Our Facilities and Security

Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child.

 Creative Curriculum®

With The Creative Curriculum®, children are immersed in learning through purposeful play-based experiences on topics they’re familiar with from their everyday lives. Children find opportunities for rigorous skill development like counting, measurement, and language comprehension while also developing positive relationships, gross-motor skills, and problem solving abilities.

Kindergarten

It is a perfect combination of progressive academic learning and a warm, nurturing, small class environment. Reading and literacy skills are developed through guided reading, phonemic awareness, shared reading, interactive read alouds, creative writing and the integration of other disciplines into the reading world. Math, social studies and science are also incorporated into the children’s day.

Program Highlights

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Children have daily access to our full-sized gymnasium for both structured and unstructured exercise. Using only “kid approved” equipment our students are encouraged to strengthen their gross motor skills through free-play and organized sports. With the recent addition of slides, climbers, and rockers there is something for every child to enjoy!

Children also visit Hudson County Park daily. We climb, swing and run through the playgrounds. Or we enjoy the walking trails, athletic fields and newly restored pond with turtles, ducks and fish to observe. There is so much to explore and discover each day at the park.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE

Experts say that teaching preschool aged children sign language can help with vocabulary building and letter retention because there is muscle memory involved in the learning. As a multilingual school we offer sign language so that we have one common form of communication for all children and staff in the center.

MUSIC & MOVEMENT

When children take part in music and movement activities, they are allowed to have fun and be creative. Participating in music and movement helps to develop and refine social skills. Children learn to work together as a team while perfecting their seasonal group performances, and can march to their own beat during daily music exploration.

WOBBLE ROOM

Our soft foam playroom allows preschoolers to play hard, but fall soft while they run, jump, build, climb, roll and play in our new wobble room that includes a ball pit and boat!

DAILY REPORTS

We utilize Tadpoles, a web-based childcare and preschool app (iOS and Android) that gives parents real-time notes and reminders, photos and videos of their children at day care, and school notifications and alerts. Tadpoles is designed to give childcare providers a way to keep track of kids’ needs — and parents peace of mind while keeping them informed throughout the day.

ACCREDITATION

We are licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Children and Families, which develops standards for childcare centers. We go beyond childcare license standards to ensure our families that their child is receiving the greatest care and education in an environment that is superior to most.

Bayonne on Wikipedia

Bayonne is a city in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. Bayonne is located on a peninsula between Newark Bay to the west, Kill Van Kull Sound to the south, and New York Bay to the east. According to the 2010 census, the city’s population was &&&&&&&&&&063024.&&&&&063,024 people,. The area in which the city is now located was inhabited by Indians before the arrival of Europeans. The first settlement on the site of the modern city appeared in 1646. It was founded by the Dutchman Jacob J. Roy, who received the right to land on the peninsula from the Dutch West India Company. The place where the settlement was founded was named Constable Hook. Under the British, the settlement was transformed into a trading post, called Bergen Neck. The settlers of the trading post were mainly engaged in catching oysters and shad. Bayonne was founded as a township on April 1, 1861, having been carved out of the township of Bergen. March 10, 1869year Bayonne was given the status of a city. The name of the city was due to its location “on the bays” – Newark and New York. Today, the main components of the city’s economy are manufacturing, distribution and container shipping. The city is located in the heart of the Port of New York and New Jersey, east of Newark, the largest city in the state, and west of Brooklyn.
