Songs & Fingerplays

My Hat It Has 3 Corners

My hat it has 3 corners.

(form triangle above head)

Three corners has my hat.

If it did not have 3 corners,

(raise 3 fingers fingers)

It would not be my hat.

(shake head sideways)

Arts & Crafts

Three Cornered Hat

Cut three 12″ X 3″ strips of construction paper for each child. Let the children make three-cornered hats like the ones worn in George Washingtons Day. Have each child staple together the ends of the three strips of construction paper(making a triangle). Children can then wear their hats for their other activities.

Log Cabin

Draw a simple picture of a log cabin. Have the children glue cinnamon sticks on the picture to represent the logs. Finally, glue a penny in the door of the cabin.

Lincoln Collage

Cut out a large profile of Lincoln using a sheet of construction paper. Trace around a pattern & cut out. Let the children glue on small pieces of red, white & blue objects. (cotton balls, tissue paper, crepe paper, wallpaper, stickers, confetti, glitter, etc…)

Coin Bracelet

Lay 2 pennies and a quarter on a strip of clear contact paper.
Fold it over and wrap around each child’s wrist as a bracelet.

~Submitted by Susan in Texas

American Flag

Have children make an American flag. Have them paint several tongue depressors red. Cut a blue paper square about 1/4 the size of a sheet of white paper. Glue it in the left-hand corner. When sticks are dry, glue them on the page making a red stripe, then the white paper, another red and continue on. Have the children glue cotton balls on the blue part to be stars. Even if the children don’t want to do the typical American flag–that’s fine! They can create their own tribute to our country! Just have fun!

Theme Ideas

President’s Day Coin Game – (play like Simon Says)

A child flips a penny or quarter and if the president’s head turns up the child may call out something for the class to do, i.e. clap your hands. The coin is passed to another child and the game continues until all children have been able to flip the coin.

~Submitted by Jackie in Indiana

Game – Chop Down The Cherry Tree

Sit in a circle. One player is the Cherry Tree, who stands in the center of the circle with eyes covered. The adult chooses one player to touch Cherry Tree & say,”Chop, chop. ” Cherry Tree falls down gently & player returns to place in the circle. All players then say with deep voices, “Who chopped the cherry tree?” Cherry Tree
opens eyes & guesses who it was. That player then becomes Cherry Tree, & the game is repeated. We laugh a lot while playing this!

Create giant coins from cardboard–at least two of each kind. (Laminate them or cover them with contact paper if you wish to keep them from year to year.) Put the giant coins on the floor and march around them while playing music. When the music stops have the kids pick up the coin in front of them and try to match it to a friend’s coin. This activity is good for learning the names of coins as well as the presidents on them.

Literary Hoots: Storytime: Presidents’ Day

This storytime was for a preschool-aged group at my library.

Read Aloud Books

John, Paul, George & Ben Written and illustrated by Lane Smith

John Hancock, Paul Revere, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson all had important roles to play in the revolution, roles they learned early on in their childhood. As a huge fan of the Beatles, this book made me very happy. In terms of learning about our founding fathers, it was pretty good–stretching the truth, of course, but still good. And it was hilarious. The kids loved the part where I yelled “underwear.”

My Teacher for PresidentWritten by Kay Winters, illustrated by Denise Brunkus

A rather perfectly simple look at the different responsibilities the president has as part of his job. Similar to a teacher, there’s meetings to attend, fights to end, media to handle, and a big white house to live in. It was just the right length for preschoolers.

I am Abraham Lincoln
Written by Brad Meltzer, illustrated by Christopher Eliopoulos

It turns out these books (the Ordinary People Change the World books) are rather long. But they are biographies of a sort, so it is worth it. In this case, we ran out of time to read the whole book, so I just read a couple of pages–a story or two from Abraham Lincoln’s life. I liked the book because it is cartoon-ish and geared towards the younger folk.

Songs and Rhymes

Hello Song

Song: “Who Was the First President?”

(Tune: London Bridges)

Who was the first president,

President, president,

Who was the first president

Of our country?

Washington was first president,

First president, first president,

Washington was first president

Of our country!
(credit here)

Song: “Mr. Lincoln”

(Tune: If You’re Happy and You Know It)

Mr. Lincoln, Mr. Lincoln,

You were brave.

Mr. Lincoln, Mr. Lincoln,

You were good.

You stood for what was right,

You did not give up the fight,

Mr. Lincoln, you were brave,

You were good!

Mr. Lincoln, Mr. Lincoln,

You were brave.

Mr. Lincoln, Mr. Lincoln,

You were good.

You served our country well,

Your praises we will tell,

Mr. Lincoln, you were brave,

You were good!

Song: “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

(seemingly random, yes, but it has to do with the craft

and it was nice to give the kids a song they knew well)

Goodbye Song

Games and Activities

Flannel Board: The Money Game!

For this activity, I printed off some money (yay counterfeit!) extra large. We sang a little song about who was on each (which can take a long time, so we actually only sung about Abe on the penny/$5 and George on the quarter/$1).

Song: “Do You Know Who’s on the Penny?”

(Tune: Mary Had a Little Lamb)

Do you know who’s on the penny, on the penny, on the penny?

Do you know who’s on the penny?

Abraham Lincoln!

Do you know who’s on the quarter, on the quarter, on the quarter?

Do you know who’s on the quarter?

George Washington!

I put all the money on the flannel board, and we played a fun game where I hid an actual penny behind one of the bills/coins. It looked like this: (Velcro is wonderful)

So I hide the penny, and the kids shout out where they think it’s hiding (e.g. “under the nickel!”). So we say this rhyme together:

Penny, penny where do you hide?
Are you under the nickel?

…or
Are you under the dime?
Are you under the quarter?
Are you under the 1 dollar bill?
Are you under the 5 dollar bill?
Are you under the 10 dollar bill?

And then I lift up the nickel and the kids moan if they’re wrong or cheer if they’re right. They love it and have a lot of fun with this game. Plus, it helped the kids identify what a quarter vs nickel looked like or a 5 dollar vs 10 dollar bill. And, I taught them the sign language for each of the bills/coins. We did the ASL action as we said the rhyme together. So fun and learning all around!

Here are the pictures I printed off for the game: (click for larger version)

Craft Activity: Star Pendants! (credit here)

Basically, you cut a bunch of stars from red, white, and blue paper and have some pennies ready! (Shiny ones worked best). The kids got to design their pendant and glue a penny onto it (yes, I did have to make sure each kid only took one). The kids wore them with pride! But really, I think they just loved the penny…

Montessori Inspired Activities for President’s Day

This is a great week for some fun and enriching activities that introduce children to the Presidents of the United States.  So, if you are looking for some President’s Day classroom ideas, you’ve come to the right place. Here is a collection of 100 plus Montessori inspired activities for celebrating President’s Day, all created by some of the web’s best Montessori bloggers.

Deb Chitwood’s fantastic blog, Living Montessori Now, brings us this awesome collection of Montessori inspired, President’s Day themed activities in these four fun-filled, fantastic blog posts:

Free President Songs and Rhymes for Circle Time “These are songs that I’ve found online for teachers and childcare providers. They are also great if you’re a homeschooler or parent supplementing your child’s learning at home. And I think they’re lots of fun for grandparents and anyone who enjoys spending time with a special child,” explains Deb.

I gotta say, I wish I had sung the President Song to my kids when they were in that “absorbent mind stage. ” They would have retained that info so easily! Now, in middle-school, they complain that it is so difficult to memorize all those names!

Meeghan Mousaw of Mrs. Karle’s Sight and Sound Reading has come up with some great lesson ideas in her blogpost: Presidents Day Lesson Plan for Kindergarten or First Grade.

Marnie, from Carrots are Orange, brings us her clever crafts for President’s Day in this blog post simply entitled: President’s Day Activities. I think many of us can relate when Marnie said, “Like you, I jump at the opportunity to teach my children. Special occasions and holidays allow for this sort of learning and work well because the learning is holistic. You can weave in many basic concepts while teaching a far more complex concept or topic.”

Montessori home-schooler and Every Star is Different blogger, Renae, shares her excellent ideas in this President’s Day blog.  Renae “decided to focus on U.S. Presidents that are placed on our coins for many of our activities, however, the kids being so young, didn’t really know who the U. S. Presidents were, or what their names were.  This activity was designed to help them learn these things.  There are pictures of the four presidents with names an then pictures of the four presidents only, and names only.  Obviously one could add more U.S. Presidents.”

I hope you enjoy a few of these fun and education activities! And have a very safe and happy President’s Day!

Dramateshka – Songs-alterations for Teacher’s Day

To the motive “It’s great that we all gathered here today.”

We have matured by a year.
Let the year – not so much,
In the soul each
aspired to sky-high heights.
And now it’s time, perhaps,
We take stock.
It’s great that we’re all here
We’ve gathered today.
Let the difficulties in bulk,
We will overcome everything.
But only without each other
We can hardly do without.
Life is more beautiful with a friend
And much more fun.
It’s great that we’re all here
We’ve gathered today.
Let someone not consider
Our holiday an anniversary,
And we stubbornly believe:
Now another life.
Let’s dream
In the circle of Lyceum friends.
It’s great that we’re all here
We’ve gathered today.

To the motive “Such an illusion” (Spanish duet “Taste of honey”)

Eyes run wide,
Soul is torn,
And everything is called –
Whims of fate.
And yet an illusion,
With secret bonds,
Lyceum bonds
We are married.
And life goes on,
And no matter how much toil,
We believe that we will break out
From all the mess.
Such an illusion,
With secret bonds,
Lyceum bonds
We are married.
All is forgiven to friends,
They do not repent forever.
Strengthen our union again
Hearts and minds.
Such an illusion,
With secret bonds,
Lyceum bonds
We are married.
Words of gratitude
We give you joy,
With your attention
Not deprived.
Such an illusion,
With secret bonds,
Lyceum bonds
We are married.

On the motive “Lieutenant Golitsyn”

The fourth day I solve the problem,
My hair turned gray, my mustache grew.
Bring food! Otherwise I’ll pay,
At least bring a crust of bread and water.
And now bastard from these newtons,
In the eyes of only joules, rather joules.
A pillow at home without any protons,
The way home was covered with snow.
All nerves are like strings, brains are at the limit,
All the power of proteins boils in the hair.
I get “three” – goosebumps on the body.
Thank you Lord! And God save you!

To the motive “I kissed you” (Spanish: A. Pugacheva)

An idea was born at once,
So unexpectedly unexpectedly.
What I dream about the pedklass,
I came to tell Kaptan.
He plunged into thought
(I assumed this),
but for agreeing,
I would kiss him.
Here it is, such a desirable class,
We had to tinker with it.
How she praised and scolded,
I still dream at night.
But all the time it seemed to me:
It’s not enough, not enough, not enough.
If you tried harder,
I would kiss you.
Conduct experiments
I will never get tired.
Interesting moments
Were in the class all the time.
But all the time it seemed to me,
It’s not enough, not enough, not enough.
If we tried harder,
I would kiss everyone.

To the melody of the song “What You Were, You Remained Like”, music. Dunayevsky.

“What you were, you didn’t remain the same,
Our Trudovik is so dear.
Why, why, why did you get in touch with difficulty,
Why did you disturb your peace?
You were handsome, handsome and very slender,
And you went to the lesson with a soul,
Where, where, where did everything go?
You sometimes come angry.
Forget insults, all your suffering
And turn your face to us,
What you were, so you will remain
And be forever good soul.

To the melody of the song “Katyusha”

“Flowers bloomed in the garden,
And the onion ripened already in the garden.
Went out to the garden…
Gathered girls around.
Oh, dear girls,
The harvest is really rich.
Worked well, worked hard,
And the director is undoubtedly happy.
You accustomed us to work, to work,
Though sometimes we were lazy.
And today we congratulate you
And wish you happiness from the bottom of our hearts!”

To the melody of the song “Someone went down the hill”

“Here someone went down the hill,
Yes, our director is coming.
Strict, beautiful, and her gait…
She will drive me crazy.
Director knows a lot,
To whom, when and what to say.
She and the knowledge about the map
promises to pass on to us.
We are extremely grateful to you
For the fact that you were and are.
To become a student of your school
It has always been a great honor”

To the melody of the song “Don’t cry, girl”

“As if the winds from the mountains blew a gathering for you,
The road to the walls of the school is far away.
And yet be brave
Walk a worthy path,
And we will support you, as always.
Do not lose heart, years will pass,
And we love you forever.
Our beautiful, kind teacher,
Trust us, dear,
Trust us, Sash!

To the melody of the song “Am I to blame…”

“Am I to blame, am I to blame,
Am I to blame for teaching.
Is it my fault that I love all the guys
And do I want to give them all the knowledge?
Guilty for everything, guilty all around,
Do you still want to justify yourself?
So why, why many years ago
Agreed to give lessons?
I agreed myself, I agreed myself,
And without knowledge, guys, where to go?
May I be guilty, may I be guilty,
My life has not passed in vain.

To the melody of the song “A young agronomist went out into the fields”

“My dear teacher came to the lesson,
He said: “Life safety is a young subject.”
Your lesson is good, you are my teacher,
I love you with all my childish soul.
And he always hurries to the lesson as soon as possible,
There is no one dearer in his lesson,
We will study everything, sing instructions,
This is how we live happily.
He will not leave us, these school fields,
He comes here as to his bride.
You are good, our beloved, dear,
We love you with all our children’s soul.

To the melody of the song “Disaster has green eyes…”

“And your eyes are green,
They won’t forgive, they won’t spare.
I walk with my head bowed,
Guilty I hide my eyes.
And so timidly I will come out to the blackboard
And I will cry over myself.
How I love you! Up to madness!
Why such pain?
We met at the lesson,
By fate, not by malice,
And I only remember from the lesson
A comma and a dash.
And so timidly I will come out to the blackboard,
And I will cry over myself.
How I love you! Up to madness!
Why such pain?

To the melody of the sands “Moscow Evenings”

“Why are you looking sideways, dear,
Bowing your head low?
It is difficult to express and not to express
Everything that is in my heart.
And confessions are getting more sincere,
So, please, be kind.
Don’t forget our children’s
These sonorous voices.

To the melody of the song “What they teach at school”

“Write different letters
With a thin pen in a notebook
You taught us,
You taught us (2 times),
Do not scold or fight,
Do not be offended by friends
You taught us
You taught us. Add 2 to 4
And we believed you,
Well, and you, of course, us.
We learned a lot together,
We sang a lot.
And today on such a day
We wish, like a native,
The kindest and smartest0004 Children for you”

To the melody “Songs about disturbing youth”

“Your care is simple,
Your care is such –
Learn to draw without erasing,
And there are no other worries.
Chorus:
And laughter, and grief,
And the river stream tears.
My heart is calling me again
Calling me to the lesson again”

To the melody of the song “Will there be more…”

“More and more of us will be loaded
For some reason they began to,
Today every class at school
Like an institute:
Tangent, leg, alphabet
Plus the hypotenuse,
Well, tell me why
All this burden.
Chorus:
Will it still be,
Will it still be,
Will it still be,
Oh-oh-oh.
We will decide again,
Wet with sweat.
Prove the theorem
Before all the people.
There will be a deuce, there will be five,
Three or “ring”.
There will be a large tear
Roll down the cheek.
Chorus:…

To the melody of the song “There are so many golden lights on the streets of Saratov”

“Of course, there is no one like you
Neither in Dymkovo, nor further,
Entertain children and sing with them –
Not an idle occupation. The last two lines – 2 times.
They need to explain a lot,
So that they don’t waste their time.
Today praise and honor to you
From the younger of all those brethren. The last two lines – 2 times.

To the melody of the song “Hope”

“Let a new star rise,
And the school year has already begun,
Children are in front of you today
And teaching, of course, is important.
You just need to love us guys.
Be more attentive, stricter,
To receive as a token of attention
Songs and poems, and flowers too.
Chorus:
Hope – you are the earth’s compass,
luck is your reward for courage.
And we sing to you today,
So that only happiness can be sung”

To the melody of the song “How my mother saw me off”

“Somehow we went through chemistry,
How much new knowledge has come to us! (2 times)
We know all acids, bases,
That brought us a lot of suffering (2 times).
We conducted the experiment, conducted it,
Acid and acid were merged together. (2 times)
We were amazed at what we did,
This knowledge spoke for us (2 times).
We know a lot of things, we teach a lot,
Honestly, we will teach all lazy people (2 times)
And we say thank you for your care,
We bow low to you for your work! (2 times).

To the melody of the song “Pedlars”
(“Oh, the box is full. ..”).

“Oh, our little head is full –
There is knowledge about history.
About Russia – our native side
We can’t count them all! The last two lines – 2 times.

To the melody of the song “Oh, the viburnum blossoms in the field near the stream.”

“Here Tatyana (Aleksandrovna) stands timidly at the blackboard,
Says to Seryozha: Look, my dear,
Look more carefully, keep your eyes sharp,
Well, please answer, well, answer “3”!
Serezhenka is deaf and dumb, not in the vocabulary:
“Tanya Alexandrovna, I’m not ready.
This mathematics is too tough for me,
Let it give you pleasure.

To the melody of the song “God! officers “O. Gazmanova.

Lord teachers! On strained nerves
I’ll tune the guitar and sing you a song,
How to solve problems and teach children.
You are growing your shift for the Motherland.
Gentlemen, teachers! Let your soul not hurt
Evil mistrust of unkind people.
It’s not for the sake of the salary, the one that is only for pantyhose,
You stand for hours at the blackboard.
Chorus:
Teachers, teachers!
You are standing on the threshold,
Closing the door with your chest
with universal evil.
God grant you patience,
Moods and luck
Resist in the heavy struggle to break.
Lord teachers! share your soul
And the ability to become worthy in life.
What can you do if in our sinful country
Unfortunately, few people want to become a teacher.
You can’t leave the school, because you can’t leave
Our grown-up little ones that have become relatives.
Do not live without tricks, sometimes even malicious ones,
Firmly believing in luck and in our children.
Chorus:

To the melody of the song “Green-Eyed Taxi” from the repertoire of M. Boyarsky

So only fatigue remained.
The husband will ask again: “Where are you?”
Chorus:
Oh-oh-oh-oh, green-eyed taxi.
Oh-oh-oh-oh, slow down, slow down.
Oh-oh-oh-oh, you take me there.
Oh-oh-oh-oh, where they will always welcome me.

Eight lessons through the window,
Here I would fall asleep at least a little.

Chorus:

At home – work, children, care.
You won’t refuse them, you won’t sleep.

Chorus:

Take care of yourself – swing, sing,
Learn lessons, swarm the earth, but sing better.

To the melody of the song “Winter Dream” from Alsou’s repertoire

The day is getting shorter, winter is closer,
It’s completely dark at nine.
That’s it! Summer is over,
And winter is breathing through the windows.
Before I had time to look back.
Summer flew by like a dream.
It’s a pity that you can’t return to it
And it doesn’t repeat itself.
Chorus:
And now a new class has appeared,
I saw everything myself,
Having checked the first works, –
Plague, plague!
They wrote me this,
I almost went crazy.
How to live now,
What will I do?
How we went on the day of health,
We put on a gas mask,
Pulled ourselves up on the horizontal bar,
Thank God, more than once.
They galloped in hoops, sacks,
Far away with a grenade,
They sang our school song,
Sending everyone easily to knockout.

Chorus:
Now that we’re closer,
I saw everything myself:
They’re normal guys
Very, very.
Their showy bravado
In fact, just scales.
It’s good that I see it.
God, save and save me!

To the melody of the song “Am I to blame”

Am I to blame, am I to blame
That I’m not friends with physics?
That neither Newton, nor Curie, nor Kobzon have ever been close to me?
Oh you, my mother! Oh you, my mother!
You can no longer scold me,
If it’s not given to me, well, it’s not given
Electricity to understand the topic.
My teachers! My teachers!
Is it too much to ask?
Not four, not five, just tearfully asking
-Let me write off the three.

To the melody of the song “Lanfren-lanfra” from the film “Midshipmen, forward!”

I came here to study,
And I have one problem:
I didn’t learn English at school
And I didn’t go to classes.
And now, no matter what,
Not a word is familiar to me,
And I’m sitting at the lesson,
I look longingly at the book.
La-la-la…
Oh, if only I could turn back time
And look into the fifth class like that,
Where there were only “hey, bi, si,
Table, maee, san, kam hia”,
Alas, but it doesn’t happen like that…
I’ll get into trouble again,
When the teacher tells me:
“Cam blackboard, dear Vitya!”
La-la-la…

To the melody of the song “You are not more beautiful” by Y. Antonov.

For me there is no more beautiful you,
But I catch your eye in vain:
Like a vision, elusive
Between desks you pass by.

Chorus:
And I repeat again and again:
“You, not physics. .. You, not physics… You are only my love!”
I’m just a green kid for you.
And not in you, but in love with an object.
And everything is vague in my eyes,
I adore you, Mary Ivanna.
Chorus.

But I believe that the day will come,
And the ice will melt in your eyes.
I will receive a certificate or a certificate,
And love will get better.
Chorus.

To the melody of the song “Knot” from the repertoire of A. Apina.

Somehow I fell in love with Ildar,
And I wrote about it on the wall.
I put what happened on my own into words,
And then I put it on the wall.

Chorus:
The classroom swears, and the supply manager swears,
And my love only flares up stronger.

I could, of course, write on the desk
Or finish the marker on the walls in the corridor.
Wrote very modestly in the toilet,
Not even dreaming that you would come there.
Chorus:…
How did I deserve such fame
And staked out a place for myself in the newspaper?
And now my love has almost faded away,
It can be seen that I have soiled the wall in vain.
Chorus:…

To the melody of the song “Bouquet” from A. Barykin’s repertoire.

“I will drive the blizzard for a long, long time,
I just can’t do it any other way.
After all, I didn’t take the textbook in my hands,
And I just slept during the lessons.
Why should I know what Razin did,
Kol Shatunov Yura he discovered.
Only for the motive of my favorite “White Roses”
I love Styopa Razin to tears.
I don’t understand, why
The prima donna has a patronymic on B,
After all, we have known for many years at school,
That Pugachev was Emelyan.

To the melody of the song “No one writes to the Colonel” from the repertoire of the group “BI 2”

They came to study at the center and learn the business,
And even though October is already not far from summer.
And in the summer you don’t need to read or write,
Now force yourself to pick up a pen!

Chorus:
No one writes the control,
No one expects a five for it.
Will we have time to blink and grab a three,
After all, in November this quarter will go to the past.
Will the hand get used, will the brain wake up?
And read the formulas, can I decide on them?

Chorus:…

To the melody of the song “The Last Autumn” by Y. Shevchuk

The last autumn was left for me at school.
September – behind, ahead – also a little,
After all, school will say goodbye to us in the spring too,
And adult life is just around the corner.
Last autumn…
Ah, Alexander Sergeevich, dear.
You wrote so many poems about love.
And in the wet yellow dirty autumn
You created whole cycles in Boldino.
In the cold autumn…
Here we are again in literature,
We need to teach Mayakovsky and Blok,
And we all remember Shevchuk’s autumn:
It’s somehow closer, it’s somehow nearby.
Last autumn…

To the melody of the song “A Million Scarlet Roses”

There was once a teacher who knew a lot in life,
But he had a pointer and chalk for good things.
He sowed warmth in children, gave knowledge of the world.
Even though he had nothing, he loved his work.
Chorus:
Million, million, million scarlet roses
You give him, you give him at least once.
And at least once, and at least once you do not regret
For him, for him kind words of love.

Let him sometimes be strict: he could instruct deuces,
Who was late for the lesson – could not let him on the threshold.
He could call his parents if the child was noisy,
But he solved all problems cheerfully, as if jokingly.
Chorus:…

To the motive of “Songs about a good mood” from the film “Carnival Night”
(music by A. Lepin, lyrics by V. Korostylev)

“If you are a teacher,
You will then understand,
What is joy ,
Meeting with children.
And after school
Feeling good again
With books under my arm
You’re running home
Chorus:
And a smile without a doubt
Suddenly touches your eyes,
And a good mood
Will not leave you anymore.

If someone in class
Suddenly breaks a window,
Don’t be discouraged:
This will all pass.
Just invite
In the class of his parent,
He will bring you many, many
Glasses at once.
Chorus:…

If your class is friendly
Didn’t learn lessons,
And this deed
Your heart penetrated your heart,
You will wipe away your tears
And forgive the children,
Just tell them,
That the crocodile was crying.
Chorus:…

Song “I’m standing at a break” to the melody of the song “I’m standing at a half-station”
(music by I. Kataev, lyrics by M. Ancharov).

I’m standing at recess,
Pressing right up to the wall,
And the kids are running past.
And the children, as they usually do,
Now reconcile, then quarrel,
Fight and scurry back and forth.
And at the reading lesson,
Asking for a poem,
I suddenly heard nothing.
In Russian she gave the rule,
And repeat everything correctly
Again, no one could do it for me.
And at the music lesson
They said: “Why are you loading us?
We no longer need the classics.
Jasmine, Alsou and Katya Lel –
We sing with them all day:
For breakfast, lunch and even dinner.

“Song about the security guard” to the melody of the song “And who knows him”
(music by V. Zakharov, lyrics by M. Isakovsky)

A boy walks near the school and does not know how to enter,
Because all the doors in our school are locked.
And who knows what he’s up to.
What is he up to, and who knows.
Our guard is so serious that you can’t approach him
And you can’t pick up the cherished word.
And who knows what he dreams about,
What he dreams about, and who knows.
We are satisfied with the security: you can immediately see from a mile away,
How he guards the school, because he is always on duty.
After all, he knows exactly who he is protecting.
Who is guarding, because he knows for sure.

“Song about my favorite class” to the melody of the song “I dream of a village”
(music by B. Emelyanov, lyrics by L. Derbenev).

Not so obedient I got a classic,
But I really wanted to teach them.
And one morning I announced to them,
How I will teach them strictly – and, mind you, honor me.

Chorus:
I am now a teacher in this nice school –
Here is my work, here are my friends.
Common concerns, common tasks –
Everything is solved very amicably by all teachers.

It has become quiet in the classroom, very quiet:
Everyone is reading books, not looking out the window.
And they also solve problems quickly,
Everyone knows the rules for sure – that’s it.

Chorus:…

“Song about a promising young specialist (teacher)”
to the melody of the song “Oh, viburnum is blooming”
(music by I. Dunayevsky, lyrics by M. Isakovsky).

“Oh, Marina is blooming, standing at the porch,
The light is streaming from her face.
I fell in love with the school to my misfortune,
Without her, for sure, life is unbearable.
Mischievous children drove everyone crazy,
Well, the cold in the classroom is nonsense.
At the blackboard by the classroom, the color is getting paler,
A girl’s love does not pass, no.
And Marina’s love is stronger every day,
And the native school is closer every day.
Year by year more beautiful, you can see in the eyes.
This Marina is good for us too!

“Song about frozen students” to the melody
“Songs about bears” from the film “Prisoner of the Caucasus”
(music by A. Zatsepin, lyrics by L. Derbenev).

Somewhere in the world,
Where it’s always cold,
Children go to school,
Having frostbitten nose.
Their fingers are freezing,
Their feet are knocking,
Backpacks are frozen to the floor.
Children are sitting – silent.
The teacher stands steadfastly,
The blue lips are compressed.
Where is that tormentor,
Why didn’t he give warmth?
Centuries are floating by,
The windows are covered with ice.
What the teacher said,
At home we will read later.
Following the autumn shower,
Snow will cover the roof.
Children sat still
Many, many years.
They remembered summer,
The smell of beautiful roses.
Probably coming soon
Grandfather Frost»

Song «School Spirits» to the melody of the song «Lonely Harmonica» (music by B. Mokrousov, lyrics by M. Isakovsky)

Everything stopped again before dawn,
The door does not creak no one will enter.
At school, the watchman sits there without light
And quietly sings something.
Then he will go to the corridors, then to the classes,
Then he will come back again.
Ghosts are seen among the masses,
He cannot catch them in any way.
School spirits roam everywhere,
They stick their mischievous nose everywhere,
They killed the dishes in the dining room
And they don’t give rest.

“Song of a good self” to the melody of “Kurochkin’s Couplets”
(music by B. Mokrousov, lyrics by A. Fatyanov).

Boast, people, I won’t:
I know what I’m saying.
I fell in love with this school,
I will sing about it to you.
All people will say about me;
“And good and good” –
Because in this school
My whole soul is now.
Nothing is a pity for the school,
And nothing for the class.
I brought everything from home,
Everything from my home.
Attributes and aids,
Pens, erasers, paper clips.
To make it brighter in the classroom
I brought light bulbs.
I work perfectly,
I teach all the guys.
But about my personal life,
I won’t say anything.
I miss my neighbor,
But at a distance,
Because I am without school
I am unable to live.

Song “At last I’m home” to the melody of the song “Yellow-eyed night”
(music by A. Mazhukov, lyrics by L. Oshanin)

Finally I’m at home,
Notebooks checked,
Can I have a rest
And sleep a little. ,
You must help me,
Drive away from me
School thoughts away.
I dreamed that I
Became a director at school,
Conducted teachers’ councils
And conducted all the affairs.
I managed everywhere,
But I got tired at the same time,
And my work
Brought me to white.
Chorus:…

Song “We wish you happiness, teachers!” to the melody of the song “We wish you happiness!”
(music by S. Namin, lyrics by I. Shaferan).

In a school where crazy people run,
A round dance is spinning in my head,
And the teacher will enter the class,
To start the lesson.
Children sometimes obey us,
But they run home in a crowd,
Because the hour has struck,
The lesson is over.

Chorus:
We wish you happiness,
Happiness in this big world!
Like the sun in the morning,
Let it enter the house.
We wish you happiness,
And it should be like this;
When you are happy yourself,
Share your happiness with others!

Presenter:
“Oh, how nice it was for us to sit here today!
They drank tea and sang songs.
Indeed, how much trouble we have;
Notebooks, assignments, checks. Worries – full mouth.
But we are all proud of the school profession,
We will still come in handy to teach children!
We will teach them to read, write, draw,
Find out your destiny in this life!

“Song about teachers” (To the motive of the song “What they teach at school”)

Read different letters,
Numbers, write sticks,
Draw, sculpt and build without help.
Day after day, in the heat, a snowstorm
Our kids are taught
Their second mothers are our teachers.

How to draw a square,
Calculate sine, tangent,
Should we solve the equation with a variable?
That Pythagorean pants
Equal in all directions –
The mathematician will certainly show you.

About Gerasim and Mumu,
Both about the world and about the war
Writers will tell without hesitation.
And Oblomov’s sofa,
And Natasha’s first ball
Suddenly appear in front of you, as in the picture.

Where is the trade wind, and where is the monsoon,
Where is the ram, and where is the buffalo,
Where do they go on foot, where do they sail in a boat?
Our local geographer
will show you the white light
Along the map from Paris to Nakhodka.

Where and how a coconut grows,
How to catch a fox by the tail,
How to make red from a blue solution
And how to grow a big one
Harvest without nitrates –
This is subject to a chemist, a biologist.

Newton discovered without difficulty
Law of attraction,
A theoretical physicist told us about it.
But to sit under an apple tree
You also need to be able to
Otherwise, you will forget everything in the world.

Distinguish rise and fall,
Feudal lords from soldiers,
Recognize who is aiming for the presidency again,
Disclose reasons for wars
And be savvy in politics –
The historian will explain important points.

Climb over the fence,
Fight back against the bully
Lifestyle and physical education will help you.
And the labor teacher
will teach you how to make things
So that the thing is like a thing, not a hack.

One, one, free, hello, goodbye,
Sing songs loudly.
Fall in love with Serov, Shishkin, Van Gogh
And then your soul
Will be wonderfully good-
This is what our teachers say.

The song “We are not stokers, we are not carpenters. ..”

It’s not so easy to be a teacher,
We understood this long ago.
Parents talk about it,
Books and movies about it.
And we are so often convinced,
That your thoughts are pure.
And we bow before you,
And we present you with flowers.

A song from the repertoire of the Spleen group

This is not stupid at all
And even logical,
What to congratulate today
We are going to you.
We have been preparing for a long time
Dress decently,
And a good song
We will perform now.
This is a song by a famous group,
This is a song by the Spleen group.
It’s good that we’re together,
It’s great that we are friends,
You found our souls
A real approach.
Well, it happens, of course,
Purple horror …
Only with whom does it not happen?
This will soon pass.
Excuse us stupid ones,
We promise to grow up.
We are pleased today
To see your smiles
And we are ready for you
At least to sing until the evening.
It’s better than doing it
There are errors in the notebook
And it’s pointless to look at the book
Half-roar.
Let the holidays be more often,
And everything will be fine.
Would you like to, would you like to
Listen to us, look at us?
We want to congratulate you on Teacher’s Day
And sing something good.

To the motive of the song “Smile” from the film “Carnival Night”)

If sometimes you are sad and sad,
If someone is naughty at the lessons,
This is not on purpose and not on purpose,
It’s just that energy is seething in us.

Chorus:

So let’s all worries
Let’s forget this hour.
And good mood
Will not leave you anymore.

If we don’t answer well in class,
If we forget to learn formulas,
We also get what we deserve,
But we know how to hide grief.

Chorus:

Teacher’s day. Scenarios, wall newspapers, poems, songs, congratulations

HOLIDAY WALL NEWSPAPER, POSTERS

Teacher’s Day is a special holiday. Every person celebrates this day, because no matter who he is – a president, a sailor, a driver, a doctor, a musician – first of all he is someone’s former student.

According to a long-standing school tradition, on this day the children bring beautiful bouquets to school and congratulate their teachers. A deep bow to the class teachers, words of special gratitude to the administration workers, declarations of love to subject teachers!

Especially for you, our readers, to congratulate your teachers on such a wonderful day, the children’s portal “Solnyshko” has developed these wall newspapers.

Each newspaper consists of 8 A4 sheets. Download, print and glue sheets, color pictures, write warm congratulations to your teachers!

Useful tips.
1. Invite the children to cut out tree leaves (maple, oak, birch…) from colored paper and write the name of the teacher or the names of the class children on each. Stick these sheets on whatman paper and hang them in the hall of the school, in the teacher’s room or in the classroom.

2. Give the children sheets of colored paper. Let them circle the palm, cut it out along the contour and write wishes to the teacher. We glue the palms on whatman paper, add the heading “To my teacher”, and the original wall newspaper is ready!

On the birthday of the head of state, a friend of the President of Russia told what hobbies he had in childhood, what tricks from school he uses in politics, and what rules his mother taught him

Vladimir Putin at school Photo: President’s personal archive

On October 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin celebrates his 69th birthday. As Dmitry Peskov has already said, the head of state will spend it at work, and then in a narrow circle of relatives. On the president’s birthday, KP-Petersburg talked to his close school friend Viktor Borisenko, who has known Vladimir Putin for 60 years. The artistic director of the student theater of the Polytechnic University told how the future president used to celebrate this day, what games he liked and how he surprised his classmates in the classroom.

SCHOOL LOVED A GLASS OF POLUSTROVO SYRUP

    – Viktor Filippovich, today Vladimir Vladimirovich celebrates his 69th birthday. He will spend most of the day at work. And how did the President celebrate his birthday during his school years?

    – In grades 1-4 of the school, our first teacher, Tamara Pavlovna Chizhova, accepted that classmates gave gifts to schoolchildren on their birthdays. The child walked along the desks, and the comrades handed him sweets, toys, school supplies, expressed their good children’s wishes! It was very touching and memorable for a lifetime! Vladimir Putin was no exception and October 7 has always been his day!

Viktor Borisenko has been friends with the president since school Photo: Personal page of the hero of the publication in the social network

    – Now Vladimir Vladimirovich celebrates birthdays in a narrow circle. Do you know what gifts the president likes? What gifts did he get at school?

    – On one of my last birthdays, I gave Vladimir Vladimirovich the book “Laurus” by Evgeny Vodolazkin, because before that we played Vodolazkin’s play “Museum” at the Student Theater of the Polytechnic University. Vladimir Putin did not see the performance, but he was interested in it, the play, Vodolazkin’s work.

    – You said in one of the interviews that he left a personal space for himself – that is, one could not ask him about everything … speaking in theatrical terms, any “extension, clamp”! In a second I freely communicated with him and could ask any questions. Putin is a good conversationalist, it is interesting to talk with him, he listens attentively and asks many more questions himself than I ask him. For hours we talked passionately. We’ve known each other for over 60 years! It is a pity that we do not meet so often because of his employment, but I think that each meeting is interesting for both.

The future president loved German and history at school Photo: Vladimir Putin’s personal archive

    – Did Vladimir Vladimirovich have a hobby that few people knew about?

    – Not a hobby, but a habit. In my student years, our evening walk often ended with the fact that we went to an ice cream parlor and Putin ordered a glass of Polustrovo with Syrup! Probably, today it is even difficult for students to imagine that a glass of plain water with syrup can give pleasure: all our acquaintances lived in poverty.

    “THE BOY SCATTERED HUMBERS”

What lessons do you think he learned from his childhood that helped him become president, help him communicate with world leaders?

    – Our parents went through the blockade of Leningrad and the war. In the blockade, the one who cared about the other survived. Caring for another person made me forget about my hunger, cold, illness and save loved ones. Our parents raised their children to respect other people. I think that this is the most important quality that came in handy for Vladimir Putin in his life, in dealing with people of different social status.

Mikhail Rakhlin, son of the president’s coach, told us that the president uses judo techniques in international politics. But maybe there are some tricks from school?

    – The son of Anatoly Semenovich Rakhlin knows better, since I studied sambo with his father for only 1.5 years, and then went into theater classes. Interestingly, today Rakhlin’s son and I work in the same building, where Vladimir Putin brought me 51 years ago, because I wanted to study engineering. From school, Putin took out a love for literature: Larisa Dmitrievna Bezdnina taught us interestingly. And today, in his speeches, the President of the Russian Federation often uses quotations from literature.

Classmates remember Vladimir Putin from political information lessons Photo: Vladimir Putin’s personal archive

Classmates often remember how the future president defended girls at school, do you remember any example?

    – In high school, Putin had already mastered sambo so much that hardly anyone wanted to offend girls in his presence. Our classmate Nikolai Alekhov told how one day some drunken big men stuck up to them on the bus and pushed the schoolchildren out into the street to sort things out. Further, Kolya and the assembled spectators watched as the big guys fell into the snowdrifts from the little guy. The interest of the audience fell when the big guys fled. The guys got on the next bus and drove on.

LOVED COD IN TOMATOES, BEETHOVEN’S SONGS AND CHEKHOV’S BOOKS

    – If possible, what is the President’s favorite film, favorite song, favorite book, favorite meal from the school days?

    – Favorite films of the time: “Shield and Sword”, “Dead Season”. Favorite opera – staged at the Kirov (Mariinsky) Theater, this is Modest Mussorgsky’s “Boris Godunov”. Vera Dmitrievna Gurevich took us there. Favorite songs: Beethoven’s 30 Sonatas is a collection of records by Vladimir Spiridonovich Putin, which were in the Putin family. Favorite books are the collected works of A. P. Chekhov, the books were on the bookcase in their house, and often books from this collection could be seen on the tables. I don’t know if the most favorite dish was in the Putin family, but this is Cod in Tomato, which was prepared by my father. She was on all the holiday tables.

    – What does Vladimir Vladimirovich value most in people?

    – Integrity!

    – Vladimir Putin is famous for his jokes, what jokes did he tell at school?

    – School jokes – this was usually intended for listening to a narrow circle of boys.

Vladimir Putin with his beloved teacher Vera Gurevich Photo: Aleksey NIKOLSKY/TASS

    – Do you remember a particular lesson he spoke at?

    – I remember the history lesson in the 7th grade, when Putin very accurately named the causes and reason for the historical event. Roza Markovna, a history teacher, and all classmates were amazed: how did Putin know this! The causal relationship of phenomena, the determinism of events, the analysis of what is happening – this is how Putin began to differ greatly from other high school students.

“PUTIN IS CONVINCED THAT WE WILL REMAIN FRIENDS WITH ALL PEOPLES”

    – What rules were taught to him by his father and mother, maybe shared this with others?

    – Parents taught their son hospitality, which distinguishes the President of Russia even today!

    – How did you know that he became a scout?

    – Very easy! My brother comes home from work and says: “I saw Putin, there the driver was blocking the passage to the stadium with a car, and Vladimir Putin walks in civilian clothes, and all the police salute! And at all the events where there could be foreigners, at that time, KGB officers worked. Putin then told all of us that he worked in the military prosecutor’s office. But we all knew where he worked, but didn’t tell him if he didn’t need it.

Vladimir Putin defended the weak at school Photo: Mikhail Rakhlin’s archive

    – Recently, the president, despite all relations with Ukraine, said that we would not let this country down and would supply gas. Is this a character trait from school?

    – I think that Putin is convinced that we will restore normal relations with Ukraine and Belarus, and with other now separate countries, there are historical reasons for this. There were students in the class: Russians, Belarusians, Jews, Ukrainians and children of mixed marriages. There have never been any quarrels on ethnic grounds.

PLAYED PEEK AND HIDE AND SING THE BEATLES

    – What did you play with him as a child?

    – Ordinary children’s games of hide-and-seek, then “Musketeers”, then performed by The Beatles, whose songs were sung with pleasure.

Vladimir Putin knew how to surprise during the lessons Photo: President’s personal archive

    – What did the future president dream about – “I will grow up and do it”?

    – I don’t remember Vladimir Putin ever talking about what he dreams about. I only told him for sure that I wanted to become an artist and even read him Hamlet’s monologue “To be or not to be . ..”, Shakespeare, but I did not become an artist, but became a director.

    – What would you like to wish the president on his birthday?

    – Health and strength! This, of course, is necessary for everyone, but especially for him, so that everything is in order with us all!
