Duck Duck Daycare

My son has been with Duck Duck for 4 years. We have loved this place. The owner goes above and beyond for each family/child. The center is very clean and organized. The employees are wonderful, patient, cheerful and just plain awesome. I am sad it is time for our son to move on and leave DDDC forschool. This place is so wonderful!!! I highly recommend it….

Little Learners Preschool

I would highly suggest checking out little learners in Bay Village. The children are on a structured program and still get free time to play and explore each day. The staff and owner are first class and care about every student like they were their own children. Also they have very bright and kidfocused leaning environments were the students thrive and a very low student to teacher ratio. If your interested you can just google little learners preschool bay village and the webite will pop up.
Check them out today. You will not be disappointed, I know we were throughly impressed….

Kathleen’s Care

Hi, Kathleen…
I cannot figure out how to contact you, so I am hoping this “review” message will reach you. My husband and I are expecting our first child in September and will need care for her when I return to work in January. I am a teacher so we will only need care on school days/hours, noholidays or summer break, etc. Can you please email me and let me know if you will have an opening for an infant at that time, and if so what your weekly rate would be?
Thank you so much!

Description:

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read over The Building Blocks Early Learning Center LLC’s profile! We opened the business in 2012 and are an are an in-home child care and education center! I am seekingthe opportunity to educate and nurture your child in a safe and interactive environment!
After more than 7 years of teaching, several more years in the corporate environment and a Bachelor’s Degree I became mom. I wanted to find a way to be at home with my son while providing him with the education he deserves! That is where Building Blocks was born! I would love the opportunity to make my home their home away from home!
Your child will be encouraged to learn in a hands on environment with a one on one approach. I am only seeking to have a maximum of 5 children. This means your child will be in a more child focused setting while obtaining the peer socialization that is so critical to their education. This smaller setting will also allow for more flexibility in lesson planning, special activities and overall daily schedule.
Your child’s classroom here is set up just like that of a corporate center! Everything is child appropriate and geared towards them! Each day you will receive an activity sheet outlining the highlights of your child’s day as well as nap and mealtime information. A typical day will include reading from books rotated often to suite lesson plans, art, music, shapes, colors, ABCs and 123s as well as sensory play, fine and gross motor activities. We’ve also incorporated multiple languages into our day. We count in English, German, Spanish and French and have a Sign Language vocabulary of more than 35 words. Your child will also have limited time to play learning games (reading/math) on an iPad, which in this ever changing world will be so important for Kindergarten readiness! My yard provides a great place for running and getting all of our “zoomies” out with a climber and plenty of toys to ride and push.
After we opened in late 2012 I have been honored to serve the same families! They started here November 2012 and I have watched them grow and learn every day! It is bittersweet that Building Blocks will be moving away from its originally location to our new Brecksville location. We are so excited that some families are able to follow us and sad to have to say goodbye to others. Are official re-open date is August 10th, 2015! If you are interested I’d love to give you tour of our current center!
Cheers!…
