A Christian home away from home, our child care center is a healthy, cheerful place to learn and to grow. We believe in the scripture Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they grow old they won’t depart.”

We have tons of games, educational toys, art centers, music centers, kitchen areas and reading areas. Self-help and independence are encouraged in accordance with the child’s age. We believe parents and the center should work together closely for the benefit of
the child.

Our play rooms are supervised by these certified Canine Coaches, and your dog will be in a playroom where he or she is surrounded by dogs of similar size, temperament and play style as well as those who are fully vaccinated and have passed our Dogtopia evaluation. Your dog will be in very capable hands during their time with us!

We have taken every precaution when it comes to the design of our 4,000 square foot facility. Each of our three spacious indoor playrooms is fully equipped with climate-controlled HVAC systems that maintain the perfect temperature during both play time and nap time. Our UV filtrated systems keep the air circulating and clean to prevent airborne viruses and illnesses.

Your pup will also feel comfort on our compressed rubber flooring that is specially designed to be gentle on their paws and aid in the long-term joint and paw health of your furry family member.

At Dogtopia of Town Center, we are committed to creating a safe and clean environment, which is why we thoroughly deep clean and sanitize our playrooms multiple times a day with biologically safe, pet-friendly cleaner.

DOG CARE PROFESSIONALS

You can trust that your furry family member is in the most capable hands with our highly trained team of dog lovers. Each of our team members has undergone a minimum of 40 hours of rigorous training, designed by a canine behaviorist, on dog body language and behavior. Our team knows how to recognize even the most subtle dog body language, and handle dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments.

Dogtopia of Town Center has earned certification status as a Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM facility. The Heroes for Healthy Pets^TM Certification Program in Infectious Disease Management provides training for preventative care, including strategic vaccination, and cleaning and disinfection protocols to help maintain disease-free facilities and keep pets healthy.

The program is co-sponsored by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International, VETgirl, and Barkleigh Productions.

We proudly serve pet parents from all over Virginia Beach. We’re conveniently located in Town Center, which is packed with great amenities including restaurants, retail shops, a coffee shop and more. We are next to The Cosmopolitan Apartments at the intersection of Columbus Street and Central Park Ave. We are steps away from Town Center’s Blue Garage, with convenient entrances and exits on Columbus Street and Town Center Drive, with the first level restricted to 2 hour parking suited for our customers drop off and pick up needs. You can find us off the 264 Interstate at the Independence Blvd exit or off of Virginia Beach Blvd. Our shopping plaza has plenty of customer parking for your convenience.
