AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Westlake KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • Picking a childcare center was a hard decision. I toured countless facilities with none of them feeling right. When I came to KinderCare in Westlake I found a very child friendly environment and outgoing staff. I chose KinderCare for their ratio, environment and accreditation status. I have found so much more here though. They care for my daughter as if she is one of their own. They even cuddle with her when she is having a rough day. They are very sensitive to her personal needs. I know I chose the right school because my daughter has become a happy, outgoing, independent little one who lights up when she sees her teachers and friends!

    Trish M.

    – KinderCare Parent

  • Our daughter really loves being Westlake KinderCare. She always gets a big grin when we pull up to the front door, and she’s squirming to get out of her car seat when she sees the door to her room. Everyone is so great! We are thankful every day to have such a wonderful place to help take care of our daughter!

    Chris P. – KinderCare Parent
  • Our family has been a part of the Westlake KinderCare for almost eight years, starting with our first child, when she was three months old.  Both of our children have attended since they were infants, up until their graduation to start Kindergarten.  The amount of time our family has invested, and trusted, to the staff of KinderCare speaks for itself, in terms of caring for our children.  From infancy up through Pre-K the children are learning at their developmental levels; they are actively engaged and stimulated!  We always loved that about the center; that no matter the age of a child, there is a curriculum in place to engage them and help them grow.   It was apparent that our daughter was more prepared for Kindergarten than her peers, due to what she learned in her Pre-K class, and we are confident that our son will be just as prepared, when he begins Kindergarten this Fall. Our children formed close bonds with their teacher, and, as a working parent, this helped having to be away from them during the day.  The staff communicates well and are willing to work, as a team with parents, as new developmental stages bring new challenges!   We are happy with the way our children have grown and learned so much, as our last child now moves on to the next journey of elementary school!

    Mary S. – KinderCare Parent
  • We had the pleasure of sending our son here for 3.5 years. We moved recently away from Westlake and already miss it. Our son was treated like a king with loving teachers that really knew him and made sure he was taken care of emotionally and cognitively. Each day we were given a summary of what occurred during his day, what he learned, what and how he ate, how he slept, and also a personal note – for example something he really enjoyed doing that day, building a train, drawing a volcano, etc. I loved reading them! The teachers really focused on his strengths and what he did well, provided detailed examples of how he was progressing, and at the same time, were not afraid to tell us if he did something not in line with expectations on a certain day. The center directors really value security here, are friendly, and go out of their way to say hello and bye each day. They also had an occasional “parent’s night out” option for daycare and did “playdates” where kids could meet outside the center at, for example a park, on a weekend. Thank you KinderCare Westlake!

    Brian K. – KinderCare Parent
  • KinderCare Westlake has been our children’s home away from home since they were infants. The teacher’s have nurtured our children, encouraged them to explore and fostered their love of learning. We love the variety that KinderCare offers from phonics and reading to cooking and music; each day is a new adventure for our kids. KinderCare has been a very special place for us over the last 6 years and always will be. Our children will continue to benefit from their KinderCare experience as the enter their life’s next chapter.

Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re

will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

Interactive Kindergarten (5–6 Years)

Kindergarten is a critical year for young learners. Experienced KinderCare teachers will
tap into your child’s natural curiosity to help get them even more prepared for
elementary school. Our engaging lessons make the most of current technology while
offering plenty of hands-on play and exploration.

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a

  • Wonderful place that focuses on social skills education. Caring teachers and staff that, unlike other “schools” for pre kindergarten children, do so much more than just babysit the kids.

  • My son and I love coming to KinderCare. My son is almost 3 and he’s been coming to KinderCare for the past year and we are so happy. We love his teacher. Not only is it educational, its fun. The kids learn while having a great time and they don’t know they are learning. The Director of the school Ms. Danielle is wonderful and very accommodating to every child’s needs. I highly recommend this school to any parent!

    Mary A. – KinderCare Parent
  • KinderCare in Westlake provides a nurturing educational environment for little ones to grow and blossom. Our son loves it so much that he sometimes is upset on Saturday that he can’t go to school. The staff is very responsive to all needs and concerns. They provide little report about what your child did that day, even for the older kids. I love feeling connected. The academic program promises to have the kids ready for kindergarten.
