AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

West Windsor KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community.  Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)

Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • From the first meeting with the Director, to parent-teacher conferences, to daily interactions, we have been very appreciative of the center’s commitment to education. The Director, Ms. Liz, is a talented leader who runs the center smoothly and is fully invested in the organization, her staff and the children. It is apparent that employees are held to the highest standards of childcare, and there are truly gifted educators on staff. Our teacher, Ms. Viera, has been most caring, loving, attentive and supportive of our daughter’s continued development. She has gone above and beyond to support our bilingual daughter’s assimilation into the group. In a few months, our child has gone from not understanding a word of English to developing a vocabulary that enables her to interact with peers. As a parent, it has been reassuring and heartwarming to see Ms. Viera’s masterful teaching approach as she helped our child connect with the others in her group and develop better social skills, despite the language barrier. Our daughter has been learning new skills consistently, and her rapid progress is a testament to the quality of education she is receiving.

Crown season 5: description of episodes

The action of the fifth season of the series “The Crown” takes place in the 90s, which became a turbulent time for the British monarchy. In just 6 years, there was a terrible fire at Windsor Castle, a change in the conservative government, three divorces in the royal family, the publication of scandalous books and interviews, and the tragic death of Diana. The Queen named 1992 annus horribilis (“terrible year” in Latin). 30 years later, the whole world is in the same state: we have experienced many losses, and one of them is the death of Elizabeth II herself on September 8th. This sad event incredibly increased interest in the TV series The Crown, so everyone was waiting for the fifth season with impatience and awe. Whether he justified the hopes of the audience or left a feeling of bitter disappointment, let’s figure it out together. nine0004

The Crown Season 5 Official Trailer

The Queen Victoria Syndrome

As with previous seasons of The Crown, Peter Morgan draws on historical facts and archives. The plot of the first episode revolves around the yacht Britannia, which belonged to the royal family and since its launch on April 16, 1953, has made about 700 foreign visits. After such a serious run, she needed an expensive repair, but the government is denying Elizabeth II the use of British taxpayer funds to continue to maintain the chic lifestyle of monarchs. nine0005

The creator of The Crown, Peter Morgan, thus speaks of the years that have passed since the beginning of the reign of Elizabeth. She ascended the throne in 1952 at the age of 25, and in the 90s it seemed that she sat there too long and it would have been more logical to abdicate her powers in favor of the young and energetic heir to the throne, the eldest son, Prince Charles, who had been on the throne all this time. low start and hoped that my mother would deign to retire. In the same period, The Sunday Times published a devastating article where it was written that Elizabeth had “Queen Victoria Syndrome” and she had been on the throne for too long. nine0005

Queen Victoria was called the “grandmother of Europe” because the marriages of her nine children brought her into several dynasties and strengthened her political ties. If Elizabeth spent 70 years on the throne, then Victoria was queen for 64 years and at the beginning of her political path she could not boast of popularity, only later becoming a cult figure for Britain. The period of the queen’s reign has been called the “Victorian era”: this is the time of the industrial revolution, the transition to a constitutional monarchy, huge population growth, the heyday of a strict moral code and the emergence of the concept of “gentleman”, a boom in art and literature. A cross section of the era can be found in the works of authors who lived and worked in those years: Dickens, Thackeray, the Brontë sisters, Conan Doyle, Kipling, Wilde and Carroll. British folklore in the nineteenth century is recounted in The Superstitions of Victorian England by Catherine Couty and Natalia Harsa, and Ruth Goodman writes about everyday life in How to Live in the Victorian Era. nine0005

System

The royal family has always been the envy of life, but season after season The Crown debunks the myth that being a queen is all about wearing beautiful dresses and diamonds every day and waving a white-gloved pen regally at your subjects. Being inside the system, you can experience loneliness, but the main rule of the club is not to tell outside of it how bad it is for you to be a spoke in the monarchical wheel. Prince Philip often felt out of place and considered the position near the queen to be his own sacrifice for the sake of the monarchy (he himself was the grandson of the king of Greece and a descendant of the Mountbatten dynasty), but either because of better mental health, or his view of the world in the family he fought loneliness and sadness with the help of a new hobby – crew management, which he infected, including his godson’s wife. So Prince Philip found a partner for a fun pastime or a favorite, as journalists and ill-wishers gossip about Lady Romsey. nine0005

Diana, on the contrary, does not have a single associate in the castle, so when her childhood friend James Colthurst tells that journalist Andrew Morton contacted him and announced his intention to write a book about her and the royal family, the princess was frightened by in what light can she be exposed, having no influence and connections, being a black sheep in her own family. And then a whole operation is unfolding to provide the journalist with truthful information. James, during his visits to Diana, gave her questions from Morton, she wrote down the answers on the player and gave them back. Despite all the efforts of the royal retinue to prevent the publication of the book, the biography “Diana. The crown ” nevertheless comes out and finally draws a line between the princess and the royal family, shedding light on the relationship between Diana and Charles, the collapsed hopes for a happy future and life in the golden cage of Windsor Palace. nine0005

Mu Mu

The creator of The Crown, about the life of Queen Elizabeth II’s family, is best at coming up with solid stories like the third episode, which tells the story of Mohammed Al-Fayed (aka Mu Mu), who went from being a street vendor in Egypt to a wealthy businessman who bought the iconic Ritz Paris hotel. At the acquisition party, Mohammed ordered Dodi to fire a black waiter named Sidney Johnson. A man who, with the help of labor and perseverance, got everything he only wanted, for complete satisfaction, it was not enough to get as close to the august persons as possible. Therefore, having learned that Johnson was the valet of the Duke of Windsor, he returns him to his former position, so that he would teach him British customs and manners and help him get along with the royal family. nine0005

This episode of The Crown has become one of my favorites because of the amazing story of the valet and the intertwining of the 90s with Johnson’s years of service to Edward VIII. He can be called one of the most peculiar and rebellious representatives of the royal personages, films were made about his marriage to a divorced American and books were written, for example, “The Traitor King. The scandalous expulsion of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor”, “How to steal the king? The Wallis Simpson Story” and “A Past Without a Future. The History of King Edward VIII”, and about the brother of Edward VIII and the father of Elizabeth II, Mark Logue and Peter Conradi wrote the Oscar-winning story “The King’s Speech!” take speech therapy lessons to overcome his chronic stuttering and fear of public speaking. nine0005

Terrible year

1992 was a turbulent year for Elizabeth. Three of her children immediately asked for a divorce. Prince Andrew wants to separate from Sarah, Duchess of York after incriminating photos of her were published in the newspapers, Princess Anne declares her intention to marry Timothy Lawrence after the annulment of her marriage to Mark Phillips, and Prince Charles again pushes for a divorce from Diana after the publication Morton books. Unable to prevent the inevitable, Elizabeth, as the head of the Anglican Church, waived the prescriptions and agreed to give the right to a new life to all her children. And against the background of these dramatic events, her sister Margaret receives a letter from the love of her life – Peter Townsend. nine0005

In her youth, Elizabeth did not allow her to marry him, since he was already married and divorced his wife, so Princess Margaret, unlike Edward VIII, did not dare to go all the way and break all ties with the royal family for the sake of love , but, unfortunately, she could not find personal happiness. The journalist Andrew Morton, already known to us, wrote about the relationship of the sisters in the book “Elizabeth and Margaret. The Private Life of the Windsor Sisters, and for the beautiful scene of a short reunion of lovers, thanks to beloved Timothy Dalton, who brilliantly played Peter 35 years after his separation from Margaret. nine0005

Ipatiev House

Peter Morgan, creator of The Crown, talks about the tragic event that united the Russian Empire and Great Britain in 1917: the British government asks King George V and Queen Mary to support sending a warship to Russia to deliver the Romanov family – Tsar Nicholas II, Tsarina Alexandra, their four daughters and son Alexei to the United Kingdom. Georg shifts the final decision to the shoulders of his wife, and she … refused to help her relatives. At the same time, in the Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg, the Bolsheviks execute the Romanovs with terrifying cruelty, giving them a false hope of salvation. The scene of the execution in the basement of the house, which began with screams and insults, and ended with the finishing off of the Grand Duchesses with bayonets, is an incredibly difficult test for our last nerve cells, which have already seen a lot this year. Mikhail Zygar writes about the reasons for the emergence of the revolutionary movement in Russia and how Nicholas II not only did not prevent, but brought the death of the political system closer (note: recognized as an foreign agent in the Russian Federation) in his bestseller The Empire Must Die. nine0005

Then the plot of the historical series takes us back to the 90s, when the queen first receives Boris Yeltsin at Buckingham Palace, and then comes to Russia. For her return visit, the queen sets the condition for the exhumation and reburial of the remains of the Romanovs. Yeltsin agrees, and Prince Philip, whose grandmother is Olga Konstantinovna Romanova, granddaughter of Nicholas I, helps identify the remains through DNA testing, providing his samples. From Philip’s friend Lady Romsey, already known to us, Elizabeth learns about rumors about the true cause of the death of the Romanovs, in which her grandmother is to blame, who denied them political asylum. nine0005

Until now, there is a version that Maria of Teck had a dislike for the last Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, because they were both contenders for the role of the wife of Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence, and his grandmother, the same Queen Victoria, preferred Alexander to be the bride, and not her, and only the refusal of the first in favor of marriage with the future Emperor Nicholas II helped to arrange Mary’s personal life. Her future husband, George V, was the maternal cousin of the last Russian emperor, so their resemblance in photographs is striking. nine0005

Anna Vyrubova wrote about her memoirs about the everyday life of the imperial family, who corresponded with them until the last months of their lives. In her book “Pages of my life. Romanovs. Family Album” you can also see many photos that were published for the first time.

For Russian-speaking viewers, this episode of The Crown may turn out to be the most interesting, touching, and thought-provoking. First of all, at such moments I am interested in how foreigners portray us, how heroes are prescribed, and even though I found Yeltsin in power at an age when I had to go to kindergarten five days a week, in the stories of the older generation he was someone more than an eternally drunk uncouth man who, at a general photo shoot, mumbles with resentment at the queen: “We can put a bayonet in her ass too.” In the book “The Tsar’s Move”, journalist Ilya Zhegulev describes the mechanisms of power, summing up everything said by members of the Family – a narrow circle of Yeltsin’s close associates, who could influence what is happening in the country. nine0005

Also in his work “All Are Free,” Mikhail Zygar tells about the events of 1995-1996, when, recovering from a hospital bed after a heart attack, Yeltsin decides to run for president again in order to develop democracy in Russia and prevent the communists from led by Zyuganov to come to power again. To write his book, Zygar took several dozen interviews with people who both loved and hated Yeltsin, so the serial image does not really resonate with his description in books. After watching the sixth episode of The Crown, it’s impossible not to feel melancholy. Yes, Yeltsin was not perfect, but today he seems to be the closest to reality version of a democrat (well, perhaps after Gorbachev), who really tried to improve relations with Europe and rejoin the community of democratic countries, and at that time the UK really believed in a new start which seems especially sad this year. nine0005

Decommissioned

The Crown is still not only Netflix’s most expensive, but also its most successful show, especially this year when the Queen’s death sent viewership numbers skyrocketing. The stakes are too high, but Peter Morgan, who single-handedly writes the scripts for each episode, still maintains the highest level of drama – just like the scene with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip in the burned-out Windsor Palace.

This season of The Crown saw a change of actors who performed brilliantly in their roles (I was afraid that I would see Dolores Umbridge, but no, I still have Queen Elizabeth in front of me!), And these ten episodes are intertwined with one thread, where each of the heroes is ready to intensively dig the ground with his nails in order to achieve his happiness, even being in conditions where the possibilities for this are very limited. nine0005

Elizabeth Debicki, who played Princess Diana in the new season, perfectly conveyed the state of the heroine. Charles’s wife has already been brought to a boiling point and is ready to make a scandal of any scale, just to fly out of the golden cage, be able to overcome the feeling of loneliness and find love again. Prince Philip, talentedly played by Jonathan Pryce, is shown as an incredibly erudite and interesting man who does not want to waste a single day sitting by the skirt of his august wife and considers himself a self-sufficient person, worthy of an interesting life and pleasant communication. This season, even Prince Charles, who had not previously been saved from a hatred by the excellent performance of Josh O’Connor, was shown by Dominic West as a passionate and energetic man who loves a woman with whom he cannot be due to circumstances, and his country, which he ready to give his all and serve for the benefit of its prosperity. nine0005

Related content: Uncanny Valley: Why The Hobbit Lost The Magic Of The Lord Of The Rings she is simply written off, the queen still does not resign. Imelda Staunton, who was often filmed from distant angles against the background of huge halls, the incredible scale of palaces, as if emphasizing her tinyness, showed an incredible reincarnation into Elizabeth, who still remains the stronghold of the monarchy in Great Britain, no matter what passions rage around her. nine0005

The last episode does not end with a cliffhanger (from the English cliffhanger ending – an artistic device when the narrative breaks off at some particularly dramatic moment, leaving the viewer in limbo), but leaves a feeling of understatement. Therefore, we will look forward to the last, sixth season of the series “The Crown” about the famous English queen, in which we will at least see the moment of the tragic death of Princess Diana, but also, perhaps, the events of the twenty-first century associated with the grandchildren of Elizabeth, as well as some tribute to the monarch, who passed away in September of this year. nine0005

New cast

Imelda Staunton replaced Olivia Colman in The Crown. Like her predecessors, the actress will portray Elizabeth II for two seasons of the historical drama. Staunton is well known to the Russian audience for her role as the villain Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter series.

Leslie Manville played Princess Margaret in the fifth season. The actress was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in Phantom Thread. Manville also appeared in the films Maleficent, Let Him Go, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris. The performer of the role of the sister of Elizabeth II in the fifth season of the series “The Crown” is a three-time nominee for the Laurence Olivier Award. nine0005

The image of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was embodied on the screen by Jonathan Pryce. The actor is best remembered for his role as Pope Francis in the Netflix original series The Two Popes.

The heroine Lady Di appears in the series only in the fourth season – from the scene of meeting Prince Charles. Young Diana was played by Emma Corrin. Many viewers found the resemblance of the 25-year-old English actress to the daughter-in-law of Elizabeth II striking. In the fifth season, Emma Corrin was replaced by Elizabeth Debicki. The actress is a multifaceted personality with a rich inner world. Before devoting herself to cinema, playing Princess Diana, starring in Steve McQueen’s Widows, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, and other high-profile films, Elizabeth Debicki was seriously passionate about ballet and theater. nine0005

The actress made her film debut in 2011 (in the film “Wedding Crash” by Stephen Elliot). Elizabeth Debicki was brilliant as Maureen’s wedding planner. It was thanks to this work that Baz Luhrmann drew attention to the girl. The famous Australian director was just recruiting actors for his new project The Great Gatsby. Baz Luhrmann immediately invited the aristocratic Elizabeth Debicki to audition and approved the role of Jordan Baker, a socialite. After the release of the film on the screen, the career of the actress rapidly went up. But recognition in theatrical circles was much more desirable for Elizabeth Debicki. And it didn’t take long either. Thanks to her role in the play The Gift, the actress was nominated for the prestigious The Sydney Theater Award. nine0005

According to Rebecca Nicholson, in real life, Elizabeth Debicki “doesn’t look like her dark and aristocratic characters at all. She has a mobile facial expression, she actively gesticulates and is quite restless.
Elizabeth Debicki has won the Australian Film and Television Academy Award multiple times. And in 2018, the actress was awarded the Trophée Chopard Discovery of the Year at the Cannes Film Festival. Mischievous Marvel fans will surely remember Elizabeth Debicki as the Golden High Priestess of the Overlord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. nine0005

The height of the actress is 190 cm. The appearance of Elizabeth Debicki in the fifth season of the series caused a lot of gossip. After all, the height of Princess Diana is only 178 cm. By the way, Dominic West, who plays Prince Charles, is shorter than Elizabeth (183 cm). And this is where the details matter a lot. In real life, Princess Diana was the same height as her husband. Therefore, she was forbidden to wear heels during public meetings with Prince Charles. Such a detail, of course, could not go unnoticed. Therefore, the creator of the series “The Crown” was accused of “flirting with realism.” nine0005

Anyway, Elizabeth Debicki did a great job with her role. Andrew Morton, after watching the film, said that Princess Diana in the fifth season of the series “The Crown” struck him to the core. The famous biographer noted that the actress masterfully conveyed the character of the “queen of human hearts” on the screen. Here is what Morton writes about this: “I am amazed at how faithfully Elizabeth Debicki played Diana. It was like being in the same room with her 30 years ago, a little unnerving. It was like seeing a ghost, which speaks for itself.” nine0005

The actor who played Prince Charles can handle a variety of roles. His detective Jim McNulty in the TV series “The Wire” won the hearts of viewers around the world. Dominic West has been nominated twice for the Golden Globe Award.

Johnny Lee Miller, who played Simon Williamson in the cult film Trainspotting, got the role of Prime Minister John Major. “While the choice of an actor may seem questionable at first glance due to the apparent inconsistency of the two personas, the creators of the series are not interested in an actor who would simply play one of the versions of himself,” a Sun source clarified. “This decision can be compared to when Sex Education star Gillian Anderson was chosen to play Margaret Thatcher in the last season of the series – fans of The Crown were very surprised.” nine0005

Earlier it was reported that the role of Prime Minister Blair will go to Andrew Scott (Professor Moriarty from Sherlock). But the creators of the series “Crown” have not yet commented on this information.

The prime minister in the fifth season of The Crown is very friendly with actors Jude Law and Ewan McGregor. Together with them, Jonny Lee Miller founded the Natural Nylon company, which lasted until 2004. The famous actor is the owner of the Laurence Olivier Award. nine0005

The First President of the Russian Federation in the fifth season of “The Crown” was played by Anatoly Kotenev (who starred in the films “Escape from the Gulag”, “Secret Fairway”). The role of Naina Yeltsina was played by Marina Shimanskaya, familiar to Russian viewers from the Squadron of Flying Hussars, Take Care of Women.

In the fifth season of The Crown, the younger members of the royal family also appeared. Senan West and Will Powell played the roles of the sons of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

While the premiere of the fifth season was under way, the film company had already begun filming the continuation of the drama. The next part of The Crown should also include Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince William. nine0005

What to read after The Crown? Books about the life of the royal family

What can be in common between a simple resident of Toronto and Elizabeth II? It would seem that nothing, but exactly until the moment when Heather Mackenzie discovers a curious similarity between the embroidered flowers she inherited from her grandmother and the decoration of the legendary dress that the queen wore on her wedding day. London, 1947 Despite the victory, the inhabitants of post-war Britain are on the verge of despair due to the devastation and scarcity that prevails in the country. Among them are grandmother Heather and her friend, embroiderers from the famous Mayfair fashion house. Their nascent hopes for a bright future and difficult trials are described in a historical novel “Queen’s Dress” when they are given the highest honor – to create a wedding dress for Princess Elizabeth.

Diana and Charles. A lonely princess loves a prince…” is a book about the main Cinderella of the 20th century. A simple kindergarten teacher managed to win the love of an entire nation. But Diana failed to melt the heart of her husband Prince Charles. The story of “the uncrowned queen of human hearts” is often described as a beautiful fairy tale with a very sad ending. Thousands of fans still visit the site of the death of Princess Diana. Books and films are dedicated to Lady Dee, songs are composed in her honor. Popular author Sophia Benoit tells the story of the development of the relationship between Diana and Prince Charles in a new way. nine0005

“Lady-in-waiting. My Incredible Life in the Shadow of the Queen is a frank and moving biography of Lady Anne Glenconner, describing the history of female friendship and life in a golden cage, as well as shedding light on the secrets of the royal court.

Thanks to her noble parents, from childhood she was a member of the family circle of the future Queen Elizabeth II, and communicated with her sister, Princess Margaret. Throughout her long life, Anne was close to the royal family: she was present at the coronation of Elizabeth II and was the maid of honor of Princess Margaret until her death in 2002. On the pages of Anne Glenconner’s memoirs one can find stories about friendship and duties at court, personal tragedies, failures and losses of those years when Anne continued to accompany the royal family around the world and develop the Caribbean island of Mustique, which became a favorite haven not only for Princess Margaret, but also for the world. celebrities. nine0005

Princess Diana. Queen of human hearts. What she was trying to tell us with her images” Eloise Moran is a heartfelt visual-psychological biography of Lady Dee. The author of the book studied a huge number of photographs of the wife of Prince Charles. According to Morgan, a carefully thought-out strategy was hidden in every image of Lady Dee. A kind of “silent message” to the world through style. The book carefully deciphers the most touching and spectacular images of Princess Diana. When writing a unique biography, Moran relied on interviews with Lady Dee’s stylists. nine0005

New York Times and The Sunday Times Worldwide Bestseller Harry and Meghan. Choosing Freedom Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand tell the true story of the split of the most popular royal family of our time. The beloved grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and a little-known American actress who had previously experienced an unsuccessful marriage and divorce. A love story that, as if from the time of Edward, was not supposed to have a happy ending and the blessing of the family. In their book, journalist Scobie and producer Duran debunk rumors about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and reveal the true reasons for the quarrel in the Windsor family, renunciation of titles and escape to the United States. nine0005

It is impossible to imagine modern history without Elizabeth II. She stands apart from other politicians, if only because none of the British monarchs (except Queen Victoria) has ruled for so long. Having ascended the throne in 1953, Elizabeth II saw how the world changes year after year, borders collapse and shift, how stars are born and fade away, how kingdoms rise and disappear without a trace. No one has touched the world in the way that Elizabeth II did.

She visited almost all countries of the world, got on the cover of Time at the age of 3, worked as an ambulance driver during World War II, became the first monarch to visit Australia and New Zealand, talked with US presidents and leaders of the USSR, treated her to tea the first cosmonaut Gagarin, and her portrait flaunts at least 15 banknotes from different countries. The book of the British writer, journalist and documentary filmmaker Robert Hardman will tell about the secret and explicit life of Her Majesty “Elizabeth II. Queen of the World” .

Collection of Natalia Kapitonova “British Prime Ministers. Political portraits” was written on the basis of an extensive theoretical base. It includes memoirs of famous diplomats and politicians, foreign policy and party documents. The book tells about the British prime ministers of the second half of the 20th and early 21st centuries. M. Thatcher, T. Blair, J. Major were very bright and controversial figures in politics, who left a noticeable mark on British history. The biographical sketches presented in the work give the reader the opportunity to trace the activities of prime ministers against the backdrop of the most significant events of those times. nine0005

A significant part of Kapitonova’s book is devoted to the activities of Margaret Thatcher. Under the strong leadership of this Prime Minister, Great Britain has made significant progress. The author highlights such qualities of the “iron lady” as perseverance in achieving the goal, perfectionism, punctuality and composure. The author’s reflections on the “Jeanne d’Arc complex”, characteristic of the Prime Minister in the opinion of some of her colleagues, are very interesting. The name of Margaret Thatcher’s successor, John Major, is associated with such important events as the signing and ratification of the Maastricht Treaty, the beginning of a multilateral negotiation process in Northern Ireland. The domestic policy of the Prime Minister was called “Thatcherism with a human face”. The author calls the characteristic qualities of Major the willingness to compromise, the ability to get along with people. Kapitanova emphasizes that this prime minister, unlike Margaret Thatcher, “was not afraid.” nine0005

The Sunday Times Bestseller by Andrew Looney The Traitor King. The scandalous expulsion of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor , already mentioned in the article, is a frank biography of the most controversial and scandalous couple of the twentieth century. The story of a British king and a divorced American shakes the world in 1936 when the newly minted King Edward VIII abdicates for the sake of the woman he loves. Their relationship was accompanied by numerous scandals that were supposed to end after the wedding. But, as history has shown, this was just the beginning. nine0005

The relationship of this couple was romanticized by writers and directors, but was everything so smooth in the family of a German spy who sympathized with Hitler and supported the Nazi regime, and an eccentric American woman caught in numerous intrigues in her marriage to the former king? Historian Andrew Loney dives into archives and interviews hitherto unknown to the general public and unmasks the ducal couple.

When you think about what the British culture has given the world, the incredible stories about talented detectives come to mind. Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, but the heroine-investigator in the novel by S. J. Bennet “Windsor Knot” will amaze the imagination of the most demanding reader. No joke, the investigation is conducted by Queen Elizabeth II herself.

The color of good old England – ceremonial, arrogant, sarcastic and majestic – in all its splendor.

The main intrigue – the investigation of a crime – is staged in the best traditions of a classic English detective story, where everyone falls under suspicion, tension lasts until the last page, and the butler is clearly hiding something. No, really, Queen Elizabeth II is investigating the murder of a Russian pianist in her own castle. How can you miss this?! nine0005
