Placement in classes is based on your child’s birthday. The cut off date is August 31st for all 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s.   3 year olds and up must be fully potty trained.

If all spaces are filled, you may be placed on our wait list.  There is a $10 non-refundable fee and we will contact you as soon as a spot becomes available for your child.

Mount Skalista or Chitinza (the ancient Chinese name) is located in the Partizansky district of Primorsky Krai.

Climbing it is not as difficult as, for example, the mountains of the Livadia Ridge or the Bolshoy Sparrow Ridge, but this peak is no less interesting. Both in winter and summer, the ascent to Chitinza is accompanied by the observation of striking natural contrasts.

The beauties of alpine meadows at the top are adjacent to the deaf taiga, and elegant birch groves are separated from the dense spruce forest by one narrow path.

In autumn, the foot of the mountain is still rich in berries and mushrooms, and the rocky peak is already covered with thick snow. On one side of the peak you can see a spacious valley, and on the other side there is a deep gorge.

Lots of lifting options. We got something experimental, although it was planned to climb through the abandoned Ruchi Peak. At one of the forks of the forest road, we went into the wrong ravine and did not get into these same Brooks. I had to stomp as is. Making our way through the bushes, stepping over the muzzle and listening to the voices of the local fauna, we somehow came to the old logging road along a weakly trampled clearing.
