YWCA Rhode Island was established in 1867 and our preschool program was established in 1932. At 148 years old, YWCA Rhode Island is the third oldest YWCA in the country. YWCA has long prioritized early childhood education, community outreach and health education programs for underserved populations, in particular people of color.
