After lunch the weather made the guys happy. They played outdoor games at the school stadium. The day went great!

June 12 – Day of Russia

June 12, our country celebrates an important public holiday – the Day of Russia. This is one of the “youngest” public holidays in the country. The holiday was officially named only on February 1, 2002. Now the Day of Russia is a symbol of national unity and common responsibility for the present and future of the Motherland. We live in a country that has an amazingly beautiful name – Russia. The guys of our camp approached this event responsibly: they taught patriotic songs about Russia, prepared attributes, decorated windows.

June 14 – a festive concert dedicated to the Day of Russia

Today a festive concert dedicated to the Day of Russia took place in our camp. The guys became active participants in the quiz “Do you know…?”, named state symbols, sang the Anthem of Russia.

June 15 – the day of the game

    June 16 – Newspaper Day

On this day the children learned a lot of new and interesting things about children’s magazines. The very first children’s magazine appeared almost 250 years ago in Germany. It was called The Leipzig Weekly Leaflet. In Russia, the first magazine – “Children’s Reading for the Heart and Mind” was also published in the 18th century, in Moscow.

After lunch, a fashion show was held in the school sports hall for all teams. The guys made and showed costumes from the newspaper. The day was fun!

    June 17 – Music Day

    Oh Music, brilliant cascade!

    Your heavenly verses resound.

There is not a drop of deceit in you,

You are in the singing of violin, harp and organ.

Your voice is in the dance, in the round dance,

And the heart and soul are in nature.

Oh Music, you are here and there.

Salute to you, O Music, salute!

Today the children of our camp played an interactive game “Guess the melody”. It was fun and interesting! After lunch, everyone together went to the exhibition of traffic police equipment, organized on Marad Sey Square. A detachment of gifted children organized outdoor games in the forest. All the children found activities according to their interests.

June 20 – Day of Professions

On June 20, pupils of the “Rainbow of Childhood” camp opened the “door” to the world of professions. The children learned that a person in his life is constantly faced with the problem of choice. Choosing a profession is one of the most serious, most important life decisions. Thinking about your future profession is useful. It means asking yourself a lot of questions and finding the right answer. The children were actively involved in the cognitive game “Do you know?”, learned about professions that have almost disappeared, about professions that appeared only at the beginning of the 20th century, and about professions of the future. The guys presented themselves as artists working at a confectionery factory. They came up with and drew wrappers for their favorite sweets.

After lunch, the guys from our camp arranged the exhibition “My Favorite Animal”.

June 21 – Fun Day, Sun Day

On June 21, the children of our camp learned that since ancient times everything good and kind has been compared with the sun. The sun was deified, as evidenced by many traditions. During the day, campers played themed games, sang songs about the Sun, and participated in a fairy tale quiz. The culmination of the Day of the Sun was the “Magic Balls” holiday, where the children met with fairy-tale characters: Baba Yaga and Vasilisa the Wise, played the game “Rainbow Sun”. The day was fun and interesting.

June 22 – Day of Memory and Sorrow

One of the saddest dates in the history of Russia – June 22, 1941. For one Sunday morning, the peaceful life of the country was replaced by military everyday life. Ahead were four years of uninterrupted national feat. 1418 days and nights of blood and death, pain, bitterness of loss of the best sons and daughters of Russia.

The children of our camp took part in the district event “Candle of Memory” at the Eternal Flame. They honored the memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War, laid flowers at the monument. As part of the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, the pupils watched the documentary film “Children of War”, took part in the quiz “In the footsteps of the Great Patriotic War.”

June 23 – The Day of Secret Messages

Today the children of our camp learned the history of writing. Long ago, before people could write, letters were alive. If it was necessary to convey important news, then they sent a messenger (runner). On all roads there were tavern houses, in which two “fresh” runners were always ready. The Indians of South America invented the knot letter. They took a thick rope, tied a fringe to it, thin multi-colored laces of different lengths. Ancient Egyptian writing was pictographic (writing with drawings). In ancient times, they wrote on clay and wax tablets, parchment. And the first envelopes for messages appeared quite recently, at the beginning of the 19th century. Invisible ink is needed to hide your message from others, and the guys learned their recipe.
