About Us

Mountain View School District was founded in 1884 in the agricultural lands of the former Spanish Ranchos. The district began as a small one room school house at Collins Station along the Southern Pacific Railroad. In 1942 a new school was built on the corner of Archibald and Walnut close to where our district office building now stands. The region grew and a new Mountain View School was built in 1962 followed by Grace Yokley School in 1982, Creek View School in 1985 and Ranch View School in 1991. Park View Elementary School has its inaugural year in 2022.  The next new elementary school is slated for 2024/2025.

Our district currently has 3000 students served by dedicated and experienced teachers, administrators and support staff. Mountain View School District is a school community whose members focus on the whole child: ensuring each child is safe, that each child’s needs are met, and that each child is provided an education of the highest quality.

Dr. Douglass Moss has been our Superintendent since 2017. Dr. Moss strives to create school environments that are inclusive, diverse, tolerant, welcoming, safe and conducive to individual innovation and inspiration.

Top Psychiatrists in Mountain View, CA

Psychiatry is a medical specialty in mental health. . And like any other doctor, a psychiatrist in Mountain View, Calif., will require a range of skills to successfully treat their patients. However, the nature of psychiatry may make them rely on their interpersonal skills more than any other specialization. So what skills make the best psychiatrist in Mountain View, California? nine0044

Mountain View is a city in Santa Clara County, California, United States. Named for its view of the Santa Cruz Mountains, has a population of 82,376.

Mountain View was integral to Silicon Valley’s early history and growth and is home to many high-tech companies. In 1956, William Shockley founded Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory in Mountain View, the first company to develop silicon semiconductor devices in Silicon Valley. Today, Mountain View is home to many of the world’s largest technology companies, including Google and Alphabet Inc., the Unicode Consortium, Intuit, NASA Ames Research Center, and the main headquarters of Microsoft, Symantec, 23andMe, LinkedIn, Samsung, and Synopsys. . nine0044

1. Top Psychiatrists in Mountain View, California Communicate Greatly

Although neurology is advancing rapidly, psychiatry in Mountain View, California still relies heavily on doctor-patient communication. A psychiatrist who cannot communicate effectively cannot treat effectively.

For a leading psychiatrist in Mountain View, California, the ability to actively listen is critical. This means not just listening to what their patient is saying, but constantly analyzing, understanding different levels of meaning and being able to relate them to their respective medical context. However, they must also be empathetic in doing so, understanding the needs of the patient at the moment, which may differ from their therapeutic needs, and offering a reflective, non-judgmental and, above all, safe space for their client. nine0044

2. The best psychiatrists in Mountain View, CA have amazing understanding

Again, while everyone can understand, a great psychiatrist in Mountain View, CA will work on another level. Sometimes it will be reading between the lines of what is said and discovering the hidden meaning or reason. Sometimes it will notice things that weren’t said. By definition, someone will visit a psychiatrist because they cannot deal with their mental health problem alone; the psychiatrist’s job will be to work with his patient to gain a deeper understanding of the problem. nine0044

This will also mean cultural and social awareness. A psychiatrist in Mountain View, California, must understand how the world in which their patient lives affects him. Just as young and old will have different perspectives, expectations and pressures, so will an Asian client compared to, for example, a Western client.

3. Great psychiatrists have amazing versatility.

Medicine, whether physical or mental, is rarely binary. There are very few treatments that work for everyone, and a big part of the doctor’s job is choosing the treatment that will be most effective. However, this is especially true of psychiatrists in Mountain View, California. nine0044

A good psychiatrist will be able to look at a range of options, from drugs to therapy, to find the right treatment for their patient. And the nature of mental illness and treatment means that it is often a dynamic process. Medications may take weeks to take effect, and talking therapy may help identify other problems. The psychiatrist cannot just prescribe and discharge, they must adapt to how the patient responds to their treatment.

4. Excellent psychiatrists in Mountain View, California have a mixed set of tools

Psychiatrists in Mountain View, California write prescriptions for doctors, but that’s not all. The really great psychiatrists have a lot of tools in their arsenal. Treatment methods are many and varied. A treatment that works well for one person may have absolutely no positive effect on another.

Medications play an important role in the treatment of many types of mental illness, although the psychological, social and holistic aspects of care are just as important. An excellent psychiatrist in Mountain View, California will have a multidisciplinary support team and access to the latest evidence-based treatments. nine0044

5. First of all, humility.

For excellent psychiatrists, humility is a superpower. During treatment, they will have to keep strong emotions in their patients, realizing how important their role is, but the most important person is the patient. They must be willing to let go if they feel that their patient would benefit more from another treatment. And they must recognize that sometimes they will bear the brunt of the raw feelings that come to light in the healing process.

Medicine is not always associated with humility; doctors, after all, work long and hard for their qualifications and status. However, if you are looking for a top psychiatrist in Mountain View, California, finding one that has all the skills and humility, is a good starting point, speak to REMEDY wellbeing for your care requirements. Remedy has psychiatric care and therapy options that span the globe and can bring the highest standard of international care to you.

Divine Ideal

Although everything created by God bore the seal of perfection and beauty; although it seemed
that there was no lack of anything on earth that could make Adam and.
Eve – yet God showed them His great love, planting specially for them
Garden of Eden. Part of their time they devoted to joyful activities in the garden,
the other part – receiving guests – angels and listening to their instructions, as well as in
happy, joyful reflection. Their work was not tedious, but pleasant
and encouraging. This beautiful garden was in the fullest sense of the word their home, their special
residence, (DD. t 3, 34; 1864). nine0044

What conditions of life did the Eternal God choose for His Son? – secluded house
among the hills of Galilee; simple, honest family work, simple life; daily
struggle with difficulties and hardships, self-sacrifice, thrift, patience,
but joyful service; studying the Holy Scriptures with mother; quiet hours
dawn and dusk of the day among the verdant valleys; the sacred lessons of nature; study of
creation and providence of God; [95] fellowship with God – these are the conditions under which
and opportunity flowed through the early days of Jesus’ life. -SI 365, 366′(1905).

Far From the Cities

Leave the cities as soon as possible, buy a small piece of land where you can
plant a garden where your children can watch flowers grow and learn from
simplicity and purity. -IV 2, 356 (1903).

Leave the cities, that is my message at this time. Be sure it’s certain
a call to our people – to settle away from big cities. One look at
San Francisco as it is today should already speak to your inquisitive
mind, showing you the need to leave the city. nine0044

The Lord calls upon His people to settle far from the cities, for at the hour which
don’t think; fire and brimstone will fall from heaven on these cities. Retribution will visit them
proportional to their sins. When one city is destroyed, let our people not consider
this question lightly, believing that if they were given favorable opportunities,
they will build houses for themselves in the same ruined city…

Let all who wish to understand the meaning of these truths read the 11th chapter of Revelation.
Read each verse and study what will happen to them. Read also about events
– the scenes presented in ch. 18. of the same book. – OP 1518, 10 May 1906 {96]

Fathers and mothers who have a piece of land and a comfortable home are kings and queens.-
AD 141. (1894).

Work In The Cities – From Outposts

As a nation that keeps the commandments of God, we must leave the cities. Like Enoch
we must work in them, but not live in them. – Ev. 77, 78 (1899).

Work in cities must be done through outposts. The Messenger of God said:
“Aren’t cities supposed to get a warning?” Yes, but not those
that the people of God will live in them – and visiting the cities, our people will warn
of what awaits the earth. -IV. 2,358 (1902).

For several years the Lord gave me special revelations, indicating that
we must not concentrate our work in the cities. Noise and restlessness reigning
in these cities; situation, due to the activities of trade union organizations
and strikes, will serve as a great obstacle in our work. – SC. 7, 84
(1902).

Seeing all the lawlessness spreading among the nations, we should always listen
to the voice of warning and instruction, just as Lot heard this naked
in Sodom. Lot could have saved his family from many evils if he had not lived among
this lawless and corrupt city. All that Lot and his family had in Sodom,
they might have, living at some distance from Sodom.—Ev. 78 (1903).

For the time being, some will be required to work in Chicago, but they must
receive training in centers [97] located in rural areas and from there
plan and carry out work in cities. The Lord wants his people to convert
attention to such humble, unprofessional places as the centers of God’s work.
And over time, they will notice more and more places where they can provide
case for a surprisingly low price. -Ev 402. (1906).

Abundant Blessings in the Natural

We say again: “Get out of the cities!” Don’t take it as a big loss
that you should head for the hills and mountains; seek solitude where you can
study alone with the Lord His will and ways. ..

I insist that our people strive for spirituality in their lives. Christ
already at the door. That is why I say to our people: “Do not consider deprivation what
that you are being called to leave the cities and move to the countryside. There you
abundant blessings await. Contemplating the scenes of nature, the works of our Creator,
as you study the work of God, you will subtly imitate the same pattern.—JSM 2, 355, 356
(nineteen08).

Character Develops Easier Surrounded by Nature

Parents and families rush to cities in the hope of
and an easier life than in the countryside. Children spend after school
their free time on the street and receive a street education.—SC5, 232 (1882).
[98]

Send children to schools located in cities where temptations and various things await them.
a kind of immorality is a wrong step; while building character in ten
times more difficult for both parents and children.- OHV 326. (1894).

Cities are full of temptations. We need to plan our work in such a way that
to keep our youth as far as possible from such defilement. – AD 136
(1902).

The time has come for our people to remove their families from the big cities to more
secluded places, otherwise many young people and those in their mature years will be confused
in the networks of the enemy. -SC. 8, 101 (1904).

There is not a single family out of a hundred that is physically, mentally and spiritually
became better by settling in the city. Acquire Faith, Hope, Love, Happiness
much better in secluded places where there are fields, hills and trees. Delete your
children from the sights and noise of cities, from the roar of the city, transport, – and their thoughts
become healthier. Then parents can more easily convey the truth to their hearts.
Words of God.- ! AD 137 (1905).

Physical Health – Better in the Countryside

It is not God’s will for His people to settle in cities where there is constant noise
and mess. Children must be protected from this, for the whole life of the city is characterized by
haste, swiftness, and noise, and all this demoralizes the children.—IV2, 357 (1902).
[99]

For many city dwellers who do not have a piece of land or green grass, but
constantly, from year to year, looking only at dirty yards, narrow streets, stone
buildings, pavements, covered with dust, instead of the sky – thick clouds of burning and smoke;
spacious country plains, forests, hills, babbling streams, pure blue
heaven, – all this would seem to be the threshold of paradise on earth. -SI 191, 192 (1905).

The outer environment of cities often serves as a serious threat to health. Here
always in danger of some disease; bad air, polluted
water, poor quality food – all this is only a part of those unfavorable conditions,
which are encountered here. God did not originally intend
so that people gather in cities, among multi-storey buildings and apartments. – SI 365
(1905).

Provide Yourself with Your Products

The Lord wants His people to move to the countryside where they can
have a piece of land, grow their own fruits and vegetables, and where their children can directly
to get acquainted with the actions of God in nature. Move your families out of the cities
here is my message. – IV 2, 357, 358 (1902).

Again and again the Lord advises that our people go with their families from
cities to the countryside, where they can grow their own food, for in
In the future, the problem of buying and [100] selling will be very serious. We already now
should heed this insistent command: “Get out of the cities
to the countryside, where dwellings are not so close to each other and
where you will be far from evil. – JW 2, 141 (1904).

Place Institutions “Away From the Cities”
themselves, who would look for property in rural areas, from where it is easy to
cities could be reached where missionary schools could be built for
workers; where sick suffering souls could learn the truth.

Let suitable buildings be found near large cities, which can
be donated or purchased at a reasonable price – at the expense of the gifts of our people.
Do not erect buildings in noisy cities. – Ev 77 (1909).

Cooranbong, New South Wales

Where will our Australian Bible School be located?.. Should schools
be located in cities or at some distance from them? Indeed, in the cities most
it is difficult to resist the influence of the previous upbringing that students received
concerning days of rest and customs associated with them, such as horse racing,
bet, prizes… [101]

We considered it necessary to establish our schools away from the cities, but not so
far away to be able to visit them, to do deeds of love – let the light
shines in the midst of moral darkness. -OHV 310, 313 (1894).

I liked this place in a very impressive way, except for the fact:
it is too far from the great highways of communication and therefore
there is no opportunity for the light of truth to shine amid the moral darkness that
like a death shroud covers our great cities. It seems to be the only one
objection lurking in my mind. But in this case it is also inappropriate to establish
our school in any of our big cities. – ORT. 8, 137 (1894). nine0044

I am more convinced than ever that this is the right place to be.
schools. – ORT. 8, 360 (1894).

Huntsville, Alabama

Those in charge of school affairs in Graceville and Huntsville must understand that
can be done through these institutions – to establish such enterprises in order to
our members wishing to leave the cities could receive the most modern houses,
without a large expenditure of funds and could also find work. – 025 (1902). [102]

It was in the providence of God that the Huntsville School Farm was acquired.
It is located in a beautiful area. Nearby is a huge nursery,
in which many students worked during the summer to earn money
to cover their expenses at the Huntsville School.- Spec. Certificate Serie B (12), 11
(nineteen04).

Huntsville School Farm is the most beautiful place and with 120 hectares
land, much can be achieved in labor education and harvesting. – Spec. Certificate
Series B (12x), 13(1904).

Recently I was asked the question: “Wouldn’t it be better to sell the school land in Huntsville
and buy a little smaller estate?” I was instructed that this farm
no need to sell as it has many advantages to establish in the future
school for colored people.- Spalding-Magan Collection 359(1904).

Berry Springs, Michigan

I’ve heard of some people thinking of locating a school in Berry Springs in the Southwest
Michigan. I quite liked the description of this place… In a place like
Berry Springs School can be an object lesson and I hope that
no one will be able to interfere and hinder the progress of this work. – OR
vol. 4, 407 (July 12, 1901).

The good hand of our Lord was with our people in choosing a place for the school.
This place [103] corresponds to the ideas given to me where
school. It should be located away from cities, have a large plot of land
for agricultural purposes and have enough space for houses under construction
were not close to each other. This area is sufficient for learning
students in tillage. -WG 28 January 1902

In relocating the college from Battle Creek and establishing it in Berry Springs, the brothers
Magan and Sutherland acted in accordance with the light received from God. They toiled
hard with great difficulties… but God was with them. He approved of their efforts.-

Stonyham, Massachusetts

The Lord in His Providence opened a way for His workers – a way of advancement
to New England, a field where a great special work is to be done. Brothers
were able to agree on a change in the place of the sanatorium – from South Lancaster to Melrose,
an area closer to Boston and at the same time quite remote from
noisy city to such an extent that patients can have the most favorable
conditions for better health. Translation of the New England Sanitarium to such a convenient
place – the city of Boston, is truly God’s providence. nine0044

When the Lord stretched out His hand to prepare the way before us, God did not allow,
for anyone to hold back this case, doubt the wisdom of moving forward
or refused to encourage and help. Relocation [104] New England Sanitarium
from South Lancaster to Melrose was presented to me as directed by the Lord.—

Takoma Park, Washington, DC

We needed a special location for our school and sanitarium – that’s all
we could wish. The Lord showed me a land that matched our ideas.
It had enough space for a school and a sanatorium, without a cluster of institutions.
The air and water in that place are clean. A beautiful stream flows right through our lot
— from North to South. This stream is a more valuable treasure than gold or
silver. The buildings are located on beautiful hills with excellent drainage.
and sewerage. nine0044

One day we took a long trip through various parts of Takoma Park.
Most of the city is occupied by natural forests. Large houses close by
apart, but spacious and comfortable. They are surrounded by pines, oaks, maples
and other beautiful trees. The owners of these houses, mostly business
people, many of them – employees of government agencies in Washington. They
daily go to the city to work, and in the evening return to their calm
at home. nine0044

It is necessary to choose a place for the publishing office – not far from the post office
and a place for a prayer meeting must also be found. It seems that
the Takoma Park area was specially prepared for us and was waiting to
it was occupied by our institutions and their employees. – 3B June 15, 1904. [105]

The Lord revealed this question to me in the most definite way. publishing work,
which took place in Battle Creek had to be moved closer to Washington.
And if after a while the Lord says: “Move from Washington,” –
we will move, – WG 11 August 1903

Madison, TN

I’m surprised when people talk about the work they want to do in the South,
establish a school a long way from Nashville. From the light given to me I know
that they are doing wrong and I reminded them of this. The work that these
brothers can do (E. A. Sutherland and R. T. Magan), having experience in Berry Springs,
is to locate our institutions closer to Nashville, which
not yet truly enlightened by our message. On the other hand, it will
a great blessing to the staff of the school to be so close to Nashville
and have the advantage of consulting the workers there. nine0044

Looking for a place for a school, the brothers found a farm with an area of 160 hectares of about
14 kilometers from Nashville. Farm size, location, distance from Nashville
and, finally, a moderate price – all this converges to the fact that this is a wonderful place
for school work. We advised to buy this estate. I know that the whole earth
will be necessary.—RH August 18, 1904.

Mountain View, CA

Instruction was also given to move Pacific Publishing from Oakland.
As the [106] years passed, the city grew, and now it became necessary
move the publishing house to a less populated area, with the ability to build
houses for workers. Everyone associated with the publishing house is not required to live in crowded
cities. They should be able to obtain housing in places where they
will be able to live without demanding a high salary. – OHV 492 (1904).

Mountain View is a city with many advantages. It is surrounded by wonderful fruit
gardens. Thanks to the mild climate, all sorts of fruits and vegetables grow here.
vegetables. The city is small, but electrified, has a good post office
and many other advantages usually available only in cities.-P 141 (1904).

Some wonder why our publishing house has to move from Auckland
in Mountain View. God is calling His people to leave the cities. Youth connected
with our institutions, should not be subjected to temptations, corruption, reigning
in these big cities. Mountain View is located in a preferred location
for publishing house.- Rural life 29(1905).

Loma Linda, CA

We thank the Lord that we have a good sanitarium in Paradise Valley, ten
kilometers from San Diego; sanatoriums Glendale 12 kilometers from Los Angeles;
and a large beautiful area in Loma Linda, about 100 kilometers east
from Los Angeles and closer to Redlands, [107] Riversay and San Bernardino. Loma Linda
– one of the most beautiful sanatoriums I have ever seen. – Vesti Loma
Linda 41(1905).

Loma Linda – a place that the Lord has specially intended – to be the center
for the training of medical missionaries.- P 188 (1907).

Loma Linda is a place of marvelous benefits and if the students here are faithful
take all these advantages to become true medical missionaries,
the light they receive will naturally shine on all around them. We need daily
seek God so that His wisdom may be imparted to us. -P 374 (1907).

Here we have ideal opportunities for schools and sanatoriums – advantages for
students and great benefits for patients. I have been instructed that
there must be a school operating on the principle of the ancient schools of the prophets… Here
physicians receive their education.-MS 75, 76 (1907).

Angwin, CA

When I think about this property, it is superior to all others in many ways.
There could not be [108] a better place for a school, 12 kilometers from Svyataya
Helena, free from all city temptations.
