There’s no way this quoted ratio of teacher to student is still correct. The school is so crowded. Students start lunch by 10am just to get all the kids through. The opportunities to get the kids out of their desks throughout the day are limited. The teachers are trying their best but its just so crowded. There are 2 series of “temporary” classrooms, so hundreds are in these temporary rooms every day and there’s no plan to get more formal space. In my son’s first grade portable there are over 20 kids. Everyone that works there is kind and cares but they’re terribly overwhelmed with kids and there’s no plan in place to get it “right sized”

I attended Narcoossee from K-5 and I loved it. It was the Best school. I particularly enjoyed the sports. NCES wins everything. I was on the fitness Olympics team for 3 years and have so many great memories.
My sons went to this school. The teachers are caring. The kids are well behaved. This is the best school for my kids.

A student ID number is now your ticket to a world of information!
The Osceola Library System and the School District of Osceola are teaming up to create the OLL Access Pass, a free Osceola Library Link to all the books, movies, music, research, and more needed to be a STAR student!
All Osceola School District students enrolled in grades K-12 automatically have an OLL Access Pass — no application, and no card to lose!
To use your OLL Access Pass to explore all of the Library’s online resources or check out materials, your code is the letter S followed by your unique 7 digit Student ID number. To check your account or access information online, the required PIN is your birth year. For example, your login would be S1234567, and your PIN would be 2009.
There are no late fines or lost fees — but please bring materials back on time and in great shape so other people can enjoy them, too!
With your OLL Access Pass, you get to:
- Check out up to 3 books, DVDs, audiobooks, or hotspots — just punch in your OLL Access Pass number when using the checkout station, or tell it to the librarian when checking out
- Place holds on titles to pick up later
- Stream movies and music
- Download ebooks and audiobooks
- Research using encyclopedias, newspaper archives, or other databases using the Library’s website or apps
