Early Birds Pre-K
41778 Corte Lara, Temecula, CA 92592
Starting at $25/day
Description:
My goal is to offer your child a perfect balance of learning, play, socialization, and fine motor skill building in order to be a step ahead when entering kindergarten. Your child’s safety and self-esteem is mypriority.
Here at Early Birds we will master the skills of learning the alphabet, counting, seasons, days and months of the year and knowing how to write their full names, address and phone numbers. In this process children will exercise and build their muscles and fine motor skills using scissors, crayons, painting and sorting. They will recognize numbers and letters and begin to put letters together and recognize and spell words. We will read, listen to music and use crafts and play time to reinforce the daily lesson plans.
We will problem solve and team build together. Children will be edified in their accomplishments in this learning journey. We will work on sharing and feelings to reinforce character and social education. Through group activities children learn to follow directions, practice routines, take turns and develop friendships that are essential in kindergarten.
When children begin kindergarten with strong social and emotional skills, they are more likely to have a successful transition.
If this sounds like an atmosphere that you would like your child to be enrolled in please contact me as space is limited and fills up quickly.
Please ensure that your child is up to date with all vaccinations so there is no delay in the enrollment process.
I look forward to meeting with you and your child so that we can work together as a team to prepare for the next educational phase of their academic lives.
Respectfully,
Lynette Ramos
Director…

We are an in home day care providing care to children newborn to age 5! It is a startup made by my sister Christina and I – she is 25 and I am 20, we are both CPR and first aid certified and have years ofexperience in child care….
Description:
I am a licensed in home child care facility. The children that are enrolled here witness diversity, and they learn acceptance of each other as friends. I begin pre-school learning activities at 18mo-20mo(depending on the childs ability to communicate). For example, I have a four year old who has a year before entering kindergarden, his mother took him to enroll in pre-school, they turn him away because he was already prepared, and the school wanted children enrolled who need the help.
I make sure the children have well balanced meal at every sitting. All meals will have a fruit, a vegetable or both. The children have snacks in between meals, and they have water and 100% juice with their meals. I also make sure my parents have a date night, which is about every 3 months. This is a free night because I have a pajama party, where I invite all children enrolled in Searcy Family Child Care.
It is imperative that parents communicate with the provider, and the provider with the parent. So, not only do I speak with them on pick up about their childrens day, but I also have a time where we meet or have a cookout where we get to know each other and keep it open.
The amount of time the children are allowed to watch T.V. is minimal, because the activities involved in a day amounts to, too much to sit in front of the boob tube for 10hours. However, we do incorporate movie’s from time-to-time and even sometimes during quiet time….

The Director of Curriculum has a Bachelors Degree and over twenty years experience being a part of the Kid’s World and Van Avery Prep administration. All teachers are qualified and experienced educators in the field of Early Childhood Education and Child Development. All teachers are CPR certified and have a current live scan on file.
What is the school’s turnover rate for teachers?
The majority of our staff has been part of the KW team for eight years or more. Some of the teachers have been teaching at Kid’s World for over thirty years!

How is discipline handled?
At Kid’s World we take a positive approach towards helping students make good choices. First and foremost the overall tone between student and teacher is one of respect. Teachers make clear what the expectations are so children clearly understand what they can and cannot do. If a conflict should arise we use it as a teachable moment to talk things out with the child. Sometimes positive redirection will be recommended or a time to cool down and refocus.

Yes, Kid’s World operates year round and offers a summer camp program for the months of July and August. A yearly calendar is available and depicts the National Holidays the school is closed.
Will my child be safe?
We take the safety and security of your child very serious and do all that we can to ensure a safe and secure learning environment. In doing so we have low teacher to student ratios so we can properly supervise the children both indoors and outdoors. All students must be signed in by a parent upon drop-off and must be signed-out by a parent at pick-up. Students are only released to their parents and/or someone authorized to pick up your child. Safety drills are practiced monthly.
Do the children wear uniforms?
No, the children do not wear uniforms at Kid’s World. They do however wear uniforms at our elementary school next door, Van Avery Prep.

Our schools pride themselves in providing a quality education. It is our mission to guide children in developing their full potential in an environment that is committed to preserving the legacy of Dr. Maria Montessori. We provide a variety of developmentally appropriate learning activities in a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment.
Our staff works together to teach children the importance of these values; honesty, cooperation and respect are just a few that are taught throughout the year. Our primary goal is to help children reach their full potential by encouraging curiosity and creativity. Under the supervision of a trained educator, the child chooses what helps him/her to become a person with a love for learning, resulting in independence, confidence and growth.
Traditional Montessori – with a modern approach
We believe that the children learn through a carefully prepared environment where they are able to grow their own natural talents. All subject areas are blended together to compose an extraordinary educational experience where children work freely in a structured environment. Within this framework the children progress at their own pace and rhythm according to their own capabilities.
At Montessori, we aim for every child to have the opportunity to:
- Explore their own curiosity and creativity
- Discover vital cognitive skills, supported by our innovative staff
- Attain educational success to create a brilliant future
- Utilize play to create learning opportunities

“Our children, Adam & Chloie (boy/girl twins) have been attending the Temecula Montessori since they were 2 years old (now 5 and about to start Kindergarten). Between the two of them, they have participated in every classroom with every teacher at the school over the last 3 years. We have been so happy not only with the school’s Montessori program and our children’s academic progress, but more importantly with the teachers and staff that have given our children such wonderful love and attention. Whenever I pick them, my kids make a stop at every teacher there as we are leaving to get/give hugs. Not only would I highly recommend this facility to everyone, I would highly encourage them to give it a try. The Montessori method of teaching is amazing and it works to the benefit of every child – that is the beauty of it. I am grateful that our children are blessed to be part of such a wonderful school as Temecula Montessori.”
Megan Reyes
“Temecula Montessori is wonderful! My daughter has been going here for the past 3 years and loves it. The teachers are so sweet and patient. It is also individualized so my daughter is continually challenged”
Gabrielle Reyes
“I have 3 wonderful girls that have attended Temecula Montessori Academy. My youngest is still currently attending and will be starting the Kindergarten program this fall. When my two older girls left the program they had excelled in all areas of the public school curriculum. If you are looking for a program that exceeds in academics and has a staff of loving and nurturing teachers, then TMA is the place for you!! ”
Sarah and Joseph Woodbury
“As a parent I would highly recommend Temecula Montessori. The Montessori way of learning not only focuses on good academic skills but also teaches the important lessons about the world we live in, how to respect each other, and how to act outside of school. Knowing that my child is safe, having fun with good people and learning is one of my highest priorities. Temecula Montessori will make a profound, extensive and positive impact in the life of your child and your family. It is a very warm and loving environment. Both my boys enjoy going to school, and love their teachers. I know this school has made a major impact on the start of my boys education. Thank you to all Montessori teachers for the care and dedication you give to all your students!”
Courtney Qually
“Montessori has been such a wonderful blessing in our lives. My daughter has been going here since she was 12 weeks old and I have loved every day she’s been here. She is always happy & excited when we arrive and is so eager to show me her new skills learned at school. As a full time working family, I’m so grateful to the teachers and staff for their kindness and hard work nurturing my little girls development. I know they play a huge roll in the amazing and smart little one she has become. Thank you Montessori!”

Wine Tour
The wine country of the Temecula Valley, with its first commercial grape varieties planted in 1967, has numerous tasting rooms and over 3,500 acres (14 km2) of vineyards. The wine country lies a few miles east of the Old City of Temecula. Southern California wine country in the Temecula Valley has about 50 local wineries, including boutiques and full-service wine resorts. The region’s laid-back and unpretentious atmosphere is combined with its delightful tastings overlooking picturesque vineyard hills and tastings of award-winning premium wines and Southern California cuisine.
Temecula Valley wine country is a surprise: gentle hills covered with rows of vineyards, so close to the Californian desert. This is a diverse growing region, with everything from cooler climate grapes like Chardonnay to warm varieties like Syrah and Grenache.
About 50 wineries use these conditions, and as a result, many awards have been received, which, of course, you can try. One of the oldest wineries in the region, Callaway Vineyard & Winery (first run by a family of golfers) was founded in 1969 and offers both a large tasting room and cellar tours where you can sample wine from barrels.
Head to Europa Village and sit on the patio to enjoy Cinsaut wine, made from grapes commonly grown in the south of France; The winery is also home to a 10-room B&B and a new Spanish Bolero winery with a tapas restaurant and 10 casinos. Head to the cellars of Leonesse, located along the countryside known as the De Portola Wine Trail, and take one of the vineyard tours, then enjoy melange de blanc or Grenache by the open fireplace in the patio.
Many wineries are places of interest in their own right. At Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards, try their Petite Syrah and stroll through the grounds to see thousands of roses and other flowers, or book a local estate that seats 24 for a wedding or reunion.
Meanwhile, the Briar Rose Winery is hosting its tasting room in a replica of the Seven Dwarfs’ Cottage from the movie Snow White. The wines here are also unique – for example, the sparkling Talking Frog, a mixture of Viognier and Hefeweizen beer.
Hot Air Balloon Rides
Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Southern California’s unique topography, beautiful estates and spectacular scenery with sunrise flights available year-round (weather permitting) to explore the subtle seasonal changes that occur throughout the valley. Nothing beats the bird’s eye view you get when you fly high in a basket. All year round, hot air balloons take off at sunrise, usually for an hour’s flight.
Colorful balloons are a common sight over the vineyards of the Temecula Valley, passengers soar above the vineyards and citrus groves, and the sky fills with the scent of fresh oranges. Embark on a Magical Adventure hot air balloon ride and upon landing, enjoy a champagne toast and hors d’oeuvres; a trip with A Grape Escape ends with champagne and a light breakfast in the garden of one of the wineries.

In 1797, Father Juan Norberto de Santiago and Captain Pedro Lizalde, along with seven soldiers and five Indian guides, reached the Temecula Valley. The group was looking for a place to establish another mission. It was then that the holy father made an entry in his diary about the discovery of “an Indian village called Temecula” [14] . In 1845, the last governor of Upper California, Pio Pico [en] , granted a certain Pablo Apis Rancho Little Temecula [en] an area of just over 9 km² [15] [16] . In 1882, the Pechanga Indian Reservation was established with an area of about 16 km², about 13 km from the town.
In 1904, the Temecula Ranch, Little Temecula, and several neighboring ranches were bought by one Walter L. Vile. In 1906, he died in an accident in Los Angeles, but his son, Malon, who, together with other patrons, founded and opened the First Temecula National Bank in 1914, continued his business. In 1910, the Catholic parish of Saints Catherine and Alexandria was founded in Temecula, and in 1917 a chapel appeared. Due to the growth in the number of parishioners, the church soon moved to another place, and this chapel was sold to the Old City Museum for one dollar [17] . In 1915, the first paved two-lane road appeared in the town. By 1947 Malon Vile’s holdings were about 354 km², centered on Temecula. In 1948, a dam was erected that blocked the Temecula Creek [en] and created the Vile Lake Reservoir [en] (area about 4.5 km², volume 42–63 million m³), which solved the problem of water shortage in Temecula [18] . In 1964, the Vayle Ranch was sold to Kaiser Aetna partnership [19] . The property was soon expanded to 395 km² and named Rancho California . In the early 1980s, the I-15 freeway was built through Temecula, which led to a sharp increase in population: in a decade, the population of the town increased more than 15 times, from 1.8 to 27.1 thousand people.
In 1989, the first church of non-denominational Christianity appeared in Temecula [en] [20] . December 1, 1989 settlement Rancho California was incorporated as Temecula (70% voted for this name, less than 11% voted for Rancho California ) [21] and city ( city ) [22] . In 2005, the area of the city and its population increased dramatically (to 90,000 people) due to the annexation of the nearby settlement of Redhawk [23] [24] . In 2010, the mark of 100,000 inhabitants was overcome. On May 15, 2015, in the city, in the Pechanga casino, a mixed martial arts competition Bellator MMA 9 was held0636 [25] [26] .

We base comfort level on dew point, as it determines whether sweat will evaporate from the skin, cooling the body. A lower dew point makes you feel more dry, while a higher dew point makes you feel more humid. Unlike temperature, which typically varies significantly between day and night, dew point tends to change more slowly, so while temperatures may drop at night, a wet day usually gives way to a wet night.
The perceived humidity level in Temecula, measured as the percentage of time during which the level of humidity comfort is characterized as damp , stuffy or heavy , does not change significantly throughout the year, remaining within 1% of 1 all the time %.

Method
For every hour between 8:00 and 21:00 of each day in the analyzed period (from 1980 to 2016) independent scores are calculated for perceived temperature, cloudiness and total precipitation. These scores are combined into a single hourly summary score, which is then combined into days, averaged over all years of the analyzed period, and smoothed.
Our cloud score of is 10 for completely clear skies, falling linearly to 9 for mostly clear skies and 1 for completely overcast skies.
Our precipitation score of , which is based on three-hour precipitation centered on the hour in question, is 10 for no precipitation, falling linearly to 9 for light precipitation, and to 0 for 1 mm precipitation or higher.
Our temperature score for tourism is 0 for perceived temperatures below 10 °C , increases linearly to 9 for 18 °C , to 10 for 24 °C , falls linearly to 9 for 27°C and up to 1 for 32°C or higher.

Temperature and dew point
There are 5 weather stations close enough to help us estimate the temperature and dew point in Temecula.
For each station, the data are corrected for the difference in altitude between the station and Temecula according to the International Standard Atmosphere, as well as for the relative change in MERRA-2 satellite-era reanalysis between these two points.
The estimated value for Temecula is calculated as a weighted average of the individual data from each station, with weights proportional to the reciprocal of the distance between Temecula and the given station.

Other data
All data related to the position of the Sun (such as sunrise and sunset) are calculated using astronomical formulas from Jean Mius’ Astronomical Algorithms, 2nd Ed. .
All other weather data, including cloudiness, precipitation, wind speed and direction, and solar energy flux, are taken from the MERRA-2 New Time Retrospective Analysis. This reanalysis combines various measurements over a wide area in a modern global meteorological model to reconstruct hourly weather history around the world on a 50 km grid.
Land use data are from the SHARE Global Land Cover Monitoring Network database published by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
Altitude data is from the Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission (SRTM), published by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
The names, locations and time zones of places and some airports are from the GeoNames Geographical Database.

The information on this site is provided as is, without any guarantee of its accuracy or suitability for any purpose. The weather data may contain errors, glitches and other defects. We are not responsible for any decisions made on the basis of the information provided on this website.
We pay special attention to the fact that for a number of important data types we rely on reconstructions based on the MERRA-2 model. With huge advantages in temporal and spatial completeness, these reconstructions: (1) are based on computer models that may have typical model errors, (2) use coarse sampling on a 50 km grid and therefore cannot reconstruct local variations in many microclimates, and (3) experiencing particular weather difficulties in some coastal areas, especially on smaller islands.
We also caution that our travel points are only as accurate as the data on which they are based, that the weather conditions in any particular place and at any time are unpredictable and changeable, and that points calculation reflects a certain set of preferences that may not coincide with preferences of the individual reader.
