Altynsai Kindergarten opened in Shebalino | News of Gorny Altai

On Wednesday, February 1, a kindergarten “Altynsay” was opened in the village of Shebalino. This is already the 18th kindergarten in the Altai Republic, which was commissioned under the national project “Demography”. The national project involves the construction of 21 kindergartens for 2,360 places from 2019, which will make it possible to achieve 100% accessibility of preschool institutions, the press service of the government reports.

“We have practically completed this task, there are still three kindergartens left to complete – a large kindergarten in Gorno-Altaisk is already ready, as well as kindergartens in Ongudai and Kyzyl-Ozek,” the head of the republic emphasized at the opening of the kindergarten Oleg Khorokhordin .

The new kindergarten in Shebalino will be attended by 125 children, including 60 toddlers. The pre-school institution will completely solve the issue of the queue for kindergartens in the district center. “For the village of Shebalino, this is a necessary and long-awaited social facility. It has been under construction for just over two years. Among other things, funds were allocated as part of an individual program for the socio-economic development of the Altai Republic,” said the head of the region.

Comfortable conditions for children are created in the kindergarten. There are playgrounds, a speech therapy room, a psychologist’s office, a medical unit, a laundry room, a vegetable store and storerooms. Also, according to a single brand book, the Altai language classroom is equipped.

The gym is equipped with playgrounds, sensory balls, tactile tracks, a gymnastic wall and much more. The music hall has modern equipment: an audio system, interactive panels, musical instruments.

In the kindergarten it is also planned to introduce a program of additional education for children in physical development “School of the ball”, to open circles “Theater chest”, “Financial literacy”, to conduct classes with a speech therapist teacher, a teacher-psychologist.

“Last year we also started building a new school for 250 students here. I am sure that many children who attend the Altynsay kindergarten today will receive further education at the new school,” Oleg Khorokhordin noted.

Chairman of the State Assembly Committee on National Policy, Education, Culture, Public Associations and Mass Media Natalia Ekeyeva addressed the participants of the event .

She stressed that the national project for the construction of kindergartens is being successfully implemented in the republic. According to her, earlier the deputies noted the need to create a program for the repair of preschool institutions. This proposal was supported by the head of the region, Oleg Khorokhordin – from 2023, a regional program for the overhaul of kindergartens will start in the Altai Republic.
