Our preschool program focuses on the development of fine and gross motor skills, playground readiness, social skills, and cheerleading skills.
Our specially designed program and equipment are scaled to fit preschoolers that have smaller hands and bodies allowing our tiniest athletes to do cheerleading “just like the big kids.” From learning stunts, jumps, tumbling and fun cheers, these children will have no downtime! While age is the general guideline for class organization, our curriculum allows for the flexibility that acknowledges that children develop at different rates.

Our son is in his second year at this school , and as our oldest child, I am typically behind on what is going on. The school makes a great effort to communicate well and stay ahead of any students that may not learn as fast, or are missing assignments. The clubs and sports are abundant and the band is top notch. Our concerns were totally unnecessary. All of our children have loved Poplar Grove from day one. The staff and teachers are welcoming and provide excellent instruction. It was way better than last year because it was overcrowded and some of the teachers didn’t care as much as this year. This year we have better teachers and we don’t have as many kids as last year. We put our daughter in another privately owned center when we first moved to Colorado. They were flexible, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in what WE were looking for, rather than telling me what they could offer. From that day forward I could see that they are involved with every family and child, from day one. They are always available, and if I ever have a question or concern, or need anything at all, I am immediately met with support and action. In the classroom, her teachers have far surpassed my expectations as well. We left all family behind and moved from Oregon to Colorado suddenly. My daughter entered childcare full-time for the the first time, and had been battling several potty-training challenges due to a gastrointestinal disorder she has had since birth.
With so many obstacles, I was nervous sending her anywhere. However, her teachers have worked with her on every single level to make her feel comfortable and loved, and have done everything her specialist has asked regarding her disorder. They have bent over backwards and gone above and beyond to make sure we are following every step and alteration to the plan put in place by the doctor. I truly believe that because of Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Christina, she has overcome all of these obstacles and absolutely loves going to school. She is fully potty trained and no longer struggles the way she had since she was born. I attribute their encouragement and support to the majority of her success and excitement. Lastly, the curriculum put in place by KinderCare is exactly what we were looking for. I was initially nervous about going the “corporate” route with our childcare, but quickly realized what a superior setting it is compared to a private center. She is consistently challenged on all levels, and especially loves the art projects.
They are highly developed and detailed, and everything they do centers around learning. She went from regressing drastically during the short time she was at the private center, to learning things I had no idea a 2-year-old could grasp. I am amazed daily with what she learns at school because of their curriculum, structure and staff. Everything they teach is created by professionals and customized to fit the individuals and classroom dynamic. I love that her teachers are able to take a highly developed core plan and make it work specifically for her and her friends, based on their needs and personalities. One of the best features, is that with every project comes with photos of my child creating her work. It is wonderful to see her so happy and involved, even when I can’t be there personally. After touring eight different centers in Parker, and seeing what an incredible difference this center has had in our lives, I would recommend Dusti and Melissa’s KinderCare to absolutely anyone. I am fully confident in our decision to send my daughter there, and honestly could not be happier with our choice!

I was not even allowed to tell other teachers what had happened to my child, so they could be prepared for the fact that she was suddenly acting terrified and traumatized. Other ex-teachers and ex-families later told me that this teacher is widely known to treat the children with terrible rudeness and nastiness, but that “someone in the administration must love her” because she is allowed to be “a nightmare” to the children, with impunity. This center used to be good, when it was Mulberry. Kindercare bought Mulberry, and then Knowledge Learning Corporation took over – and it has become more and more profit-oriented and corporate.

Plus there are two care givers for 6 kids so my child got 1:1 time withthe teacher, and he needed just that due to his picky eating. They worked on my child’s behavioral difficulties when he would go through that “phase”. The teacher is very responsive and you get frequent updates during the day. Also not many family daycares serve homecooked lunch. Weeks after leaving the daycare my kid still talks about both, teachers and his friends. I would highly recommend this daycare…. 
As he has grown, Carla has worked with him on academic development such as colors, letters, shapes – and now actual reading. She even helped him learn his ABCs in French. He has thrived under her teaching and is well ahead in reading and numbers for his age. The children are able to have free play inside and outside in the good weather, so there is plenty of unstructured time as well. My son is now entering full day preschool and I’m very sad to leave Carousel Child Care as it has been such a positive part of his life….
