Urban Public Schools Come to the Rescue of Black Boys

Public schools across the nation are implementing programs that help keep young black men in school and off the streets. Boosting graduation rates, reducing gang involvement and violence, and providing positive male role models are just a few of the common elements of these programs. Yet, the achievement gap between black boys and other peer groups remains extremely wide.

In the US, a 31-year-old pedophile posing as a schoolboy was sentenced to 70 years in prison

    kpho.com

The court of the US state of Arizona sentenced 31-year-old Neil Rodrik, who managed to get a job at school under the guise of a teenager.

According to the verdict of the court, the insidious pedophile will spend 70. 5 years in prison. This process looks especially scandalous because the police never managed to identify a single alleged victim of his harassment, reports the Associated Press.

Neil Rodrik was arrested in January 2007 among seventh grade students at an Arizona high school. Mingus Springs Charter School in Yavapai County suspected that his birth certificate and other documents were forged. However, even then the administration did not doubt that they were dealing with a child. According to the original version, the teenager was simply kidnapped.

However, during a search of the criminal’s house, a huge collection of child pornography was discovered, and the police were able to establish Casey’s true age.

Since 2005, Rodrik has been attending Arizona schools, posing as a 12-year-old boy named Casey, RIA Novosti reports .

Together with Rodrik, three more of his accomplices were arrested – 36-year-old Brian Nellis, posing as Rodrik’s cousin (he received 51 years in prison in March), as well as two more men – 63-year-old Lonnie Stiffler and 45-year-old James Snow, acting as his uncle and grandfather (sentenced to 14 and 22 years in prison, respectively).

It is noteworthy that Rodrik even managed to deceive his accomplices regarding his age. As it turned out during interrogations, he convinced Stiffler and Snow, whom he met in 2005 on the Internet, that he was a teenager. For greater persuasiveness, Rodrik shaved his body hair and used anti-aging cosmetics.

Posing as a minor, Rodrik moved from Oklahoma to Arizona and cohabited with men, having sex with them. Later, Stiffler and Snow enrolled Rodrik in several schools in Arizona in order, as the police suggested, to look for victims among children.

For two years, the attacker attended schools in the towns of Surprise, Payson and Prescott Valley, writes The New York Daily News .

When the true age of Rodrik was established, Stiffler and Snow were extremely upset, because throughout the entire time of their acquaintance they really mistook him for a boy. “This is the strangest case that I have encountered in 18 years of work – said the representative of the Yavapai County Sheriff Susan Quayle. – If he was not so sad, it would be funny.”

In 2008, Rodrik pleaded guilty to seven counts. In total, the Arizona court charged him with 28 counts, including the use of pornography for sexual purposes, sexual harassment, fraud and others. Also, Rodrik once tried to attack one of the schoolgirls, grabbing her by the buttocks.

According to the judge, Rodrik is a “hardened pedophile” and should have received a much longer prison term.

“Your behavior is terrible, your actions were deliberate, dishonorable, you used and manipulated people,” said Judge Thomas Lindberg. “I believe that you are a danger to society, especially to children.”

According to local authorities, none of the victims of Rodrik’s sexual harassment has yet been found. In 1996, he was already sentenced to six years for corrupting a 6-year-old boy.

With the current huge sentence, more like a life sentence, Rodrik is unlikely to be able to maintain his fantastic youthfulness until his release.

    “Youthful” pedophiles

This is not the first time that sexual perverts deliberately impersonate teenagers in order to ingratiate themselves and rape children. In September 2008, a 22-year-old pedophile was sentenced in the UK, who for several months played an insidious performance for the sake of kidnapping and raping a schoolgirl.

In order to “gain access” to the 13-year-old schoolgirl, James Chester first gained confidence in her relatives by getting to know the victim’s brother. The mother of the later kidnapped girl herself repeatedly saw Chester in school uniform and, according to her, did not assume such a monstrous deception.

And on August 5, 2007, the schoolgirl disappeared and was put on the wanted list. Two days later, the girl and her resourceful companion were found in Northern Ireland. As it turned out, during the “escape” from his native land, he persuaded the schoolgirl to have sexual contacts. Chester was arrested upon his return from a “romantic trip”.

In court, the girl said that she had had sex with an overgrown debaucher about 50 times of her own free will.

Attorney Mary Johnson said the victim was happy with her relationship with Chester. The pedophile gave her a ring and promised to marry her.

It is noteworthy that the savvy pervert, posing as a 16-year-old boy, did not perform such tricks for the first time. In September 2005, he even entered a Catholic school in Portsmouth using a fake birth certificate. He studied in the 10th grade for three months, after which the school administration nevertheless found out about the true age of the pedophile.

The forgery was then reported to the police, but no charges were brought against Chester. A year later, he again tried to enroll in another school for boys, but this time the administration was on top and got to the bottom of the maniac in time.

The Portsmouth Court ordered two psychiatric examinations to determine whether the perpetrator had abnormalities that would explain this behaviour.

According to lawyer Jennifer Knight, Chester’s paradoxical desire to impersonate a teenager is due to the fact that the defendant was allegedly deprived of a happy childhood due to constant humiliation from his abusive father.

A court in Portsmouth, Hampshire, has sentenced a young man to two and a half years in prison for kidnapping and having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Chester was banned from approaching schools closer than 50 meters by a court verdict. He also has no right to communicate with teenagers, wear a school uniform, and his name is put on the list of sex offenders for a 10-year period.

And in the fall of 2006 in the US state of Colorado they sentenced A 32-year-old pedophile who also posed as a teenager and raped children under the guise of a peer.

At the trial, it was proved that 18 boys and one girl aged 13 to 15 became victims of Zuri-Kai McGee.

In August 2006, McGee was charged with 63 counts of child sexual abuse. In 1998, he was also accused of raping a minor and then spent 321 days in prison.

The pervert was sentenced to 508 years in prison. Representatives of the prosecution expressed satisfaction with the verdict, since its task was to isolate the rapist from children until the end of his life.

It is noteworthy that the rapist’s 54-year-old mother was also accused of helping her son, because with her help he found families with small children.
