About – Tiny Tots Indoor Playground

Mission Statement: Our goal is to provide a safe and creative playground environment for tots through the cooperation of Tiny Tots families.

Tiny Tots is a member-based, nonprofit indoor playground co-op, where families supervise their kids at play and help organize the operations of the facility to make it the best environment for our kids. In return for a yearly membership fee, members have unlimited access to our indoor playground boasting over 1,000 square feet of indoor play for tots aged birth to 5 years.

The playground is open six days a week through the morning and early afternoon and one evening every week for family night. Though we cannot accommodate drop-in visitors to the site, we encourage non-members to contact us at [email protected] to schedule a tour.

Tiny Tots is more than just a place to play! Many events are planned throughout the year, from story times and playgroups to community on-site activities. We also have a few open-to-the-public events during the year where non-member families can come and check us out!

History

The Tiny Tots Co-Op was founded in 1989. As the cold weather approached, a group of Eugene/Springfield area families got together and imagined a safe and dry place for their children to play during the many months of rain. The Tiny Tots Co-Op was born! The Founders’ goals still ring true today. However, families come to play in all types of weather. It’s a wonderful place to relax while you watch your child/ren knowing there are four walls to keep them safe. A great place for expecting or new moms, families without a support network in the area or those just looking to socialize and meet other families with children their age.

The Playground

Our Eugene playground is filled with climbing structures, toy cars, bikes and scooters, blocks and balls. Ride the roller coaster, smile while see-sawing, walk on the balance beam or pull your friends around in a wagon. Kids can cook in the kitchen or fix things at the tool bench. Infants can crawl around exploring toys and cuddling with family in a rocker. Hang out in the snack area with friends while you re-energize with snacks or lunch. There’s even a designated diaper changing area.

The Co-Op Model

We work to create a very supportive and loving environment for all families and their children. The Co-operative can only be as successful as its members, so it’s up to everyone to respect each other and the rules of the playground.

You will discover a camaraderie with other Tiny Tots parents who can relate to your struggles and successes with your kids. This is a fantastic place to share tips, seek out information, share time with other adults, and have fun with your children and their new friends.

Game elements that should be present on the playground for kids

The time has passed when in the courtyard of a residential building you could only find a lopsided carpet beater, a broken children’s slide, as a rule, located in the middle of the entire courtyard space and several benches. A children’s sandbox with a fungus was that rare game element that was installed only in large yards. The kids really could not play in the yard, it got to the point that they themselves had to look for options for games or go to another yard.

Let not immediately, but the government of our country, finally got around to our children and they decided to start landscaping yards and children’s leisure in particular. About 3-4 years ago, municipal programs for the construction and development of courtyard territories began to appear in large cities, this niche also included children’s playgrounds, which began to appear after the entry into force of this program. The playground is always equipped with game elements for outdoor games – carousels and a rocking chair – a balancer, which are clear leaders among this category. Roundabouts can be of several types – with seats, designed for a certain number of people, or sectional, more versatile and frequently used. A rocking chair – a balancer, although not installed in all territories, is always actively used by kids. At the moment, factories – manufacturers of children’s equipment produce balancers, making the game for children as safe as possible. Especially for this, shock absorbers are installed under the seats of the rocking chair – balancer.

Sandboxes are very fond of the smallest among those playing on the playground. In the sandbox, kids sculpt Easter cakes, build sand castles, in a word, they spend a lot of time. Basically, sandboxes with a fungus are installed on the territory. The fungus serves as an additional protection for babies in case of heat or bad weather.

The gameplay will not be so interesting without the houses installed on the playground. The playhouse has many features that will diversify the process. Some children’s houses are equipped with game scores that make the child think and reason during the game. Houses are very often installed on the territory of preschool institutions, they are not so common in the courtyard space.

The landscaping of yard areas is a rather complicated process that requires close preparation and painstaking work in the selection of playground equipment. Many developers are racking their brains when organizing the arrangement of a playground in the yards. In fact, this process has long been automated.

Playground for children of all ages Treasure Island

What is Treasure Island like? How to get there? What attractions are there? What are the toys? And what animators work? And how often is the cleaning done? Now we will try to guess your questions and answer them.

Treasure Island is a real country of children’s entertainment, where there are cities – different playgrounds, their own inhabitants – our little guests, their own rules, traditions and their own huge history.

Let’s go back to the past…
Our entertainment project was born back in 2011 in the city of Cheboksary. Then it was just small playgrounds with trampolines and a couple of outdoor attractions. Then we began to grow and began to open new entertainment centers. So in 2015, the first Treasure Island appeared in Kazan. At first we worked in the XL shopping center, then we opened in the Gorki Park shopping center, and in 2019 another park was opened – in the Olimp shopping center. But, unfortunately, the site in the Olimp shopping center had to be closed permanently in 2020 due to the pandemic.
And in March 2021, a new extraordinary Treasure Island appeared in the Park House shopping mall. Here we decided to implement a new concept of entertainment – a dry water park, with a sea of balls and slides.

Treasure Island Team
We employ over 50 animators. You may think that this is a lot, but it is not at all! Indeed, during the operation of the Igropark, animators must monitor the safety, cleanliness and mood on the site, for this, sometimes 10-12 people can work in a shift. Therefore, for the work of several games at once, we need a friendly strong team of experienced animators.

Three Igroparks and each one is different in its own way. We will tell you more about each Treasure Island.
Area in the shopping center XL. An excellent place for a family holiday for residents of the Novosavinovsky district of Kazan. Here, every little guest is waiting for a sea of entertainment on an area of more than 1800 sq.m. And among the attractions are such popular and beloved by everyone: trampolines and a foam pit, a battle zone with cannons, a bungee ride, a labyrinth with slides, an autodrome, a huge railway, a ball pool, an interactive full-wall touch screen, air hockey, a sandbox and even a salt cave with a halogen generator , which releases salty sea air. On the site in the XL shopping center there are 6 banquet halls for holidays with a cool unique design and furniture.

The site in the shopping center Gorki Park. The entire gaming area of the Treasure Island in the Gorki Park shopping center is divided into 3 sites.
Playground 1 is for children from 0 to 4 years old. This is what you need for kids and their parents. It is cozy and calm here, as well as all the rides and toys are designed for the development and games of young children. A trampoline, a mini-maze, a sandbox, rocking chairs, carousels and slides – everything is designed so that visiting the playroom is safe and interesting for kids. Many mothers choose this site for the first trip to the playroom. In the area for kids there is a large and bright banquet hall, so you can arrange a great birthday here.
The 2nd playground is for children over 5 years old. In this part of the game, a festive atmosphere constantly reigns, the animators conduct active games, and the children have a great time on the rides. Giant Volcano slide, cheesecake slide, helicopter carousel, cannon battle arena, huge wall-to-wall interactive touch screen with hundreds of games, inflatable trampoline and grasshopper trampolines, labyrinth, fishing, climbing wall and much more. And for the holidays there are 2 cozy and spacious banquet halls.
Playground 3 is also for kids over 5 years old or over 100 cm tall. This is the newest play area and it’s so cool here! Lots of slides, a tall maze, a sea of balls, a trampoline arena, a battle zone with cannons, a huge interactive full-wall touch screen with hundreds of games, a ribbon maze – kids who love outdoor activities will be delighted. This play area also has banquet halls for children’s parties – stylish, modern and comfortable. And yet, the feature of one of the halls is that it is located on the second tier of the park, and from here a cool view of the entire playroom opens.
Venue at the Park House mall. In this park you will find a new concept of entertainment – a real dry water park. There is not just a dry pool here, here the whole space is completely – these are balls that, like waves, cover!
Among the entertainment – 10 different slides, a high climbing maze, a giant ball pool, inflatable pillows, toys, a trampoline, a zorb, as well as a pneumatic maze and other cool entertainment.
In order to celebrate a birthday in the Park House there is 1 banquet hall “Tropicana”. Here you can also bring any treats and drinks with you.

Security
Visiting the Treasure Island is possible for children of all ages (admission is paid for children from 8 months). Each child in the Igropark must be supervised by an adult escort. This is necessary to maintain security (1 accompanying person passes for free). The animators of the Igropark carefully monitor that the guests of the Treasure Island use the rides in accordance with all the rules of operation.
