Note on Frequency of Inspections

Centers, Group Homes, and Licensed Family Homes::

In 2014, legislation was passed that changed the number of unannounced visits from two per year to one per year in Child Care Centers, Group Child Care Homes, and Licensed Family Child Care Homes. As a result of this new law, you may see a decrease in the number of deficiencies listed on this website for these types of providers. Unannounced visits are still made in response to a complaint, and visits are scheduled with the facility during the re-licensing process, which occurs every two years.

Registered Family Homes:

Most family homes are registered, not licensed. In 2014, legislation was passed that allows Child Care Licensing to make one unannounced visit to these homes each year. As a result of this new law, you may see an increase in the number of deficiencies listed on this website for Registered Family Child Care Homes. Unannounced visits are still made in response to a complaint. Click here for an overview of each facility and the requirements they must meet according to state law.

Private Kindergarten “Olympic” – Workingmama

Private Kindergarten “Olympic” is located in the picturesque Sokolniki Park in a cozy comfortable mansion, stylized as a fairy-tale castle. Children from 1 to 7 years old are accepted here.

An adaptation group has been organized in the garden. Her specialists monitor the mental state of the baby during the very first week of his stay in the garden and do everything to make him comfortable. Based on their observations, an adaptation forecast is made.

The kindergarten implements the World of Discovery educational program and additional programs. English is taught to children from the age of 3. It is possible to conduct part of the classes by native speakers from Canada, the USA, the UK. Pre-schoolers have the opportunity to take exams with experts from the UK Cambridge Examination Council at the level of YLE Starters.

Also in the garden there are individual lessons with a child psychologist, speech pathologist, teacher.

Olimpik has a large selection of sports sections and aesthetic studios: tennis, football, aikido, swimming (in its own pool), dance and choreography studio, chess, painting, modeling and sculpture basics, author’s doll studio, home design, game flute and others.

Children are taken care of in the garden. The territory is surrounded around the perimeter by a fence with special controls. A computerized database registers all passes into the territory. Continuous video monitoring of the territory, play and sleeping quarters is carried out, the data is archived and stored. The security service allows only parents or their authorized representatives to enter the territory of a private children’s room in strict accordance with a previously executed application.

It is possible to order an individual menu, care at night, holidays and weekends, organizing children’s parties. Kindergarten staff may bring children from home if parents are unable to.

“Olympic” is part of the educational complex “Academic Gymnasium”.
