Year ‘Round Day Care

Our facilities are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and are designed to serve the year ‘round child care needs of the families from the local community and staff of Holiday Valley. 

Our main day care facility offers everything from infant care to pre-k programs,  which are centered on playful and age-appropriate, educational activities.  We are also provide before and after school care for school age children up to 12 years old. 

Space and availability is limited. We recommend that parents contact us early to inquire about availability. We maintain a waiting list based upon priority, registration date and space availability for each age group.

We currently have year round, full and part week child care availability for newborn infants and children ages 3 years and up.

We also currently have summer full and part week availability for children ages 3 years and up.

Ski Season Day Care

Winter Season Day Care is open winter weekends from December 17, 2022 to March 19, 2023 for children ages 6 months to 6 years. Located inside the Holiday Valley Lodge, ground floor.

Limited enrollment available – so please book early! Making your reservation a week or more in advance is recommended. Reservations are required, please call (716)699-3933. Please note, a Child in Care Medical Statement is required.

All reservations require the Child in Care Medical Statement to be completed by a licensed physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant. The form can be faxed to (716)699-3971 or emailed to us by clicking here prior to the first day of day care.

Day Care Staff

Our Center staff are trained in CPR and First-Aid, have training in developmentally appropriate practices, and have prior experience in childcare. Our qualified staff members provide a program of appropriate and fun-filled activities and projects throughout the day. 

Important Details

  • If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you register. If you would prefer to bring your own food, all food must be completely nut free, as we are a nut free facility. Food containing nuts or from a factory where nuts are used will be thrown away immediately, guests will not be reimbursed.

  • In order to provide the best care for your children, we separate the children based on age and development. The caregiver ratio in each of the classrooms complies with the New York State Child Care Facility Licensing standards. (1 to 4 ratio for infants, 1 to 5 for toddlers. 1 to 7 for preschoolers). 

  • Please leave items home that are not necessary for care. We are not responsible for broken or misplaced toys/items brought to the center.

  • Children must be picked up by 5PM. Late fees will be charged for children picked up after 5PM.

Full Day Program

  • Hot lunch and two snacks provided for toddler and preschool

  • Water or milk provided

  • Nap/Rest time, if requested by parent

Half-Day Program

  • One snack provided

  • Water or milk provided 

  • No nap/rest time

What to bring

All children have assigned cubbies for the day for storing personal belongings. Our staff will label belongings as they are being used throughout the day. We highly encouraged you to label all belongings brought to the center in advance to expedite drop off and pick up processes.

  • Wipes if specific kind needed

  • All outdoor snow gear (jackets, hats, gloves, snow pants, boots, etc) if participating in a ski lesson

  • Indoor shoes (optional)

  • Comfort Items such as blankets, pacifiers, stuffed animals, etc. 

Parents of Infants must provide:

  • Bottles

  • Formula/Breast Milk

  • Baby food

  • Snacks

  • Diapers

  • Wipes

  • Change of clothes

  • Diaper rash ointment if necessary

Illness

  • If your child had a fever, cough, diarrhea, or vomited in the past 24 hours prior to your reservation start date they may not attend. 

  • Note: Your child must be fever-free, without medication, for a full 24 hours before participating in our programs.

 

 

 

 

No babysitter? No problem! These places offer drop-off fun for kids

It can be a hassle, and expensive, to hire a babysitter for the night so you can get away with your partner for a few hours.

But making time for one another and adult conversation is important. These drop-in childcare resources make even weekend errands and spur-of-the-moment date nights a little easier.

Arizona Sunrays Kids Night Out. Ages 3-14 (must be potty-trained). Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics & Dance hosts a drop-off Kids Night Out from 6-10 p.m. the first and third Saturdays of each month at the original Phoenix location and monthly at the brand-new Arcadia facility. It also hosts occasional sleepovers. Supervised, themed activities include gymnastics, a foam pit, trampolines, bounce house, obstacle courses and organized games. Harkins Theatres PlayCenters. Ages 3-8 (must be potty-trained). This idea is genius. We only wish there were more Harkins Theatres with PlayCenters. For $6, kids can eat popcorn, watch kids movies, play with toys, do arts and crafts projects, read books or play video games while Mom and Dad enjoy a film that isn’t animated. PlayCenter staff members are childcare professionals who are background-checked. Walk-ups are welcome, but reservations are recommended. KidsPark. Ages 2-12. This drop-in daycare facility in Peoria and north Phoenix offers weekend hours, so you and your spouse can enjoy a dinner that doesn’t involve chicken nuggets. KidsPark typically offers themed events — from dance parties to talent shows — on weekends. $8-$9 per hour for one child, with discounts for siblings. 7337 W. Parents Night Out at Impact Gymnastics Academy. Parents can occasionally enjoy a night out while kiddos, ages 4 and up enjoy games, open gym, the ninja zone, foam pit and more! Parent Survival Night at the Little Gym. Ages 3-12. The Little Gym locations in Scottsdale/Paradise Valley and Gilbert offer kids supervised play time from 6-10 p.m. on select Saturday nights. You can’t leave the building, but if you sign your child into Ikea’s free supervised play area, you can enjoy an hour of sanity while shopping and a salmon or Swedish meatball dinner in the cafeteria while your child plays in a ball pit or has fun with Ikea toys. 2110 W. Use our service: GIVE YOU A DAY OFF AND YOUR CHILD A HOLIDAY that, due to their work schedule, a person is forced to go to work on weekends. Very often people are faced with the question:

With whom to leave the child on the day off?

It’s good when you can rely on your grandmother, who will come to the rescue at any moment and take care of her grandchildren. However, this is not always the case. In this case, there is another way out – this is a weekend group at the Happy Childhood entertainment house in Balashikha. We are always glad to our little guests and are ready to surround them with attention and care on weekends. Parents, at their request, have the opportunity to bring their child for the whole day or only for half (first or second). Adults can calmly go about their business and not worry about their children, they will have fun and really spend time in our institution. nine0020

A fun weekend for the benefit of the little ones is a reality.

The teachers of our children’s center made sure that the children liked us, so they have a lot of interesting educational games in store that delight our wards and do not go unnoticed. The day is designed in such a way that the kids have fun, but not tiring, so games that require perseverance and attention are replaced by active activities, and during the break, daytime rest with sleep. At the end of the day, the kids have fun in the play maze that they love so much. The cooks also make their efforts, they make sure that the kids are full and periodically offer them tasty and healthy food to refresh themselves. nine0020

The use of modern techniques by experienced teachers allows our little guests not to notice the absence of their parents, even if they do not attend kindergarten yet, and have fun in our children’s early development center. Small groups allow everyone to get their due attention, so that everyone feels comfortable.

Weekend Schedule:

Saturday: 8:00 – 20:00

Sunday: 8:00 – 20:00

Half-day visit is possible (from 8:00 to 14:00 or from 14:00 to 20:00)

The cost of visiting for a full day is 2500 rubles, half a day – 1500 rubles.
