In Shymkent after the third of August, pre-school institutions can start working | “SALEM-SHYMKENT”

This was announced by the head of the education department Zhanat Tazhiyeva.

She answered the questions: How will kindergartens comply with sanitary requirements, one of which is distance? How is the preparation for the new school year going?

If the special commission supports it, kindergartens in the third metropolis will start accepting pupils already on August 3rd. However, all preschool institutions are required to comply with sanitary standards and requirements. So, in groups there should be no more than 15 children. In anticipation of the start of the academic year, preparatory courses are also allowed to work.

And students from remote areas of Shymkent may start the school year offline, within the walls of their native schools. In some settlements, annexed from the territories of Sairam and Tolebi districts, the number of schoolchildren does not exceed 120.

Experts believe that conducting lessons in such small schools is not dangerous. But even in this case, the consent of the parents will be taken into account.

At the same time, a lot of work is underway to prepare for distance learning. According to the chief teacher of the city, the issue of improving the quality of the Internet in remote areas is being addressed.

Zhanat Tazhiyeva, Head of the Department of Education in Shymkent: “More than 35,000 city schoolchildren will be provided with free Internet access. As for the low quality of the Internet, we are currently working on this problem with providers.

Now in Shymkent the action Road to school has started. Children from low-income families will be transferred 30,000 tenge each. More than 42,000 schoolchildren of the city will receive this assistance. Another 24,000 will be given computers for temporary use.

Recall that, according to the statement of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexei Tsoi, the main condition for mitigating quarantine is to reduce the incidence and mortality from COVID-19 in the country, as well as the employment of no more than 70 percent of beds during the week.

In this case, from August 3, the following facilities will be allowed to operate:

SEC, trading house, retail chains with time and day restrictions, covered food and non-food markets;
Children’s correction rooms, educational centers, children’s development centers, circles in groups of no more than 5 people;
Children’s preschool institutions in the mode of duty groups;
Beauty salons, hairdressers, centers and salons providing beauty and cosmetic services, manicure and pedicure by appointment;

Also allowed:

Individual and group outdoor training while maintaining social distancing.
