted resumes grew in March and November by 15–20% compared to the average monthly activity indicators, in December–January — by 25–30%; The largest growth was during the long summer holidays: from the end of May to mid-August, the number of posted resumes grew by 60-70% relative to the monthly average, the company says.
At the same time, in 2020, the pandemic affected children’s part-time work – for example, in November, the number of teenagers’ resumes posted is growing faster (30% against the “traditional” 15-20%). In addition, the preferences of applicants have also changed – fewer promoters, animators and nannies began to appear on the site, but more applicants interested in working as couriers or remote work – for example, a mobile game tester or a tutor.
Evaluate yourself
If we are talking about working in a large company, then in the case of high school students and first-year students, it is more likely that this will be an internship, and not a paid starting position, Irina Baranova believes. However, the general understanding of how the company works – including knowledge of staffing and how a large company works in general – gained in this case can be an important advantage in subsequent interviews. In addition, early entry into the market allows you to determine in advance your preferences for the future. If a person already has specialties that interest him, he will be able to look at how the working day of such a specialist is actually built, compare it with his ideas and, if anything, adjust his own goals, the expert notes.

A year ago, the Ministry of Education drew attention to the fact that Russian teenagers do not know how to correlate their own inclinations and interests with the demands that exist in the modern labor market . This was announced in the department following the results of large-scale professional testing, which was conducted among 250 thousand schoolchildren in August last year.
As part of the testing, the participants were asked to answer three groups of questions: about their own professional interests and goals, then questions about the modern labor market and, in particular, existing professions. At the final stage, they were asked to correlate their requests with the needs of the market. Only 1.5% of the participants were able to do this.
— Almost 90% of the guys do not understand either what is inside them or the labor market. About 10% have already figured out what they would like, they more or less understand themselves, but do not understand the labor market. And only about 1.5% of respondents know what they want and even move along some track. We even know all of them – these are the guys from the Quantoriums and Sirius, – then the Deputy Minister of Education Irina Potekhina said.

It is the opportunity to evaluate your real abilities and inclinations, to see what you are capable of and whether your qualities correspond to your needs, is one of the advantages of early entry to work , Natalya Panfilova draws attention. Someone who has always dreamed of being in charge may find that in reality they are much better at being an executor, while someone, on the contrary, will suddenly discover in themselves the ability to lead. If it turns out that the requests do not correspond to real qualities, and the achievement of this goal is important for the child, it will become clear what should be worked on in the future, the expert says.

Unbearable alarm clock, and again it was not enough
Sleep
And if I hadn’t toiled after midnight, I didn’t watch some
Wacky movie
Then he would wake up himself
But time is stolen from sleep and lost
In summer, two or three days are always missing
Last summer days you appreciate every hour, every moment
Can’t breathe them in
And if you live like this from the first day of summer
Immediately catch every summer second?
Lovers do not have enough time catastrophically
Their clock runs at an elusive speed
And exhausted, they fall, unable to love anymore
As first
What if they could brush aside everything but
Love
And stop time
And only children, only children can and must
Ignore time
Don’t know it’s moving
They don’t need, they can’t appreciate him
It is foolish to think that children are little people
Children are a special nation, they are an amazing race
They live in endless time
And children don’t grow up
Children don’t get big
Children just disappear
And we — we keep memories of them

The editor-in-chief of the publishing house “Children’s Time” told whether it is worth republishing old books
Not a single generation of children grew up on books that were published under the brand name of the publishing house “DETGIZ”. Therefore, we can say with all confidence that we all “come from DETGIZ”. Is it worth it to republish those same old books and how not to fall into “book nostalgia”.
Natalya Kostitsina and Kirill Manzhula, the hosts of the podcast “Nedetsky babble about … or UFOs”, talked about this and not only about this with Alla Nasonova, editor-in-chief of the Children’s Time publishing house.
UFO: Chukovsky, Marshak, Mikhalkov, Barto were regular authors of DETGIZ. The list of names is endless. Was there a special atmosphere in the publishing house itself?
AN: The publishing house was a place of attraction for writers of all ages and all stripes. We are now preparing a book called “We are from DETGIZ”. And there we will tell you everything in detail about this place and about the people who once worked there. Some writers published in children’s magazines and entered children’s literature because they did not have a chance to publish, as they say, in the adult world. The poet Oleg Grigoriev published books only in children’s literature. During his lifetime, not a single adult book was published, although he is by and large a poet by no means a children’s one. The same can be said about Joseph Brodsky. Before leaving for America, his wonderful book “The Ballad of a Little Tugboat” was published in the Soviet Union. Now everyone says: “Oh, how! We remember”. And they don’t remember, probably, then it somehow passed unnoticed.
UFO: Didn’t pay attention.
A.N.: They did not pay attention to the names. The Leningrad branch of DETGIZ was distinguished by the fact that it always made deeply innovative books, was not afraid to publish books by adult writers in their refraction for children. That is, great artists, great writers gave their debt to children, but for them it was also tempting. Firstly, the opportunity to publish, and sometimes with very significant philosophical lyrics, no matter that it is hidden in the format of a children’s book. And, secondly, the material moment. The most modest children’s book in Soviet times came out in 30, 40, 70 thousand copies in a trial run. If the book was a success, then 150,000 copies were reprinted the next year, and if the book was in great steady demand, it had one and a half million copies. A person who published a thin children’s book, a writer and an artist, could calmly continue to work on creativity for a year and a half, or even two years, because at that time they were financially secure. Now everything is exactly the opposite. Poets, writers, artists should almost invest their money in the publication of a children’s book.
UFO: Does this mean there is no demand?
AN: This means that the distribution system has collapsed. There is demand, but no money.
UFO: Does your publishing house republish those books that were published in Soviet times?
А.N.: We practically do not reprint. To be honest, I’m not interested. To republish the book as it was, one to one, is a purely commercial undertaking. Yes, grandmothers will recognize the book of their childhood, they will say: “Oh, I had one in my childhood!”, and they will buy it. We are republishing, but about or with some explanatory articles or by modifying this book beyond recognition.
UFO: As for the same Agnia Barto and some of those Soviet writers and poets, are their texts outdated?
A.N.: Of course not. In any case, as far as preschool literature is concerned, literature for the little ones. She, in general, is born with great difficulty. Here, oddly enough, the most difficult genre is to write a poem of four lines and for the rest of your life. This is just a very rare talent, so unique that indeed Agniya Barto is immortal, and Samuil Marshak is immortal, and Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky.
UFO: Have you discovered new names over the years?
A.N.: Yes, of course, and a lot. For many years we have been organizing the How to Write Well festival. For ten years, more than a hundred new authors of works for children have passed through this festival.
UFO: Do they all keep writing?
A.N.: No. But we published 65 of them in the last anniversary collection. Every year it happens like this: we are sent a certain set of texts. This year we have received more than two hundred applications for the festival from different parts of the country.
