Through building character and independence, Second Home Child Development Center provides a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing environment that promotes lifelong learners.

At SHCDC, we believe every student is unique and an individual. That being said, every student will learn differently and at various paces. While in preschool, your child will learn social skills and the basics of the school environment that will be very valuable for their years to come.

Second Home Child Development Center excels, in great part, because of its education service provider, Choice Schools Associates. Choice is a family-owned, Michigan-based, education service provider with a team that is passionate about all things Montessori. Choice partners with charter school founders who desire to provide better educational options for children throughout the State of Michigan. They not only specialize in public Montessori charter school education, but also work with groups that are eager to provide specialized academic choices that are tailored to serve their own community.

For over two decades, Choice has carried out its mission to partner with school communities, empowering and equipping them to fulfill their unique mission. To date, they have been able to guide numerous different groups of founders through the charter school start-up and operation process, resulting in six unique public Montessori schools, two environmentally focused schools, seven traditional academies and one child development center.

Over the years, Choice has developed a solid curriculum that links their schools in the Montessori philosophy, but celebrates each communities uniqueness. Choice believes the Montessori education is one of the greatest gifts children can receive. Our teachers combine both Montessori and Michigan Department of Education school standards. These dual responsibilities help ensure that your child is receiving the best education they possibly can. About Us

The Second Home Adult Day Center is a warm and inviting place for people to come together and be taken care of. We are here to support the needs of those who are disabled or senior citizens who are covered by Medicaid health services. This is often seen as a step you can take before a nursing home or residential type placement, allowing you to stay at home more independent awhile longer.

​Our program offers many stimulating activities and field trips that add interest to each new day while providing supervision and individual attention in a safe, comfortable environment. This combined  with social interaction they might otherwise be lacking helps promote the health and independence of each person.

Contact us for a free day and let us show your loved a wonderful experience.  Your free day includes chef prepared breakfast & lunch, prepared to meet all dietary needs, free transportation to and from our facility, and includes full participation for all daily activities.

This allows you to experience a full day at our center, you can meet and get to know our wonderful staff and other participants!

We can help you with the application process! And for those who do not qualify for Medicaid, VA, or any other insurance plan, we have very affordable private pay rates! (Under Medicaid’s long-term care / HCBS program)

We also accept private pay clients as well. at $80 per day, all meals and activities are included.

Second Home Adult Day Care was founded to meet the demands of our community’s growing needs for the elderly and disabled in Colorado Springs.  Our center offers compassionate services designed to assist our clients while they continue to live independently and thrive.  We strive to promote independence, meaningful socialization, art and music therapy, activities, transportation (medical and non-medical), chef prepared meals, and a sense of belonging for our clients.   Our activities and outings (day trips away from the facility) are individually tailored programs and events.   We thrive to enhance the dignity, independence, happiness, and quality of life for seniors and younger adults with disabilities.  We would love to have you be a part of our family!

Our kindergarten is located in the greenest and most environmentally friendly part of the city Saransk on Gruzinskaya street, house 43.

Our private kindergarten occupies 1000 sq. m. of land, with equipped walking areas and a sports ground and about 318 square meters of building area, consisting of clean and comfortable rooms . Our kindergarten has its own boiler room, which guarantees optimal temperature conditions in the premises at any time of the year, under any weather conditions.

Our Kindergarten Neposedy is pleased to offer:

1. for your children from 1.5 to 7 years old three different age groups (1st group from 1.5 to 3 years old, 2nd group from 3 to 5 years old, 4th group from 5 to 7 years old -and years) supervision and care from 8.00 to 19.00 on weekdays.
2. 5 meals a day (like at home) according to all the norms and rules of SaniPin: breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner.

Elite kindergarten “Fidgets” in Saransk offers a rich educational program , developed in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard, which is aimed at the comprehensive development of the personality of a child of preschool age. Commercial Kindergarten within the scope of basic services offers:

• a wide range of health-saving technologies (oxygen cocktail, morning exercises, breathing exercises, herbal tea, finger exercises, hardening procedures, year-round walks and exercises in the fresh air, relaxation minutes, etc.)
