Preparing Your Child to Succeed in Elementary School
Many consider kindergarten the new first grade because primary schools have come to expect more and more from young students academically. At our schools, we go the distance to sufficiently equip your child for rigorous educational standards, while easing the transition into formal education. While our kindergarten program polishes your child’s academic skills, we also prioritize playfulness and social development with safe learning settings, experienced instructors, and compact classrooms. Our private kindergarten program supports your kindergartener’s cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development in a holistic manner for whole child development.
Laying the Foundation for Future Academic Success
Research has shown that an effective kindergarten education can positively influence your child well into adulthood. Programs with engaged instructors and small classrooms are linked to higher test scores and a greater likelihood of attending college. Furthermore, a comprehensive kindergarten program may also benefit other aspects in your child’s adult life; research shows that those who receive quality kindergarten education have a better chance at earning a higher salary, getting married, and owning a home. Our kindergarten school fosters your little learner’s cognitive, social-emotional, and physical skills to properly prepare them for their educational path.
Cognitive:
The ability to think logically is key to academic success. Our kindergarten program nurtures your child’s cognitive growth through exercises like asking questions, speaking intentionally, and counting by fingers. Responsive interaction, stimulating environments, and engaging activities are paramount to building a strong intellectual foundation.
Socio-Emotional:
Studies have revealed that a strong indicator for success in school, work, and social life is a person’s ability to regulate their emotions and behavior. Our knowledgeable instructors establish receptive relationships, model appropriate behaviors, and emphasize empathy- and cooperation-focused exercises.
Physical:
Children at this age are growing quickly and need a lot of room to explore physical abilities like skipping, climbing, and dancing. We provide a safe and fun environment for your “big kid” to thrive.
Our Kindergarten Curriculum Goes Above and Beyond
Promoting Literacy: Studies have shown that about 80% of primary school teachers now expect students to learn how to read during their kindergarten year. In order to meet these new challenges, our kindergarten literacy program encourages your little one to develop a love of language and literature through regular reading, writing, and listening exercises.
Mastering Math: At this age, children begin to count, categorize, and compare. These cognitive skills are fundamental for understanding the math taught in primary school. Independent and group numerical activities strengthen your child’s elementary math abilities ahead of first grade.
Imagining Other Worlds: Our kindergarten program incites your child’s imagination through involved dramatic plays. Not only is this an opportunity for your youngster to assume different roles, but also to boost their abstract thinking, literacy, art, and social skills.
Speaking Spanish: In this globalized world, multilingual proficiency is becoming more and more important. Young students have a great capacity to learn native-like pronunciation and intonation in another language, for example, Spanish. Our education program offers a multitude of Spanish learning activities that will give your child an edge in increasingly competitive academics.
Exploring Science & Nature: Now that your youngster has the physical capabilities to thoroughly discover the outdoors, he or she likely wants to know more about how the world around them functions. Our committed team guides kids as they observe, identify, investigate, and test their environment.
Developing Computer Skills: Needless to say, your kindergartener is probably already a digital native. To ensure that your child obtains essential computer skills while playfully exploring the digital realm, we offer plenty of fun computer lessons and activities.
Dancing to the Music: Dancing and other exciting physical exercises improve coordination, creativity, and motor and muscle skills. Plus, dancing poses an ideal opportunity for children to socialize with each other.
An Effortless Transition into First Grade
Though the transition from early childhood care to primary school can be a challenging one for both parents and child, studies have demonstrated that family involvement in education during this particular period can significantly improve a child’s academic progress. We involve parents in a child’s kindergarten program through frequent meetings and strong communication. Our skilled teachers and dedicated staff work with you to gain optimal educational results for your child. Our comprehensive and diverse kindergarten program equips your child with the skillset needed to prosper in primary school and beyond!
Our Promise
We provide parents with peace of mind by giving children an exceptional education every fun-filled day in a place as nurturing as home.

Stamford Kindergarten Programs
Full-Day Kindergarten
In a full day Kindergarten program, students are able to experience a more balanced program that develops both academic and social skills through a wide variety of intentionally-designed curricular experiences.
Children that attend a full-day kindergarten have faculty support, time, and learning opportunities that help them actively and joyfully experience the kindergarten program.
Students develop the resilience and stamina to collaborate, learn, reflect, and grow through a full day program, establishing a foundation to be successful throughout their elementary school years.
The teachers in a full day Kindergarten program are experts in early childhood learning and development. They know how to analyze children’s learning capabilities, partner with students and parents to set learning goals, and then guide students to become the best versions of themselves.
Half-Day Kindergarten
On the other hand, the curriculum for a half day Kindergarten program typically offers less depth and breadth. The shortened time frame needs to squeeze together an academic program and often cannot fit specialist courses or extended time for collaboration, reflection, and meaningful play. Kindergarten teachers of half day programs typically teach both a morning and a separate afternoon group of students, and in having twice as many students, the teachers are not able to know each student as well. In a half day Kindergarten program, students typically do not have enough time to be immersed in a culture of being a learner.
Most children would benefit from the extensive opportunities offered from a full day Kindergarten program including deeper and broader curricular opportunities for cognitive and social development plus stronger student-teacher relationships.
What to expect from King School Kindergarten
At the Kindergarten age, children are naturally curious, ready to ask questions, think critically, analyze and solve problems, make discoveries, and have a lot of fun. A private Kindergarten classroom draws on children’s desire to share ideas with friends, think big, and innovate by engaging children in a dynamic process of learning in order to build a solid foundation for future success in school.
King uses a project-based teaching and learning approach in our PreKindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms to support the developmental range of our students as part of our private early childhood education program.
We intentionally nurture a growth mindset and utilize project-based learning in order to establish the foundation for a love of learning and success for a child’s future. Students appreciate different perspectives within a multicultural community that embraces shared values of integrity, kindness, perseverance, and respect.
Our early childhood program fosters students’ academic, social and emotional growth through intentionally-designed curricular experiences.
Project work is at the core of our PreKindergarten and Kindergarten program. Project work develops skills in Language Arts, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Social Studies, plus our additional Specialist subjects and courses expand students’ learning even further.
- Language Arts: Kindergarten children use their growing awareness of letters, words, and sounds to solidify reading and writing skills. Our workshop approach engages students with material that is of high interest and aligns with their personal goals. Students begin to develop as skilled readers and writers as they learn through project work and delve deeply into topics of interest.
- Science, Technology, and Engineering: Students explore the world around them and develop scientific curiosity. Opportunities to take healthy risks and experiment encourage free scientific exploration and inspiration in the Makerspace, art centers, library/media, and computer science. Students solidify their understanding through field trips, literature, art projects, videos, and hands-on activities.
- Math: Engaged with the comprehensive Singapore Math Program, students build a deeper understanding of basic mathematical concepts through hands-on, concrete activities and lessons.
- Social Studies: Kindergarten students learn to see the world in a positive light, and to gain an awareness and appreciation of other people, both within our country and in the larger world. Kindergarten themes include community outreach projects, and celebrating many holidays from around the World. This provides opportunities to experience diversity and foster awareness of other cultures.
- Specialist Subjects: Students in Kindergarten learn academic and social emotional skills through hands-on projects in Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, King Cares Community Service, and Global Education.
Why Choose a Private Kindergarten?
A question many parents ask is ‘is a private early education worth it? Some consider the public schools in Stamford good, so why choose a private school?
A private education has great benefits, but a private early education makes a huge difference in how your child learns and grows by setting the stage for success in cognitive, social, and emotional development. Research shows that students who see themselves as learners at the youngest ages are most likely to be stronger in school. This early head start will help students thrive beyond elementary, middle, and high school education.
Benefits of Private Kindergarten
- Sets a strong foundation for learning: The most effective schools emphasize self-knowledge, fearless and deeper learning, and respectful challenge for even the youngest students because all of these encourage a growth mindset. A robust Kindergarten program recognizes that a growth mindset is the key to a healthy child. Young children with a growth mindset typically are more resilient and have a stronger sense of their core self – who they are and what they value – so they can, in turn, empathize with others.
- Sets a strong foundation for social & emotional development: At a private Kindergarten, students learn to build relationships based on trust, support, and encouragement and this inspires them to be confident learners. Students at this young age need to gain confidence as learners in order to become experienced learners who can work collaboratively with their peers. Experienced learners, in turn, can successfully develop lifelong learning strategies and a love of learning.
- Builds confidence & collaboration: Teachers have the expertise and resources needed to work meaningfully and collaboratively with Kindergarten students to help them learn problem solving strategies that will assist them mathematically and phonetically as well as support them as they learn to establish and sustain meaningful relationships with classmates. With this guidance, Kindergarten students are able to become independent, inquisitive learners who set personal goals and gain the self-confidence needed to accept academic challenges and to help others.
- Provides higher level of care and builds a healthy, joyful environment: A low student-teacher ratio gives Kindergarten teachers the opportunity to create an environment in which each student is deeply known and valued so they are much more likely to engage, direct, and find joy in the learning process. Teachers can support students as individuals and design learning opportunities that appropriately challenge and stretch each learner. The individualized attention and guidance helps Kindergarten students who, at this young age, are still developing self-confidence and learning strategies to be kind friends.
- High tech facilities and classrooms to explore: A private Kindergarten offers a range of resources, including an extensive learning environment suited to Kindergarten students’ propensity to explore new ideas and the world around them. The comprehensive, challenging program stretches a young child by actively engaging them in a wide range of academic, artistic, athletic, and service enrichment opportunities. In order to understand the world and master more complex skills in this Age of Information, Kindergarten students need to have the knowledge and competency in every area of schooling.

A private school is a non-public school that conducts a program of kindergarten and at least grade one, or a program of any or all grades one through twelve. Approximately five hundred private schools operate in Washington, serving over 80,000 students.
Annual Reporting Requirements
Private schools are required to submit reports each year to comply with Washington state law. Two reports are required by the Washington State Board of Education, listed below. Several others are required by separate state agencies, including the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Department of Health.
- List of resources, including reporting that may need to be submitted to other agencies.
For the Washington State Board of Education:
- Enrollment Reporting. The official count day for private school enrollment is typically October 1, and reports are due in mid-November.
- Private School Approval. All private schools are approved annually each spring by the State Board of Education.
- Private School Approval one-page description.
How to Change Private School Information
Before the Approval Application Window: During the 2022 – 2023 school year, please use the Private School Change of Information Form if your Head of School or location has changed since you submitted your Approval Application. This will ensure continuity of communication from state agencies.
During the Approval Application Window: Each spring changes for the upcoming school year will be reported directly in the Approval Application, including a change to the name of your school. NOTE that schools with name changes will log in to the renewing private school application to indicate the new and previous names of the school.
You will log in to access the online Private School Change of Information Form:
- Username: The email address of your Head of School indicated on your 2022 – 2023 Approval Application.
- Password: Your School’s Building Code.
If you have trouble logging in, please contact the Private Schools Manager.
Change of Information Forms are reviewed and processed twice each month, on or near the 1st and 15th, and SBE records are immediately updated. Changes to your head of school or additional contacts will be reflected in OSPI’s EDS system within a week of processing, while changes to your address may take longer.
Emergency Waivers
In response to COVID-19 disruptions, the Spring 2022 emergency waiver program allows school districts to waive certain credit and subject area graduation requirements on an individual student basis for students who were on track to graduate. Schools whose educational program was disrupted so that the school will be unable to meet hour or day requirements may also waive this requirement. Schools who use this waiver program must notify the State Board of Education by filling out this Private School Emergency Waiver Notification.
To follow developments, please consult the Emergency Waiver Program page.
Please comply with your local health department, Department of Health, and Governor Inslee’s school closures guidelines.

Private Kindergarten Classroom
The Private Kindergarten classroom offers six primary learning areas to enhance each child’s skill development across a range of interests.
Dramatic Play Center
Using their imagination in pretend play allows children to develop social-emotional skills as they experiment with different roles.
Block Center
Children learn how different things work and fit together, by using a variety of materials to design and construct their own creations.
Fine Arts Center
Children develop creative, problem-solving, and self-expression skills, as they explore a variety of different art techniques and color concepts.
Science & Math Center
Children develop investigative and critical thinking skills, through experimenting and exploring science and math concepts.
Writing & Language Center
Children develop written communication skills by recognizing and forming letters and words, learning the sounds of words, and making words from sounds.
Library Center
Children develop significant literacy skills, including story reasoning, print awareness, and word recognition, as they engage with books.
Comprehensive Curriculum and Knowledge Areas
In the Private Kindergarten classroom, our degreed teacher leads a small group of learners. With nationally recognized, research-based curricula, your child will build a strong foundation and be prepared for first grade. Learning is a mix of independent and teacher-led experiences. Along the way, we measure your child development across these five key knowledge areas:
Language & Literacy
Letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and literacy comprehension are explored, either through independent activity or through group instruction (both large and small). Your child will learn about story concepts; discover how words are made; work on their own writing; learn how print works; how to express ideas; and how to expand their vocabulary.
Math
There are five different methods of math instruction: whole group instruction; collaborative learning; small group instruction; adaptive learning; and independent practice. Teachers use real-life comparisons to bring math concepts to life. These experiences help your child to strengthen their critical thinking and their problem-solving skills.
Social Studies
Getting to know the world around you is a great way to learn something new. These lessons explore concepts of time and places, and how to be respectful of others. Personal experiences and family stories and traditions all inform the learning experiences.
Science
In this section, children learn how to use the scientific method, how to observe local weather patterns, and how to describe patterns over time. In addition, we’ll learn about our environment and make discoveries about different animals and plants.
Self-Help & Social Skills
Many important skills make a child school-ready. These include holding a pencil with a proper grip; using scissors to cut pre-formed shapes; recognizing and following classroom routines and procedures; understanding another point of view; showing the ability to resolve conflicts; how to both follow directions and work independently; and being able to respect the rights of others.

Welcome to Alphabet!
We invite everyone who cares about the development of their children at the level of modern requirements in comfortable conditions to our private kindergarten in Nizhny Novgorod.
Alfavit commercial kindergarten is not just specialists in the field of pedagogy, child psychology and creativity. We are a team of like-minded people who know how and enjoy working with children. Just as words are formed from the letters of the native alphabet, so the future of our pupils is formed by particles of the attention and care of the staff.
How do we work? You can also use the service hour stay with exciting games and educational activities.
If your child needs a children’s speech therapist, you won’t have to look for a specialist outside the kindergarten in Nizhny Novgorod. Speech therapy classes are one of the areas of our work, and kids receive qualified help.
How many “spears have been broken” in disputes about kindergarten meals and overcrowded groups! All this has nothing to do with Alphabet. We have provided a cozy home environment, balanced and healthy food. Everything is transparent with us – information about the daily food menu is posted on the website in the public domain.
Teachers respect the uniqueness of each child, develop his abilities on the most trusting relationships with peers and adults. A professional child psychologist works in close cooperation with them – a specialist of this level is highly valued in Nizhny Novgorod.
Developmental and educational activities
The process is organized in many areas that are extremely important for very young children and older:
- development of fine and gross motor skills;
- game gymnastics and children’s fitness for future Olympic champions and record holders;
- we help young talents to reveal themselves in creative classes, in a theater group and a choreographic class.
We know how difficult it is for first-graders at school in the first days . Therefore, we try to prepare them as much as possible for such an important life step. Pedagogical practice has shown that preparation for school in kindergarten is necessary. The motto of the comprehensive preparatory course for preschoolers is “Learn easily and with pleasure!”
Educators use proven methods to help reinforce our graduates’ desire for knowledge and increase their motivation to learn. Children learn literacy, reading and mathematical fundamentals, learn about the world around them and the social environment.
Is teaching foreign languages justified or not at preschool age? We are sure – yes! After all, we are not talking about complex exercises and requirements. Learning English in kindergarten in a playful way is quite childish. Perhaps a future Russian diplomat is growing up in your family, and he receives initial training in the Alfavit paid kindergarten.
Our doors are open to all babies and their parents!
Your child will learn to communicate and make friends with us, acquire useful life skills and important knowledge, develop in creative and sports terms. Naive and timid crumbs come to us, and confident and prepared for school little citizens graduate.

Private kindergarten
Private kindergarten – a paid educational institution for children of preschool age. Thanks to the child’s stay in the group during the day, parents can painlessly solve the problems of their own employment. Kids play, eat, learn to count, write, read, develop physically and intellectually. Education is conducted by teachers with specialized education. A private kindergarten is an alternative to a municipal kindergarten if, for some reason, the child does not attend a public institution.
When did the first kindergartens appear?
The first kindergarten appeared two centuries ago in Scotland with the light hand of R. Owen. The idea of its creation was simple ─ experts came up with a school for kids. The new structure was called a kindergarten for the first time in Germany, where children were compared to the flowers of life. Based on the fact that flowers grow in the garden and require increased attention, educators introduced this concept into practice in 1837.
In the national history, the first kindergartens were launched in the 60s of the XIX century. These were private boarding houses, where only the children of people of the upper classes stayed. Kindergartens were incredibly expensive, so it was unrealistic for ordinary people to get into them. Kindergartens were opened all over Russia: in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Smolensk, Irkutsk and other cities. The groups included both boys and girls. They were located at educational institutions and were designed mainly to prepare children for school. The age of accepted children was 3-8 years.
Pros and cons of public kindergartens
Nowadays, parents can choose whether to send their child to a public or private kindergarten. The advantages of a state kindergarten include the absence of the need to pay a significant amount for the stay of a child in his age group. However, the rise in the birth rate in recent years has created difficulties in registering children in kindergartens when they reach 2-3 years of age. In order to go to a free-of-charge preschool without any problems, parents need to queue up. In addition, at the time of receiving the coveted ticket to the garden, there must be free places in it.
Benefits of the public kindergarten include:
- Minimum fee for pre-school services. The amount is approved at the legislative level and is strictly controlled by regulatory authorities. Some parents receive payment benefits. These categories include single mothers, large families, widows, etc.
- Location of the garden next to the house. Again, this is worth mentioning. A child may be offered a place in a remote kindergarten if the queue has come, but there were no places in a nearby institution.
If the kindergarten is located next to the house, most of the yard children go there. This means that they will all make friends with each other, and after graduation they will go to study mainly in the same school.
The shortcomings of the state kindergarten are also worth a closer look:
- A large number of people in groups (25-30 children). With such a crowd of people, babies are more susceptible to the development of infections and various diseases.
- The attention of the educator and nannies is not enough to explain to each kid the norms of behavior, and later the basics of the educational program. Insufficient quality of care and supervision of children as a result of overcrowded groups is another problem of free kindergartens.
- Standard meals that include regular foods. In the municipal kindergarten there is no choice in nutrition programs. Everyone eats the same food. A set of products guarantees the intake of vitamins in the body, but these vitamins are minimal.
If you want special attention to your child, better conditions in a preschool, and are willing to spend money on your child’s development, consider a private kindergarten. For many parents, it becomes a real salvation.
Advantages and disadvantages of a private kindergarten
If the family is not limited by financial expenses, the opportunity to send a child to a private kindergarten will help solve many problems. This is a good option for the baby to stay in specially organized conditions. Usually, the work schedule of private gardens differs from public institutions. If free gardens are open until 19.00, and rest on weekends, then paid children can stay until 21.00, and by agreement and subject to additional payment – around the clock.
An intensive development program is usually used in a private garden. There is a good material base, there are many games, books, visual aids. The institution undergoes special licensing, certification and accreditation for the right to work with preschool children. The advantages of private kindergartens are obvious:
- A small number of children in groups, which guarantees increased attention of teachers to each child.
- Simplified adaptation to kindergarten. Psychologists carefully monitor that the kids do not experience discomfort.
- Improved nutrition, a variety of dishes on the menu. Chefs take into account the requirements for a high content of vitamins and minerals, and also try to take into account the addiction of each kid to food.
- Individual approach to the child. Together with a teacher in private kindergartens, speech therapists, subject teachers, teachers of early creativity programs often work with children.
- The ability of parents to influence the educational process. Moms and dads can inspect the work of the group, kitchen workers. They have the right to ask questions about the spending of financial resources that are directed to the development of children.
In Nizhny Novgorod, there are many educational institutions with a step-by-step system for the transition of children from one level to another. Often one institution contains a kindergarten and a school in its structure. The lack of private kindergartens is actually one ─ the high cost of paying for services. If parents are not embarrassed by this fact, there are no other serious obstacles to registering a baby in a private structure.
Before sending a child to a paid kindergarten in Nizhny Novgorod, read the institution’s license to conduct the relevant activities, read the charter and service agreement (which is included in the list of services provided). Find out about the payment procedure and conditions for depositing funds. Ask the manager to give you a tour of the preschool, show the children’s rooms, classrooms for lessons, and the area for walking. Specify what educational programs are used in the upbringing of children, what requirements are imposed on the qualifications of teachers who conduct classes. Knowing the answers to these questions, you will be calm in making the final decision.

Private kindergartens: fire safety requirements
The problem of young working parents in day care, care, primary education of preschool children in cities and towns remains acute, as municipal and departmental children’s educational institutions are unable to solve it due to the constant lack of places . In recent years, private kindergartens, pre-school educational day-care centers that willingly accept children for a fee, which are organized and equipped by entrepreneurs, most often in rented buildings and premises, have become the best solution to the problem, a good alternative.
Many parents, not without reason, pay attention not only to the menu, pedagogical skills, experience of educators, but also to the issues of ensuring the safety of children left inside such preschool education facilities in case of fire.

Accommodation
There are several types of private kindergartens, classified by location: reconstructed for these tasks.
Without going into the quality of the process of education, recreation, nutrition of children in such rather different conditions, it is worth paying serious attention to the requirements of construction, including fire safety standards, codes of practice for ensuring safety in the design, construction and placement of private preschool educational institutions.
Norms and requirements
It is worth considering for each type of kindergarten location created by the efforts of private entrepreneurs in the wake of high demand.
First of all, these are separately located buildings, most often former state and departmental kindergartens, or construction objects for other purposes, including single-family residential buildings reconstructed (converted) for such purposes, as well as own or rented premises in public centers and apartment buildings.
Fire safety requirements for preschool education facilities are set out in several official documents:
- FZ-123, relating buildings, fire compartments, groups of rooms in them, which are functionally connected, preschool educational institutions to group F1.1 in terms of fire hazard class, on a par with hospitals, sleeping quarters of boarding schools, and other children’s organizations.
- SP 112.13330, approved in 2011, on fire safety of construction projects.
- SP 4.13130, entered into force in 2013, on the requirements for design solutions to limit the development of fire at protected facilities.
- SP 251.1325800, approved in 2016, on the rules for the design of buildings for preschool educational organizations.
- Code of Practice 118.13330, issued in 2012, on public construction projects.
- SP 54.13330, approved in 2016 – on multi-apartment residential buildings.
- “PPR in the Russian Federation”, which are the basic rules of fire safety.
Depending on the location of the preschool institution, certain requirements of the above construction, fire safety regulations, and safety regulations apply.

In public buildings
Private, as well as municipal, children’s educational institutions can be attached, built into public buildings, including giving them separate floors, their parts.
In all cases, the group of premises of the kindergarten must be located in an independent fire compartment with emergency exits, comply with fire safety standards.
In multi-apartment buildings
Kindergartens built into multi-apartment buildings according to design solutions must be distinguished by solid fire barriers.
When placing private kindergartens on the first floors of apartment buildings, it is not required to separate them with fire barriers, highlighting a fire compartment, under the following conditions:
Conclusion: if the number of children in a private institution placed in an apartment does not exceed 10, then the premises are not subject to increased fire safety requirements, but are standard for residential premises. Otherwise, a second exit must be made.
It should also not be forgotten that, regardless of location, all buildings, premises of private children’s institutions must be protected by fire alarm installations with sensitive smoke detectors and equipped with fire extinguishers.
Maximum care. How to choose the right private kindergarten? | Situation | SOCIETY
There are many reasons why parents decide to send their children to private kindergartens. Maybe you are not satisfied with the quality of services and education, or you have been standing in line for a municipal kindergarten for too long. If you have definitely decided to send your child to a private kindergarten or are just thinking about it, the co-founder of the network of kindergartens and schools “Consent” Maria Higer answered all the important questions and told what to look for when choosing a preschool institution.
How to determine the cost?
First, decide how much you are willing to pay for a child. Don’t waste your time looking at kindergartens that cost more than your monthly salary to support a child.
Where should the kindergarten be located?
Decide how far you are willing to take your baby. If the road will take the whole working day, then it might be worth looking for something closer.
How to choose an educational program?
Decide what you are willing to pay for. Maybe you only need babysitting during the day, and you plan to take the baby separately for all kinds of activities. If you want to get the whole range of services in one place, then make sure that the kindergarten has: mathematics, speech development, fiction, familiarization with the environment, ecology, English, physical education, exercise therapy, fine arts, TRIZ, manual labor, training literacy (oral and written), rhythm, logorhythm, speech therapy and classes with a psychologist.
Kindergarten-school “Consent” Photo: Kindergarten-school “Consent”
Which form of education is preferable?
It is very important that the lessons are conducted individually. Even if the groups are small.
Should I pay attention to a special entertainment program?
If you are a rather busy person, it will not be bad if children from the kindergarten are taken to parks at least occasionally and invite artists from different theaters to perform performances from the repertoires.
How to make sure teachers are qualified?
Also make sure the qualifications of each teacher: education, general teaching experience and work experience in this institution. It is very important that the teacher works according to the profile. That is, a nursery educator with a preschool education should work with a 2-year-old baby, and not a computer science teacher from a university.
How to check the qualifications of a methodologist?
Perhaps the most important is the qualification of a methodologist. You can go to a kindergarten without a methodologist only at your own peril and risk. You wouldn’t sail on a ship without a captain, would you? Please note that here we are talking about a methodologist with a higher preschool education and with extensive work experience, and not about the director and, moreover, not about the owner of a private kindergarten. And these should be different people, because if the owner is a methodologist, then the solution of everyday, legal, advertising and organizational tasks simply will not leave time for high-quality methodological work with teachers, and after all, it is important for us not only what, but also how our students are taught. children.

What are the duties of a doctor in kindergarten?
If your child goes to the kindergarten for a full day, then there should be a doctor in the kindergarten. Moreover, he should appear there daily. This is the elementary safety of your baby and medical control over the cooks, the quality of products, the cleanliness of the premises, the cleanliness and frequency of processing toys, auxiliary workers, the brightness and flickering of lamps in lamps, the production of germicidal lamps. The physician must also draw up a menu, including an individual menu for children who need it, prepare herbal teas, oxygen cocktails and organize recreational activities (hardening, exercise therapy, etc.), as well as simply notice a sick child in time and provide him with qualified assistance, while parents go for the baby.
Is it important that the kindergarten has its own playground?
A big problem for kindergartens that do not have their own separate building is areas for walking. Of course, sites that are closed to everyone else are extremely rare. And the cleaning, which is carried out by the employees of the housing office, is not enough to keep the playground clean. Therefore, you really need your own janitor, who cleans the territory right before each walk of the children. In general, if you pay, then you should clearly understand what for.
Kindergarten-school “Consent” Photo: Kindergarten-school “Consent”
How do you know that the kindergarten has a good reputation?
Pay attention to the duration of existence of the institution to which you plan to entrust your child. Of course, the popularity and solidity of the brand are very important, but reliability is more important, because the best judge, as you know, is time. It is good if the kindergarten survived 2 serious economic crises (1998 and 2008) and has at least 3 branches. Then you will be more likely to hope that the educational institution will withstand the next blow to our economy. For example, “Consent” has 15 branches in Yekaterinburg.
Should you listen to the recommendations of friends and acquaintances?
We would not advise you to rely 100% on the opinions of other people when choosing a kindergarten. After all, you must admit that if you, even with your best friend, choose a dress, then something that she categorically did not like will suit you. What can we say about such an important and complex issue as choosing a kindergarten for your baby. Of course, if your friends strongly advise you some kind of kindergarten, then you should see it, but you need to fully rely only on your own impressions of what you see.

Strict security kindergarten | Draft
Makhachkala’s “Super Kids” Kindergarten for Children with Developmental Disabilities has come under the spotlight after a video of a teacher beating a child with autism was made public. How frequent this phenomenon is in private kindergartens, the Government of the Republic of Dagestan understood, and in this particular case, the chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to initiate a criminal case.
As for the kindergarten itself, where a case of a beating of an autistic child was recorded, as it turned out, this was not the first case of cruelty in its practice.
Chernovik contacted Diana Murklinskaya , the mother of the beaten boy. Her son’s name is Daniyal , he is 5 years old and autistic.
“His peculiarity lies in the fact that he does not speak, does not understand the addressed speech”, – explains the boy’s mother.
Parents, residents of Moscow, decided not to interrupt the corrective development of the child, which takes place all the time, and for the duration of their stay in Dagestan they found a kindergarten suitable for this. Therefore, in early May of this year, Daniyal’s mother agreed with the head of the Alibekova’s step about taking the boy to the kindergarten. He visited one of the three branches of the kindergarten, located on Imam Shamil Avenue. There, as they were promised, appropriate classes are held with the children, a diet is observed.
It is worth noting that the garden is paid, the price depends on what classes the child attends and how long he spends in the garden. So, the approximate price for a minimum of classes and a part-time visit can be from 25 thousand. The figures can reach 40 thousand per month, one of the parents told us.
At first, the boy’s mother recalls, the child was happy to attend the kindergarten, but after that the attitude changed: “Closer to August, I began to notice undesirable behavior in him. He hid his clothes so that we would not take him to the garden, began to lose weight, bit his fingernails and toenails until they bled, and peed in his pants in the garden, although he does not do this at home. He began to hit himself on the head and was frightened of us when we approached sharply. All this, of course, raised doubts, but I was reassured by the fact that he might be naughty, many children do not like kindergartens … “
Murklinskaya decided to take her child to kindergarten, despite her whims, until the end of the month. But on August 24, she came to pick up her son from the garden a little earlier than usual. Not finding the administrator at the entrance, she went up to the group’s office and heard her child crying. The boy’s mother notes that she was ready for the teacher to scold the child for bad behavior and he might cry, but clearly did not expect what happened.
“I heard crying and the words of the teacher: ‘‘Shut your mouth, I told you. She turned to her son, took him out of the office and stumbled upon me. She turned pale, began to call many versions that he had hit, he was indulging, ” – says the mother.
While teacher Luiza Khaybulaeva was choosing versions of what had happened, Daniyal ran up to his mother, and she noticed that there were redness on his forehead, cheek and neck. She began to ask about these marks, and she was told that the child hit the children’s swing.
Murklinskaya went home with her son, and only the next day she returned to the garden and demanded to see the recordings from the surveillance cameras.
Not the first time
The administrator, who showed her the recordings, is sure the mother of the injured child was already aware of what had happened, as she scrolled through the recordings in such a way as to skip the beatings. But Murklinskaya took the phone and watched the video shortly before she arrived and heard the baby crying.
The video showed how Khaibulaeva takes Daniyal to an empty room, where she beats her with her hands and kicks her. At the same time, a cleaner is in the room, who vacuums and does not pay attention to what is happening.
The shocked mother made a scandal in the garden, after which the manager Alibekova was called there.
“For about an hour they tried to beg us not to call the police, the teacher was on her knees, pulled the phone out of her hands, begged not to break her life, said that she had lost her temper,” – said Murklinskaya, who, in the process of these persuasion, heard from Khaibulaeva, that such breakdowns with the teacher have already happened.
The moment when Luiza Khaibulaeva asks the family of the injured boy not to ruin her life, the boy’s mother recorded it on video as a confession and sent it to the chat of the parents whose children also go to this kindergarten.
Initially, says Murklinskaya, her parents did not believe her, since Khaibulaeva was in good standing with her parents. The mother of the injured boy herself initially did not allow the thought of maltreatment by Khaibulaeva: “Initially, she recommended herself as a very kind educator, everyone was delighted with her. I had a hard time believing it myself. Even when she went to watch the cameras, I was sure that she did not touch him, I wanted to see how he hit, for my peace of mind.
Upon learning that the video of her apology had been sent to the chat, Khaibulaeva wrote a counterclaim against the mother of the boy she had beaten for disseminating “information discrediting honor, dignity and business reputation.” The teacher was fired from the kindergarten, this was the only suggestion of the kindergarten management, notes Daniyal’s mother.
The family of the injured boy wrote applications to the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Dagestan of the Leninsky District of Makhachkala, to the Prosecutor’s Office of Makhachkala for the Leninsky District, and also to the Prosecutor’s Office of Dagestan.
This resonant case, which caused a reaction on social networks, attracted the attention of the chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin , he instructed and. about. Head of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Dagestan Dmitry Belyaev to organize an investigation into the fact of beating a child.
As a result of an audit, a criminal case was opened against Luiza Khaibulaeva under the article “Improper performance of duties for the upbringing of a minor by an employee of an educational organization” (Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
“Chernovik” tried to get a comment from the management of the private kindergarten “Super Kids”, but they said they gave an official comment, but did not specify where.
On the kindergarten’s Instagram page (*social network banned in Russia – “Cheka” ) the editors found a comment on the incident that happened a month ago: “Mom was provided with cameras on the same day. The teacher was fired the same day. Also, cameras with records for a week were handed over to the authorities. Let the guilty answer for the deed to the fullest extent. We have set up online monitoring of all employees in order to avoid this. The responsibility lies entirely with us. Not mothers, but management should provide control on the cameras. We are very sorry that we allowed this situation to happen.”
Perhaps this is in the view of the kindergarten management and there is their official comment…
“She hurt herself”
However, as it became known later, this was not the first case of beating in this private garden. A similar case was with daughter Madina Makhmudova , whose daughter Amina is also a child with special needs.
The branch of the kindergarten “Super kids”, which Amina Makhmudova attended, is located in Makhachkala on the street. Batyray.
“The correctional garden, there were various activities for the girl. I drove mainly to visit a speech therapist, and I thought, society, children. Despite her developmental delay, she is a very affectionate and understanding child,” says the mother and recalls the day when her daughter returned from the garden with bruises.
“On the morning of July 27, I brought her to the kindergarten absolutely healthy, without bruises. Three hours later she asked her husband to pick it up. He calls me as soon as he picks me up and says that he noticed a swollen nose, ” – says Madina and clarifies that the man did not have time to ask the garden workers about the reasons for the swollen nose, since the child was brought to him in a hurry. Already at home, while changing the girl’s clothes, Makhmudova found bruises on her arms.
“I was shocked. How? Why? What happened? I immediately took a photo of (available to the editors – “Cheka” ), sent to the nanny, teacher, began to ask what happened? – says Makhmudova, but none of the staff and management of the kindergarten could explain why the girl had bruises. They promised to look at the cameras.
Recordings were not provided to Makhmudova immediately, they referred to a malfunction. And later they sent only a small video where her daughter is sitting near a balcony with balusters, and announced the version that the girl could stick her hand between them, from which she was left with bruises. The corresponding video was not provided. But after the girl’s mother threatened the garden with the police, she was shown all the videos. On them, Makhmudova saw footage of one of the nannies hitting the children on the hands with a stick, but she did not see her daughter among these children.
“And I saw how she hits a big ball on which a child with cerebral palsy is sitting, the child falls, and she laughs, for her it’s like a joke”, – Makhmudova recalled and added that she told other parents about the video, so that they take action, but none of the parents began to check her words.
The name of the nanny with the stick was Aishat , and later she was fired from the kindergarten for mistreating children. Makhmudova tried to ask the nanny outside the garden, she said that she beat the children for the educational process, but Amina was not among them. The leadership of the garden continued to put forward various versions of what happened, and the mother had only a photo of bruises on her daughter’s hands and an examination report, which says that these marks on the child’s hand were from the “impact of a blunt solid object” (the examination report is presented to the editors – “ChK” ). Makhmudov did not write a statement to law enforcement agencies, since she did not manage to get video confirmation of her daughter’s beatings in a private garden.
Now that it became known about the beating of Daniyal in another branch of the kindergarten, Makhmudova hopes that those responsible for beating her child will be punished.
“Everywhere I write this, I say it, I attach a photo. I want to ensure that this garden is closed, because if you don’t know how to look after special children, don’t open such a garden, ” – Makhmudova voiced her position.
It is worth noting that the SC of the IC for RC reported on checking the quality of services provided in the children’s institution. On September 16, at a meeting of the commission of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan on the affairs of minors and the protection of their rights, Oleg Potanin, , deputy head of the Investigative Committee of the ICR for RD , noted that there are problems in Dagestan with the regulation of the work of private kindergartens.
According to him, there is a “big omission in the law” according to which the owner of an unlicensed kindergarten can get away with a fine and reopen the same institution.
According to the Ministry of Education, the private kindergarten “Super Kids” is not licensed. ]§[
