June 2015 • Family vacation
Must visit. We were a family, the price is acceptable, about $54 per person. The park is huge, it is advisable to devote a couple of days to it. 12 year old and dad are thrilled

The spur of the moment trip to the park turned out to be very pleasant, despite the hot temperature!
July 2017 • Family fun
They offered free glasses of ice water from any market stall to help find the heat and keep people hydrated. The staff didn’t hesitate to serve those complimentary glasses of water, and they did so with a smile, which is rare these days. As a long term visitor to this place, I really like the new and old parts of the park they kept. I haven’t been in a few years so a lot has changed, but it was still “my” favorite Six Flags that I’m grown up with now. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

It was only a HOT DAY but the kids enjoyed most of what they could. They didn’t have time to ride everything they wanted because it was very hot.

New Joker ride was closed
July 2017 • Traveling alone
New Joker ride was closed from at least 10:30 p. m. to 4:00 p.m. because it was too “hot” according to a park worker on the trip. It was 101 solar degrees and no rain. Someone told me that it was closed already in the afternoon. I and other people really wanted to ride it. Other rides were closed temporarily but reopened and I’ve heard people complain about rides being closed. I just went to Fiesta, Texas and all rides were open to close all day, so Six Flags over Texas needs to improve in that regard. Other than that it was a great time.

This is another average park
July 2017 • Family fun
This park is nothing special. Short trips long queues nothing to write home about. Not particularly clean flower beds, very weak. Just nothing special about this park. I can find tons of better ways to spend hundreds or less and more fun stays with my family.

Very Cool rides and fun water park!!
July 2017 • Family Fun
My 3 kids love going to Six Flags over Texas and Hurricane Harbor. Really great to visit all the amazing rides in 6 Flags and then take a dip in the lazy river and slides in Hurricane Harbor. If you know when to choose your visits, you can avoid the longest queues!! Worth it, being a season ticket holder is the only way to get there. We took an Uber ride from our neighbor hotel to both parks and saved a bunch of $$ and long walks compared to parking at amusement parks. The only way to return!

Very Disappointed
May 2019 • With friends
I have played this golf course as long as it has been open. I have never seen this course in worse shape. The greens are horrible and most of the tee boxes are even worse and not much grass. With the rain and cool weather we have had it’s unbelievable that this course is in this bad a shape. They are charging $55 for weekday green fee and around $70 for weekend not worth it. Save your money and play some place else. The city of Arlington needs to get this course back in great shape or lower the green fees.

Sadly, Tierra Verde is not the golf course it used to be.
Apr. 2019 • With friends
I was very disappointed in the condition of Tierra Verde golf course on a recent visit. I have always considered this course to be “Premier Course” in the DFW area. The greens are in bad shape. Weeds growing on the greens and bare spots on the greens. The bunkers are in need of maintenance.

This course is a pleasant track for almost any golfer. The course was in great condition and provides challenges yet fun for the average golfer. Would play again if in the Arlington area.

As of 4/12, this course is in horrible shape. The greens have been punched and sanded and have numerous weeds and bare spots. Fairways are mostly mowed weeds. NONE OF THIS IS MENTIONED WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR TEE-TIME. Additionally, the rates are not in line with this poorly conditioned course. Other Tarrant County courses, e.g., Southern Oaks, Waterchase, Fossil Creek, and Sky Creek Ranch are without question better value for your money.

A challenging course for all player levels
Nov. 2016 • With friends
Located in SW Arlington, Tierra Verde Golf Course is a diamond in the rough. The course is very well maintained. Greeters will meet you at your car with a cart. The clubhouse contains a fully stocked pro shop and restaurant.
The course is very playable if you can hit a straight drive, avoid bunkers, water hazards, woods and nature areas. We say plenty of wildlife this past week.

Top Track! You would never know it is a “Muni.”
Apr. 2016 • Couples
Any discriminating golfer will love this track!
Grill has GREAT food.
One warning: much of Course is tree-bound. When TX gets its insufferable summer heat — especially in JUL & AUG — very little air moves. If you play TIerra Verde in the summer season, dress really cool; don’t drink alcoholic beverages; and, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! It seems to hold the heat in worse than most of the other area courses.

Best Menu in the area
Oct. 2015 • For two
he menu is wide and offers many unique options. While the sandwiches are very good the fish is always something I enjoy at a few places. Never greasy and staff seems to focus on the food where they are proud what they serve,

TEE SHOT IS EVERYTHING HERE 2015 • With friends
Nice, well groomed course with the best greens around Arlington. The carry on your tee ball will be a challenge unless you are a low handicapper, so be prepared to have a high score. Good pro shop, friendly staff, good restaurant with good waitresses. The golf marshals pester you some, so take it in stride, they are just exercising their authority to move the crowds along. Get a lesson from Amy Fox. Good, long course!
