AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

South Street KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community.  Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • I am a single mom of three children and do not know what I would do without the amazing staff at KinderCare. I work full time and count on the ladies at KinderCare to not only educate my children, but to love and care for them as well. The teachers go above and beyond my expectations. Each day I am greeted with a smile and the teachers always make sure to take a few minutes to welcome the children in to the classroom. My kids feel safe and love their time at school. The benefits of early childhood care are endless. I have seen this first hand through the growth of my children.

  • March, 15th, 2010 To Whom It May Concern: I just want to say thank you to the KinderCare on South Street in Anaheim. We have been attending this daycare for about 2 years now. I love it and so does my foster son. He is 3 years old and has special needs, and this center has provided the best care for him.I feel really comfortable leaving him there. The teachers are great with him. They really work with him and his developmental needs. Even though he is not in the other classrooms, the other teachers are always greeting you with a smile. That makes me feel good about where my son is and who he is with. I fully trust this center with my son and am fully comfortable leaving him there. I know he is getting the best care ever and he is safe, Always! I want to thank Ms. Summer and Ms. Alina, and of course all the teachers, for all of the support they have shown me and my family since day one. Thanks Again KinderCare.

    Julie T. – KinderCare Parent
  • March 1st, 2010 Dear Summer, I want to send a quick note to tell you how happy we are with [our girls’] development. As you know, we started attending KinderCare back when the girls were only 5 months old. My Husband and I were so apprehensive because: 1. There are two of them and we could barely handle them ourselves. 2. They were breastfed and hated the bottle, so we were so worried about their mild intake. 3. We were the typical first time parents full of anxiety at the thought of leaving our girls out of our care. Now that they are over a year old, we’re so happy with how they have adjusted and know that they have so much fun there. Both girls are walking, babbling, saying a few words, eating well and making friends. All of the credit goes to every single one of the teachers in the infant room. The staff does such a good job of making sure that my husband and I are fully aware of everything that the girls have done throughout the day. The girls are so comfortable with the teachers, which makes us feel less anxious about leaving them for the whole day. We want to thank you for all that you and your staff does for our family, I am available if another potential parent would like to speak to someone that has gone through it…twice. Thanks again.

Anita and Doy K. – KinderCare Parent
  • Welcome new comer! My name is Vanessa and I’m a proud mother of 5 kids, which all attend KinderCare. My two younger kids started in the Infant Room, (room 1,) and let me tell you, the teachers are excellent! They change your baby’s diaper when needed, (I never had a child of mine sent home with a diaper rash.) They feed the babies when needed. They change the baby’s clothes when needed. You would know everything your baby did for the day, because they write down everything from feedings, naps, diaper changes, and any activities. The Toddler Room, (room 2,) is fabulous also. My child was starting to learn colors and shapes through songs, so they can remember them better. They also write daily reports, so you can know what your child does for the day. The Preschool Room, (room 3,) is another good class. In this room, not only are they learning colors and shapes, but they get potty trained as well. They also start tracing letters from the alphabet and their name. They get to go outside and burn some energy. Then they come inside and take naps. Room 4 is Prekindergarten. Here they start preparing for Kindergarten. They get homework packets. They do fun activities, have story time, get a snack, and have free time. Room 5 is Kindergarten. The kids do all the above, plus they get to work on the computer! At the end of the year, they have a graduation! During the summer, KinderCare has a day camp with a bunch of fun activities for all ages, (my kids look forward to the summer camp every year.) I tell everybody I can about KinderCare because you’ll be happy with the results of you kids. You’ll find that they are more advances and ready for First Grade. I hope to see you there.

    Vanessa – KinderCare Parent
  • My name is Ruben and I’m a single father of two little girls: a seven year old and a four year old. Both girls started KinderCare when they were infants. There was a period of time when I had took them out because of a job change. At that time I needed to find a local day care within my area. “Name of which I will not mention,” was a dirty, disorganized child care center, and its staff didn’t seem to really know what was going on. For the fee and service my kids were getting, I felt there had to be something better. I called around checking prices and the best priced place I found was Kinder Care in Anaheim. As a single father of two girls I need to know that I can go to work and that my kids will be safe – learning and improving while I’m at work. So I decided to move back towards KinderCare. I pay about the same as I did at my last day care but get a lot more for my kids and myself. Peace of mind is something hard to find these days. They are willing to work with you as much as they can and are always willing to help. My youngest was attending a different daycare for approximately eight months before I took them elsewhere. She was at the point of needing to learn how to spell her name, which the daycare never taught them. Within her first month at KinderCare she was already spelling out her full name. My oldest was given an option to go to her after school daycare where all her friends are or KinderCare…she chose KinderCare. I’m very happy with their service, help and peace of mind I get every day I drop off my kids.

    Ruben A. – KinderCare Parent
  • My name is Yazil, I am the mother of a four-year-old, and we have been having an amazing experience with KinderCare. We started our journey about a year ago, when I was forced to switch my hours at work and location. I had to search for a new daycare center for my son. I went to visit many centers and KinderCare definitely stood out from the other centers. Nothing matters more to me than my son’s health and safety. I want my son to develop social skills and stay physically healthy but have fun while doing it. I expect the facility where I decide to leave my son for a full day to be neat, organized, and well managed. Cleanliness and care are also priorities. KinderCare has really demonstrated that they are not the same as any other childcare center. They keep their facility well maintained, the staff and management are very polite and professional, and best of all, they are very involved with the parents. KinderCare has shown they care for each child individually. My son gets welcomed every morning when he arrives, and they say bye to him when he leaves. This has helped my son feel more comfortable when I leave him there. The teachers are always involved with the parents. They provide us with a daily sheet that summarizes what our children do all day. They summarize what topics the classroom went over and what activities they did. They let us know what our kids ate and if they napped. This report is my favorite because it’s a great topic-starter at the dinner table, but it also lets me be involved with my son when I’m not around. I go over their daily activities with him, and it’s fun to talk to him about the new things he has learned. KinderCare has really developed my son into a social bug. He was very shy when he first came in. He would hide behind me when someone would talk to him but now he’s opened up and even offers to help others. He tells me he has fun everyday and never comes home grumpy or in a bad mood. He loves to be around other kids too. He loves it when I come to his school and hang out with him for a couple of hours when they have activities going on where parents can join as well. My journey with KinderCare has been amazing. I have nothing bad to say about this facility. They have really exceeded my expectations. I hope your journey is as great as mine.

    Yazil C. – KinderCare Parent
  • I just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful job you have done at KinderCare learning center. My children all enjoy the care and the dedication each and every day the staff members provide. I especially love how the ladies at KinderCare show genuine love towards my kids. It makes me feel much more comfortable that they are in good, hands and the staff treat them as if they were their own children. Everyday my kids come home with the coolest and most creative artistic work that we enjoy as a family, posting it on their toy-room wall. It’s amazing seeing how much they have learned this year in KinderCare. My four-year-old can perfectly spell and write her name. She also recognizes every letter in the alphabet and can perfectly count to some pretty high numbers for her age. My two-year-old speaks much better than most of my friends’ kids, and he can carry on a conversation as opposed to my friends’ toddlers, who are only able to say certain words or just point out what it is they want. Before coming to KinderCare my now six-year-old son was extremely shy and sensitive; he’s become a very outgoing and social boy, making new friends. My 10-year-old has become much more helpful at home and also enjoys being able to go to the learning center where she can read books, spend time with friends, and express her artistic creativity. I would definitely recommend your KinderCare in Anaheim to anyone that is looking for a trust worthy and reliable daycare. All you ladies are top-notch professionals: caring, loving, and very polite. KinderCare always greets me with a warm “good morning” and a happy “have a good day.” This establishment has everything any parent is looking and hopes for. I’m so happy to have my kids attending your KinderCare in Anaheim.

    Ana N. – KinderCare Parent
  • My name is Melinda and I am the mother of three. Two of my children attend Kinder Care, my daughter is in the toddler program and my son is in the school age program . I have nothing but great things to say about Summer and her staff. When you walk in you are always greeted with a warm hello and smile. I know when I drop off my children they are in good hands. On any given morning Ms Laurie is there to make drop off quick and easy. The children love her. My little girl runs up to her and gives her big hugs which tells me Ms Laurie takes good care of my little girl. Ms Laurie is not the only one there who make our experience great. Ms Suzanne makes sure the children get to school safe and on time another one my kids will run up to and give hugs to. All the staff there are hands on and work as a teams to care for the children. Ms Natasha, Ms Summer make sure the busses leave on time to pick up the children from school on time. No matter what time of the day you walk in the children and staff are interacting in new and exciting games or learning adventures. I would recommend kinder care to any body needing a good safe learning environment for their child or children. It’s not a daycare it a learning center with a lot to offer. If you are ever in the area stop by and see for yourself be sure to knock because the door is controls by a code lock that only the parents and staff have the code to another great safety feature in place at kinder care. So to Ms Summer, Ms Natasha, Ms Suzanne , Ms Laurie, Ms Daisy, Ms Lupe, and the rest of the South Street kinder care staff thank you for a piece of mind and the great job you do.
