90,000 elevator modes and their appointment – lift comprehensive management systems. solves a number of logical problems, ensuring the choice of the correct direction of movement, depending on the destination floor, the location of the cabin. The control system, thanks to the switch, switches from the “Normal operation” (“NR”) mode to “Control from the engine room” (“MP”), “Inspection”, “Loading”. The transition to the special mode “Fire Hazard” is performed automatically from the modes “Loading”, “HP”.

The elevator control modes used (which will be discussed below) have certain features that allow you to use elevator equipment as safely as possible.


The article contains a description of the following modes:

Normal operation

Different modes of the elevator are designed to ensure the reliable operation of the lifting machine. Daily transportation of passengers is carried out in the “HP” mode. The passenger is in control of the movement.

The call is registered by pressing the button. If the hoist is on the desired floor, the doors open. When the location does not match the floor of the call, a free cabin or a lift with people is sent to fulfill the request, if passengers have not registered the order within 5-6 seconds.

If there are multiple calls, the hoist chooses the direction of movement according to the first order received, sequentially executing the rest of the orders along the way.

If the “Cancel” button is pressed while moving in the cab, all registered orders are reset, the forklift stops. Until the doors open, it is forbidden to register new orders.

The “Normal operation” option is activated as follows:

  • revision blocking toggle switch (T) – included
  • circuit breaker (B) – disabled
  • operating mode switch (P) – normal operation
  • exact stop sensor (D) – shunt with an index located in the working gap

Revision

The “Revision” mode allows you to check the equipment for operability, to inspect the shaft from the cab roof. The special mode is activated by the switch handle located most often on top of the cab, the toggle switch is switched to the “Inspection” position.

Enable the option allows setting toggle switches to the following state:

  • T – disabled
  • V – disabled
  • P – MP
  • D – place opposite the shunt of the 1st floor

According to GOST R 56943-2016, the elevator speed when using the special mode is no more than 0.63 m/s.

Roof operated. To move, use the “Up”/”Down” buttons. Releasing the pressure elements leads to an immediate stop, an emergency stop is carried out by pressing “Stop”.

The special mode is exited after closing the shaft doors and turning off the switch in the machine room, elevator or elevator roof.

Operation from the engine room

Administration is carried out by means of pressure elements mounted on the control panel. The Down, Up, Exact Stop and Stop buttons are used. MP allows you to use the operating modes of the elevator “MP1” and “MP2”.

The following arrangement of toggle switches allows the option to be enabled:

  • T – included
  • V – disabled
  • P – MP
  • D – move in front of the first floor shunt

“MP1” allows the car to move quickly if the “Down”/”Up” buttons are activated. The movement of the lift continues when the pressure element is released, stopping is provided in the following cases:

  • immediately after pressing “Stop”
  • stops at the nearest floor when the “Exact stop” button is pressed
  • automatic stop occurs when equipment reaches extreme levels

“MP2” allows you to move at low speed, controlling the movement from the engine room by pressing the elements “Up” and “Down”. The movement is made only when the button is pressed.

Loading

Loading mode allows the lift to keep the doors open. Closing of doors and resumption of movement occur after the registration of the corresponding order, incoming calls are ignored.

If it is necessary to transfer the elevator to the “Loading” mode, the “Cancel” button is used. To enable the option, it must be held for 4-6 seconds.

When the load order (loading/unloading) is completed, the floor will automatically deactivate the lift. After five minutes, the doors will close, the lift will go to the landing level.

Fire danger

Automatic activation of the “Fire danger” special mode is carried out from the “Loading”, “HP” modes. The lift goes to the first floor, opens the doors, then stops functioning. The shutters remain open, waiting for the arrival of fire departments.

When the lift operates in the “Inspection” and “MP” modes, the activation of the “Fire Danger” special mode in the elevators does not occur, the system activates a sound notification.

Fire mode, when moving lifting equipment down / up, prohibits the elevator from responding to passing calls, sending the car to the landing floor.

If the forklift is located on the intermediate floor, the doors are automatically closed, the machine goes to the landing level, ignoring other incoming commands.

Restoring daily transportation is possible by turning off the fire protection and returning to the original position of the “Network” toggle switch.
