RIAMO – 10 Nov. United Russia’s “Film Lessons in Schools” campaign continues in the Moscow region. A new format of classes has been introduced in Russian schools since January 2021, the press service of the Moscow regional regional branch of the party reports.
The initiative within the framework of the New School project is being implemented jointly with the Intelrost Center for the Development of Intellectual and Creative Abilities.
Within the framework of the Film Lessons in Schools project, 99 short films will be created, since a child from grades 1 to 9 studies for so many months. 43 films have already been shot in the regions and are ready to be shown.
Schoolchildren in the Moscow region not only watch instructive films, but also shoot them. The guys have already directed 2 film lessons.
Opinions
Deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma, regional coordinator of the party project “New School” Lidia Antonova noted that the project “Film Lessons in Russian Schools” is aimed at creating a system for educating children and youth. It is based on professional feature films for educational purposes for children. The system considers basic moral concepts and values.
“After watching film lessons, students discuss the meaning and content of the works, discuss issues, share their emotions and impressions, life stories. This format is interesting for the students themselves. And films do not leave children indifferent. Children especially like that film lessons are filmed according to the scripts of the same schoolchildren as they are. And students look forward to these lessons. Film screenings in the schools of the region will continue, they will be held throughout the school year,” she added.
Screenings in schools
In Khimki school No. 31 United Russia activists showed second-graders a short film Good Songs. The film tells about teenagers who, by their example, showed how to melt the ice of the heroine’s distrust of the world by simply starting to sing good songs in the train car.
After the screening, the students discussed the film and shared their opinions.
In Voskresensk, students of the school named after. S. Rybnikov watched and discussed the film lesson “Five days”. On the example of the heroes of the film, the guys saw that work should be creative and bring satisfaction. Then, together with a teacher-psychologist, a member of the United Russia party, Marina Anna, they discussed issues of friendship and mercy.
Film lessons were shown in a number of educational institutions in the Naro-Fominsk District. The “Era” tape was seen by students of the Vyshegorodsk boarding school for students with disabilities. For students of the Petrovsky school. Hero of the Russian Federation D. V. Mezhuev prepared a film lesson “Song of the Wind”. Students of the Selyatinsky school No. 1 watched the short film “Five Days”.
In Dubna School No. 7, first-graders studied the film “Mandarin” and then discussed the problems of respect for each other, honesty and the ability to express joy for another. The second-graders watched the film lesson “A friend in need will not leave”, where the main theme is the phrase: “if you can, help”. The third-graders were shown the film “Three Suns”, after which the guys thought about kindness and respect for others. High school students saw the film “Five Days”, which teaches understanding of the values of other people, the value of human life, the importance of creative work in human life.
Pupils of the Yakhroma School No. 1 watched and discussed with the Dmitrov party members the film “Great”, which tells about a girl with an amazing name Kalina and no less interesting nickname “The Rock”.
In the urban district of Serebryanye Prudy, a film screening took place in the cultural center “Heritage”. Together with the party members, elementary school students. Marshal Chuikov watched the film “Stesha”, which was filmed thanks to schoolchildren near Moscow. The film tells about ecology and protection of the environment. The heroine of the film – the girl Stesha – knows for sure what is dear to her, thinks about protecting animals and plants, about the need to love the land in which you live and protect the planet. After viewing, the children were invited to discuss the film and share their impressions and thoughts.
Representatives of the Lukhovitsk branch of United Russia, with the support of the education administration, also organize film lessons in local schools. Children are shown films that promote friendliness, respect, creative work, purposefulness, observation, honesty and mercy. In October, the guys watched the films “A Friend Will Not Leave You in Need”, “Three Suns”, “Five Days”, and first-grade students rated a video called “Mandarin”.
Schools of the urban district of Yegoryevsk also joined the action. Another film screening took place in the city school №8. Students of the 6th grade watched the film “Forever”, dedicated to the feat of Soviet soldiers and children in the Adzhimushkay quarries. The story starts on May 1942 years old and continues today.
More than 2,000 schoolchildren attended film lessons in Balashikha. Only in one gymnasium No. 3 for 2 months the lessons were held in all educational parallels, from the 1st to the final grade.
Short and instructive films will be shown in all Russian schools. In addition, each school can become the creator of such educational film material. Children become screenwriters, directors, actors and see the result of their own work.
