Thank you for your interest in Baby Genius Day Care Center! Our center was established in 2003 as a place for children to learn and thrive. From the very beginning, our main goal was to create a culturally diverse child care environment where our students would be exposed to different languages and would learn to appreciate individual differences in themselves and others.

For many years, we’ve been working hard on establishing and maintaining an exceptional reputation. An essential part of our success belongs to the families from our community whose constant support and trust have largely contributed to what we have achieved. We foster relationships with family members, encourage open communication, and appreciate suggestions for improvement. Many families stay with us for years. We value these connections and strive to exceed the expectations laid upon us.

We are also proud of our teachers and staff whose devotion and hard work benefit children in so many ways. Our core employees have been staying with us for a while and have raised a whole generation of children. They give our boys and girls their love and affection and guide them wisely using a unique approach for every child.

About Us

Mendon Child Care Center received its New York State license in 1999. We take great care accordingly in choosing the team that is responsible for looking after your children here at Mendon Child Care Center in Mendon. All team members are vetted for employment in our daycare center, ensuring your child is in the best possible hands. Our lead teachers are Child Development Associate (CDA) Certified and share their expertise throughout our programs.

Fully trained, our team takes the time to get to know each child and their family. That’s because at Mendon Child Care Center, we’re not only an early learning center, we’re like an extension of the family unit.  Our Curriculum

Each of our programs at Mendon Child Care Center is built up on the PLAY philosophy: Play is the work of young children. By actively engaging in a variety of hands-on activities, the children at our daycare will discover and grow. 

Learning by doing is our approach. Our trained staff and certified teachers will guide children in exercises, song, discussion, crafts and a range of other activities, all centered around monthly learning themes.

Parent Communication – One Of Our Top Priorities

We understand that parents must find balance between their work and family lives. That’s why Mendon Child Care Center provides flexible schedules – to meet the needs of working families. But good communication is key to making you and your child’s daycare experience a rewarding one. We have a number of methods in place to share your child’s day-to-day experiences with you:

• The “Daily Sheet” tells you what your child did that day
• The classroom bulletin board shows the monthly activity calendar, parent newsletters, lunch menus and other important information
• Your child’s mailbox folder has items to go home

Magadan Kindergarten No. 15 Presented a Unique Experience to Colleagues and Parents The team presented the results of their experimental site – Olympiads, pedagogical carousels and competitions are held at the institution all week long. One of the highlights of the kaleidoscope was the Starfall Olympiad.

The teams of participants in the Olympiad included representatives of five kindergartens from the Stroitel microdistrict. After the parting words of the organizers, young talents land on various platforms – the task of each is to show different facets of their abilities. Children tell fairy tales, sing songs and present bright creative numbers. Evaluates future stars of the jury. A prerequisite is to focus on the regional component in your numbers.

“It was the preparation of the event on the basis of the 15th garden that revealed the talents in our garden. It turned out that we have people who professionally dance northern dances, it turned out that there are employees who belong to the small peoples of the North and their children play musical instruments,” said Albina Ivanova, senior teacher of kindergarten No. 3.

Treasured points could be earned that day in financial literacy and various skills. Future engineers and designers take part in another stage at the adjacent Olympiad venues. In the robotics competition, the guys assemble a model of a racing car. The boys manage not only to complete the task on time, but also have time to play with the models. After all, these guys have been doing robotics in additional classes for several years.

Teachers of the 15th Kindergarten make up a child’s educational itinerary in such a way as to help everyone discover their talents. Here they are engaged in rhyming, studying Euler circles, developing creative thinking using the drudle technique. One of the popular directions is the identification of leadership qualities in children.

Experimental work in the 15th kindergarten has been carried out for 4 years. Here we decided to give teachers of other kindergartens in Magadan an opportunity to immerse themselves in this topic – presentation events lasted all week, kids, parents and teachers took part in them.

All-Russian campaign “Give books with love!”

February 14 is International Book Giving Day. Its main idea is to show that a paper book remains a relevant gift and does not lose its value even in the age of technology. Our kindergarten also became a participant in the international action within the framework of the Rays of Heat project. Kindergarten teachers, parents of our pupils believe that participation in the action contributes to the spread of the idea of ​​the value of children’s reading as the most important means of intellectual and spiritual development of the younger generation; development of volunteering skills among young citizens of the Russian Federation through participation in creative events. Action “Give a book with love!” called upon

“Winter Spartakiad”

The most important value for every person is health, so the kindergarten pays great attention to raising a healthy child. Sport helps to grow up healthy, strong, strong. And where can you show your physical skills and abilities, if not in competitions. Last week, the pupils of our kindergarten took part in the Winter Sports project. The project was developed and implemented by the teacher Voronina E.N. The teacher talked to the children about Olympic sports, thematic albums about sports and the Olympics were considered. And, of course, every day the children trained with elements of various sports: skiing, sledding, skating, hockey. Preserve and strengthen the health of children, instill a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle, develop strength, endurance, reaction time, accuracy in completing tasks, improve motor skills, cultivate feelings of support for each other, empathy – such tasks should be solved by teachers, introducing children to different sports and instilling a love for a healthy lifestyle. “Winter’s Tale”

Every year our kindergarten takes part in the city competition for the best decorative and artistic design of the facade of the building. So this year, the kindergarten employees decorated the territory and facade of the building with New Year’s snowflakes, Christmas trees, Christmas decorations, decorated the windows of the groups. At the very entrance to the kindergarten, parents and children meet with magical deer, whimsical snowmen. All decorations sparkle with multi-colored lights and create the impression that the children are in a winter fairy tale and, of course, cheer up both children and parents. Shine, “Rays of warmth!”

“Rays of warmth” – this is the name of our volunteer team. And our “rays” are already starting to shine! Last week, a week of psychology was held in the kindergarten under the motto “Let’s give kindness to the world”, organized by the teacher-psychologist M.P. Basalaeva. It ended with a solemn event “Dedication to Volunteers”. Throughout the week, educators, children and their parents provided practical assistance through various forms of interaction with society. All participants of the volunteer movement took part in the collection of warm clothes, food, hygiene products, money for the military personnel of Donbass, the children made drawings for Russian soldiers.
