We have already talked about how to properly distribute the household load and how to teach relatives to respect your work. Today we will analyze with you family manipulation, which is associated with inequality in the distribution of responsibilities, and often this manipulation is combined with financial violence.

A typical picture

The women of our society are sacrificial. Many, when they get married and have children, take on an unreasonably large amount of work, even if no one asks or forces them to do so. For example, my client wakes up before everyone else, goes to cook breakfast, feeds the whole family, sends her husband to work, and sends her older child to school, and takes her younger child to kindergarten. Then she goes to work herself, returns before her husband and runs to take her offspring to various circles, in the evening she feeds the whole family. He gets up at night to the children if they cry, ask for a drink, get sick. The husband comes home from work in the evening and rests.

It’s good that we met in Leningrad in autumn. Do you remember a walk in the Summer Garden? The restless leaves spiraled above us and landed on the black wet asphalt. I look at Brodsky’s painting “Summer Garden in Autumn” and now … I am writing you a letter.

The same alley, the same sadness in the weeping trees, the same passers-by hurrying somewhere… The arbor looks like a small heavenly house where you can hide from sadness. It is enough to run up the stairs into it, slightly touching the railing. You probably remember how we hid in it from annoying wet drops and exchanged lines from a poem by our beloved Nikolai Rubtsov:0003

The inevitability was repeated in the world..." 

But there is no rain on the canvas, there are few clouds, they are gray, and life does not look like an artistic image. It is brighter… So, Val… Write what you live, what you think about. Quiet sunny day in late autumn. But there is no sadness in the picture from the realization of the impending cold. On the contrary – I.I. Brodsky depicted the triumph of nature over withering. Around everything is happy with the sunlight, the last warmth. There are a lot of people walking in the alley. Here, mothers walk babies in strollers, old people relax on benches, children play with golden autumn foliage. So happy and peaceful around!

Brodsky Isaac Izrailevich is a landscape painter whose paintings are full of sincere love for nature. Of all his paintings, I was most captivated by the canvas “Summer Garden in Autumn”, which depicts a city alley, going far, far beyond the horizon.

The picture looks very realistic, the artist accurately depicted every tree, every crack in the ground, benches on both sides of the alley, people walking somewhere in the distance, shadows that trees cast on the ground. It seems to me that this is literally a photographic picture that depicted one moment in the life of the citizens of St. Petersburg, who decided to relax in the Summer Garden and enjoy the last warm days that will soon recede before the onset of cold winter.

It seems to me that the artist specially painted the picture from the very beginning of the alley, where there are no shops or people yet. Thus, he invites me to mentally walk further along the alley, enjoying the beauty of golden autumn. At first I see in front of me a small gazebo with arched windows, to which a ladder leads. This gazebo is slightly hidden under the branches of trees and seems to be the perfect place for confidential conversations and romantic meetings. Further on, I seem to be walking along the path between the trees that guard it on both sides. They tower over the alley like gigantic guards, majestic in their golden garb of orange and yellow leaves. The shadows of the trees falling on the ground create a fabulous pattern on it, making the walk even more amazing.

A little further on you can already see people – mothers with prams, groups of friends, couples. I cannot make out each of the people depicted, but fantasy tells me everything that the artist tried to convey. I love this picture, painted in a calm, lifelike manner, without any bright colors or emotional outburst, which gives me a sense of belonging to it.
