Parent: We had a great Kinder teacher who cared about her students and was exceptional in creating a learning environment that always grasped the children’s attention. If you as a parent support the learning at home your child can soar.
They have a dedicated French and Spanish teacher and the program flows very well. Is it an immersion program, no, but my daughter is still speaking the French she did learn and it’s summer.
Parent communication is great. I am very impressed by their weekly emails and monthly news letters!!
Their goal is to purchase their own property for the school within the next few years as well. And they let go teachers who are not up to par. Versus full public institutions where they have to keep the bad teachers.
I support this school whole heartily and make two 40 minute round trips a day, for pick up and drop off for my daughter to attend. Long story short, you get out of the school what you as a parent are willing to put in and trust…. Read 2 reviews

Works Here: Santa Rosa Academy is a wonderful school for students. The nature of the school is embedded in personalizing education to the individual student needs. Academics and character education are taught daily, side-by-side, integrated and equally emphasized. SRA also celebrates and fosters reverence for patriotism and honoring those who serve to protect us in our communities and abroad. Senior: As a student at Orange Vista High School, I proudly say that this is school is amazing in regards to their education and community. The staff is extremely friendly and understanding, and the students always ensure that everyone feels welcome. The security on campus also put the effort into making sure students feel safe and equal on campus. Although this high school is fairly new, there are already many educational programs and extra curricular offered on campus. For example, there’s Key Club, Pride Club, volleyball, soccer, and swim. There is also a wide racial diversity on campus, making all students feel welcome regardless of race or ethnicity…. Read 68 reviews

Alum: Facilities/campus are nice, food quality on the other hand is quiet poor. They served typical fast food.
The teachers were my favorite part of my time at that school, english, drama, and science had some of the best instructors during my time. Engaging, fun, and enjoyable to learn.
The administration on the other hand was a bit hands off, because the highschool is so large, there are literally more than a 1000 students. Between 1000-2000 students.
So student culture is really just that, its so big, that you could float along and not get noticed if you wanted to. It can also make it hard to get around, you kind of get lost in the crowd. I thought the place was a college than a high school.
You’ll find good people, form close friendships, keep your circle small and intimate, and focus on the teachers that care. Thats what matters while you’re making your way through high school. Good luck!… Read 475 reviews

Parent: CMI has been a positive experience for all 3 of our children currently attending. Our daughter was struggling at her old school with an IEP and her grades were poor. She continues to have an IEP for processing information and the help she receives is stellar! Her grades are A’s and B’s and her confidence has also improved! Our 2 boys are doing excellent as well. As parents, one of the things we can do for our children is provide a great education. We feel we are doing that by sending our children to CMI. Not only are they getting a great academic education, they are learning leadership skills, discipline, teamwork, integrity, importance of following direction, and so many more life lessons! We love CMI!. .. Read 185 reviews

Junior: The Learning Choice Academy is a charter school which offers K-12 education. I’m currently a junior in high school, and I’ve been with the school since the second semester of kindergarten. The small class sizes offer a very tight-knit, personal community of students, and many of my friends have been in my grade since middle or even elementary school, although new students are usually able to integrate quite well. As for the educational prospects, the school offers a reasonably good curriculum for elementary and middle schoolers, but the lack of elective classes and clubs in high school is somewhat of a detriment. Aside from that, however, the Learning Choice Academy is a very solid school…. Read 38 reviews

According to The Guardian, Daily Mail, Fox News and other media outlets, schools in southern California have banned the classic Merriam Webster Dictionary, which found the article “Oral sex”. The 10th edition of the Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary has been banned.
A term that confused adults is defined in the dictionary as oral stimulation of the genitals. He was discovered by a parent of an elementary school student in the Menifee Union school district. “It’s a solid dictionary,” said the father of three Randy Freeman (Randy Freeman). “But there are words that cause concern.”
The publication was used in the fourth and fifth grades of local schools, where children aged 9 and 10 study. Dictionaries have now been removed from classrooms because “graphic sexual description” was deemed inappropriate for this age group. “This article simply does not correspond to the age of schoolchildren. Sitting and reading an explanatory dictionary is difficult. But we are scrupulously looking for other naturalistic descriptions, ”says a representative of District Betty Cadmus (Betti Cadmus).
County officials are now deciding whether to make the ban permanent.
However, not all parents share this point of view. Father of two children Emanuel Chavez (Emanuel Chavez) said that “in this way there will be no dictionaries at school at all.” “There is nothing wrong with students going and looking up in the dictionary the word they heard on the playground. You need to know the measure. What will they do next, ban encyclopedias because they list parts of the human anatomy, including the penis and vagina? – the other parent was indignant Jason Rogers (Jason Rogers).
