“Turn the people against the government!”. The teaching staff of the Kanibadam school is protesting – Avesta
January 8, 2014, 13:30
Avesta.tj received an open letter from the Kanibadam
journalist addressed to Zafar Abdullayev, the author of one of the publications on the site “Uff…
young techno-thieves”. The original article can be read here. The author of the article and the person interested in the proceedings were acquainted with it and gave
their comments. The text from Kanibadam was sent in the state language, and
was translated by the editors of the site on their own, since the senders did not provide the Russian
version. Read the original letter at the very end of publication
.
“Dear
Zafar Abdullayev! Your article “Wow…. Young tech thieves!” was discussed at the
meeting of the Pedagogical Council, the parent committee and the
trade union committee of the private school “R. Churaev”, which operates in one of the buildings
indicated in the publication, and our opinion is this.
Article
created in an office without reliable information about the current state of affairs at the school “R. Churaev. Because for the past five years as a kindergarten
No. 2 on the basis of which a private school was created,
is maintained, repaired and equipped at the expense of the parents of 450 students. Let’s take a look at those
materials that we have on hand to make sure what state
school was in five years ago and what it is now.
Aren’t the state policy and the leadership of the country
put in a bad light
because of such criticism of members of the Government and its structures? If you know
some interested persons in the government apparatus, then why don’t you name them
so that everyone knows about it? In addition, it is not for a person like you to show that the head of state is not aware of what is happening in his
apparatus. Such thoughts are an attempt to oppose the people with the state
policy and the government, and nothing more!
For your information,
it is the State Committee for Investments and Provision of State Property
has supported our school all these years and parents of students are grateful to this
department.
R. Churaev’s private school
having set up the educational process properly, achieved
that over these five years 15 students became winners of various republican and
local competitions, and one student took third place in the international mathematical
Olympiad in the city of Khokhoti (China ).
We are waiting for you
to provide additional information so that you yourself can
draw conclusions about this and demand a refutation on the site .. This text was supported by 29December
at a meeting of the parent committee and December 30 at meetings of the
Pedagogical Council and trade unions.
The author of article
Zafar Abdullayev, having read the letter of the parental staff of the school,
expressed his bewilderment.
“Among
we are accustomed to holding collective “angry condemning” meetings in the Soviet way,
however, still pay little attention to the laws of the country. I consider the claims within the framework of
of this “answer” untenable, since, firstly, in my publication I
in no way touched on the quality of content and, moreover, the level of teaching
in children’s educational institutions in Kanibadam, and secondly, the authors do not answer
the main questions – namely, the legality and expediency of the actions
of the State Property Committee on the privatization of these objects of preschool education.
As for the resentment
about the image of the president of the country in connection with my publication,
I think that this is a problem and the tasks of the relevant people in the
presidential administration and law enforcement agencies, whose reaction I am,
as a matter of fact, and I achieve. I recommend that teachers and parents continue to
indicate their initials and put signatures under collective letters in order to
show children an example of civic responsibility for their actions,
because the president you respect so much has long banned anonymous letters. You didn’t know?”
We
also received a comment from Yusuf Akhmedov, Chairman of the Board of OJSC Bodom,
whose problem is to a greater extent described in the article by Z. Abdullayev. Akhmedov
writes:
“Firstly,
kindergarten No. 2 was transformed into a private school precisely thanks to the management of
OJSC “Bodom” in 2008, which all these years supported the kindergarten and transferred it to
in good condition, as evidenced by the agreement between GKI and R. Juraev.
Secondly, I have been the director of the plant since 1987, and one of the pressing problems of that
time was the provision of preschool institutions for children. Since the state did not succeed in
in solving such social problems, the plant staff decided to build
during working and non-working hours, a kindergarten for 190 places in an economic way, and in
during the year it – this same kindergarten No. 2 was built. I will note with labor and then
the workers themselves, and not the authorities at all. Today they are trying to sell this object with a market value of about
1.2 million somoni at auction in violation of the presidential decree for 300
thousand somoni and on the condition that the school will be there for at least 7 years. That is, after 7
years, the object can be sold or turned into private housing or a bank, like this
happened to dozens of other such kindergartens.
Where is the
logic, gentlemen, parents? After all, it was the president who vetoed this process,
forbade them to be privatized without his personal permission, so that the country’s children could
have guaranteed access to preschool or secondary education. Instead of
thanks to the journalist, you accuse him of insulting the head of state.
I would just like to thank Z. Abdullaev for his principled position on drawing attention
to the problems at Bodom OJSC, where the State Committee
0109 Investment management of state property grossly violates the rights of the owner. GKI
are trying to sell the property of our joint-stock company, although the state in
joint-stock companies has only 20.52% of the shares. The facilities were built after the privatization of the plant, at the expense of shareholders, and today they are put up for auction just like that. After
fruitless correspondence with the State Property Committee, we filed against them with the Economic Court, whose decision
is still not in a position to receive either. The history of Tajik business did not know such a fact of flagrant lawlessness
, and I hope that with the help of the media and
of the relevant authorities, we will restore justice.”
