    School of the Presidential Academy – North-Western Institute of Management RANEPA

    School of the Presidential Academy

    NWIU RANEPA together with GBOU Secondary School No. 91 of the Petrogradsky District of St. class:

    • class “Customs” – with additional training in information technology, economics and foreign languages;
    • class “Project management and information technology” – with additional in-depth training in information technology and mathematical methods;

    From the tenth grade:

    • class “Management of a modern city (city management)” – with in-depth training in the basics of public administration, management, information technology and jurisprudence;
    • class “Management and social development” – with an in-depth study of the history of managerial thought, the laws of social development, psychology and foreign languages.

    Admission is based on competitive selection. Limited number of seats.

    A school appeared in St. Petersburg at the North-Western Institute of Management of the RANEPA

    On Saturday, September 1, 2018, a solemn assembly dedicated to the Day of Knowledge took place in the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Secondary School No. Starting from the new academic year, school No. 91 has become the base site of the NWIMU RANEPA.

    “The first of September is a holiday that symbolizes people’s desire to comprehend something new,” said Natalia Dukhova, director of the school. – In the summer we entered into an agreement with a St. Petersburg university, and became the base site of the North-Western Institute of Management. For us, these are new opportunities, new perspectives, interesting projects.”

    “Today the St. Petersburg Academy under the President of the Russian Federation is the largest educational institution in Russia and Europe. We confidently exist in the educational market of St. Petersburg. For the last six years in a row, our university has had the biggest competition for state-funded places, – explained Vladimir Shamakhov, director of the North-Western Institute of Economics, RANEPA. – We train managers for authorities, for sectors of the national economy, for business and public organizations. Our joint project: school plus university creates opportunities to develop talents in students much earlier. All of our faculty and students are ready, together with young recruits, to raise the future elite of the state, the future elite of the country.”

    Together, the institute and the school plan to restore and further develop the traditions of the Tsarskoye Selo Imperial Lyceum, the first specialized educational institution in Europe to train state administrators. “I am convinced that together we will achieve very good results,” Vladimir Alexandrovich concluded.

    Representatives of the Administration of the Petrogradsky District and the Kronverskoye Municipality also congratulated the schoolchildren on the new academic year and the opening of the Base Site. In addition, members of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team performed for the students.

    Brand diaries with the symbols of the North-Western Institute of Management of the RANEPA were issued especially for students, which were given to all students free of charge. “I really hope that they will only have good marks,” said Vladimir Shamakhov, director of the St. Petersburg branch of the Academy.

    Let’s add that School No. 91 has repeatedly become the owner of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation. There are currently over 500 children in the school. As for the staff, 10 people have the title of “Honorary Worker of General Education”, three – the title of “Excellence in Public Education” and two – the degree of Candidate of Sciences.

    About the School of the Presidential Academy

    The school was founded on November 5, 1938.

    School No. 91 – three times winner of the national project “Education”, the owner of the grant of the President of the Russian Federation in 2006, 2008, 2009. Many outstanding people studied here, including Olympic champions – Oleg Vasiliev, Evgeni Plushenko, Tatyana Totmyanina, Russian champion in figure skating Ksenia Doronina, world champion in orienteering Ivan Rodionov.
