Unusual kindergartens in Russia and around the world

Today we are badly setting up the life of young working parents, without the existence of kindergartens.

The first institutions that specialized in looking after children of preschool age appeared in Germany in the 19th century. Their appearance was associated with a change in the social conditions of life, when women began to work on an equal basis with men, receive a full-fledged, and therefore long-term education, participate in the affairs of the state, and could no longer fully take care of the house and children. nine0003

The name itself – “kindergarten” also came from Germany. It was invented in 1837 by the teacher Friedrich Wilhelm August Froebel, who created the first such institution. It is based on the idea that children are “flowers” that require skillful and careful care, and specially trained “gardeners” (caregivers and nannies) should deal with them.

The first kindergarten in Russia was opened in the 60s of the XIX century in St. Petersburg. Later, similar establishments were opened by private individuals in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Smolensk and Tbilisi. In view of the fact that the creation and functioning of such gardens directly depended on the financial condition of their patrons, few of them were opened, and they did not exist for long. nine0003

At the beginning of the 20th century, the first free kindergartens for children from the lower strata of the population, as well as for orphans, appeared in Russia. However, the state system of preschool education takes shape only after the adoption in 1917 of the “Declaration on preschool education”, which determined the basic principles of the Soviet system of educating preschoolers: free and accessible. And after the war, the first nurseries appeared in the USSR, in which parents could leave their babies for the whole day already from the second month of their life. nine0003

In Europe, the beginning of the system of pre-school education, perhaps, can be considered the plan for reforming school education proposed by Clara Zetkin, according to which it was proposed to create a unified system of secular public education from kindergarten to higher education. Today, the demand for kindergartens and nurseries in Europe is certainly high, although the number of preschool educational institutions does not meet the need for them everywhere.

In the Russian Federation, the problem of access to preschool education, if not completely resolved, is on the verge of elimination. In Russia today there are more than fifty-two thousand organizations providing services for preschool education for children. nine0003

Today, both in Russia and in the world, they try to approach the issue of creating objects of preschool education as creatively as possible. So, in our country, the most magical, of course, can be called the Kindergarten in the Moscow region, at the state farm. Lenin.

This castle-like children’s saloon was opened in February 2013. Minister of Education Dmitry Livanov, who was present at the opening, called it the best preschool educational institution in our country.

No less a children’s institution was opened in the city of Yoshkar-Ola of the Republic of Mari El – it is kindergarten school No. 5 “Ordinary Miracle” – a unique educational institution with a long history. This is a whole educational complex in which both schoolchildren and preschoolers study, as well as sports sections.

Outwardly unremarkable, but, nevertheless, a very original garden was built in the city of Sredneuralsk, Sverdlovsk Region. It is called the “Golden Cockerel”, and its main feature is its high energy efficiency. A light transmission system has been implemented in the kindergarten, when natural sunlight is transmitted to dark rooms, which saves from 11 to 20% of electricity per year. And using an individual heating point, the kindergarten spends exactly two times less on heat supply than other comparable institutions. Due to all this, the Golden Key has become the most energy-efficient kindergarten in the country.
nine0003

There are many interesting examples of preschool educational institutions in European countries.

For example, in France, in Paris, there is a very interesting kindergarten. Its architecture uses figures of a giant giraffe and a polar bear, which support the building from two sides.

Animals are becoming part of the architectural solution of the kindergarten in the city of Karlsruhe, Germany. However, the creators of this object went further and made the whole building in the form of an animal.
nine0003

Cat ready to jump. Instead of eyes, windows, and the entrance to the building is in place of the mouth. Well, what is a cat without a tail? The tail is a hill. Fun!

And in Switzerland they built a kindergarten quite ordinary from the outside. The object is located on the ground floor of an ordinary residential building and differs from apartments only in color and window arrangement.
nine0003

However, inside it is a whole labyrinth. Rooms with the most unusual geometry and different color schemes. They help turn the everyday life of young children into a constant creative search.

Another geometric solution was implemented in the Norwegian kindergarten in the city of Tromso.

nine0047

In the UK, a kindergarten school was opened to them. Saint Mary. Light and bright project resembles a cottage. Timber-lined terrace, lots of windows (even in the roof), lots of greenery and light.

The city of Salzburg, Austria is also known for a garden with an original ecological solution. Grassy façade, windows instead of walls and plenty of greenery around.

And finally, in India, in New Delhi, builders have created a truly surreal kindergarten. Comments are unnecessary here.
nine0003

There are still a lot of interesting kindergartens in different countries. It is impossible to describe everything in one article. But the main thing that unites all preschool institutions is that they are created with great love!

The organizational and legal form of kindergartens is an autonomous institution, which has its own characteristics, unlike a budgetary municipal institution. The autonomous institution was created in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in order to ensure the constitutional right of citizens of the Russian Federation to receive preschool education. The institution is financed by the Founder on the basis of the developed and approved municipal task for the implementation of the main educational program of preschool education for 7597 children . Funds in the form of subsidies are directed to the implementation of the municipal task. This municipal assignment provides for the implementation of the main educational program of preschool education. Everything that is not provided for by the main program is paid by individuals or legal entities on the basis of a service agreement and is voluntary.

Paid services are not included in the municipal task, which is funded by the Founder. The list of paid services is approved by the Founder and regulated by the charter of the institution.
