I was looking for care for my son as I was going back to work. I found this daycare and needless to say it was the best decision. Valentina and Miriam treated my son as if he was apart of their family. AnythingI needed or my son needed, they made it happen. They communicated with me throughout the day and I genuinely felt like he was in good hands. I trusted them more than I’d ever trust a family member. My son had his last day today because we relocated to Corona, but I’d take my son to them before anyone else. Thank you Valentina and Miriam for everything! You guys are awesome!

If you want quantity and no quality, go elsewhere. There are other cheaper options. If you want quality and quality, choose Pam.
I am a child psych specialist, and I can smell a good daycare from miles away.Placed my beloved infant in Pam’s care 5 months ago, and she did not disappoint! Not only is she patient and loving, she is also observant and strict. Yes, babies need love, consistency and discipline.
Her place is always clean, and it surprises me how my baby also comes home clean, tired and happy at all times? Infants are a mess, but Pam is immune to it miraculously?! It is wonderful to have an exhausted baby who sleeps well at night, when she was not left in a crib to watch TV for hours. Pam and Zia give all kids 1:1 attention, playing, singing and dancing with them all day.
The TLC provided is priceless, and Pam’s fees are very reasonable. Try her out, and welcome to the family!…

How to take care of a newborn baby

In the first months of their life, babies need maximum attention and care from adults. A year after birth, the child takes a huge step towards his physical and emotional development. And in order for the process of growing up to take place correctly, moms and dads need to provide all the necessary conditions for this. In this article, we will explain in detail what exactly is meant.

The first thing to keep in mind is that every child is special and requires an individual approach. Of course, you should listen to the advice of experienced educators and specialists, but it will also not be superfluous to listen to your own intuition and set up contact with your child, taking into account the nuances of his character and physiology.

How to care for your newborn

Proper breastfeeding is one of the most important aspects of caring for your baby. Since nutrition is an indispensable component of life, sucking milk from the mother’s breast in the first days and months after birth will be a priority for the baby. In addition to providing the opportunity to consume nutrients, breastfeeding will allow mother and baby to become much closer emotionally and strengthen this bond.

Particular attention should be paid to the hygiene of the newborn. The skin of a child is particularly delicate, and therefore requires careful care. To prevent prickly heat and diaper rash, you should regularly take baths, the water temperature in which should not exceed 20-22 ° C. You need to bathe a newborn daily, gradually increasing the duration of water procedures (up to 10 minutes) and reducing the water temperature (by 1-2 degrees) over time. As for cosmetics, it is recommended to use only special baby soap or bathing foam. And children’s bathroom accessories will help to distract and cheer the baby.

Caring for the umbilical wound is one of the most important aspects of caring for a newborn. After the bath, the umbilical cord must be treated with sterile water and dried thoroughly with a clean towel. Experts note that other solutions should not be used to treat the umbilical cord, as they can disrupt the natural healing process. Also, it is not recommended to take cotton wool for wiping, because the remnants of the fibers can remain in the umbilical zone and further bring discomfort to the child.

How to care for a newborn girl

Pediatricians say that when caring for girls, you should be especially careful when washing the genitals so as not to injure them. For water procedures, you need to use only warm water, as well as special cosmetics. You need to wash a newborn girl from front to back, holding her so that her tummy is up. At the first signs of inflammation in the genital area, it is necessary to contact specialists. Redness of the skin will help eliminate a bath with a decoction of chamomile or the use of Miramistin.

How to care for a newborn boy

Caring for a son has its own characteristics. Doctors recommend washing the genitals of a newborn boy only with warm water and only from the outside. If the need to “refresh” appears during the day, it is best to use hygienic wet wipes.

Peculiarities of cleaning the area around the eyes of a baby

The eyes of a newborn require very delicate care. After the child wakes up, you can often notice mucus that has accumulated during the night in the corners of his eyes. You can wash these areas with cotton pads moistened with boiled water. Wipe the eyes from the inner corner to the outer.

Minor discharge from the eyes during sleep is quite natural. However, if you notice too much discharge of this kind, then you should consult a doctor, because this may indicate a certain disease.

How to clean the nose and ears of a newborn

These areas should not be neglected. Ears are best cleaned after a bath and when caring for them, only the auricle should be cleaned and in no case should you climb into the ear canal.

Nose cleaning can be tricky. A small child up to the age of 2-3 years does not know how to blow his nose. Therefore, to care for the nasal cavity of a newborn, you need to use a special enema in the morning and evening, as well as instill sprays to clean the nose.

Basics of baby care

Diaper is the most important hygiene item for newborns. Today, there are many options for these accessories. Pediatricians and psychologists note that diapers, despite all their benefits and the ability to make life easier for adults, can have a detrimental effect on a child’s development. In a diaper, the child may not be fully aware that she goes to the toilet. The feeling that accompanies a bowel movement in a diaper may become natural for him. And in the future, it will be difficult for the child to get used to the potty and the “adult” toilet.

In the first months after birth, it is simply impossible to do without diapers. However, as soon as the baby begins to become more independent, switch to the so-called reusable diapers. They are made of fabric and help the child to better and faster form the skills to control his physiological processes.

Experienced mothers and fathers emphasize that before the first birthday, one of the main tasks of parents is to teach their child to eat right. Reflexes will form gradually and on their own, but in order for the child to develop correctly, parents must shape the diet of their son or daughter in a way that is appropriate for their physical development and age. Sterilizers and heaters will be useful in caring for a newborn.

Daily routine also plays an important role. For newborns, sleep is next in importance after nutrition. Remember that a child should not live according to a schedule convenient for adults: wake up early, go to bed late, etc. The production of hormones necessary for healthy growth and development occurs during sleep. Therefore, the task of moms and dads is to make sure that the baby falls asleep on time and has all the conditions for a comfortable rest.
