Aricelda G.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ari. She was our NCS for our daughter who was born 6 weeks premature. She was with us since the day our daughter arrived home and has been an invaluable member of our family unit. She was there for each step of motherhood – from baby basics, feeding,breastfeeding/pumping, everything – and was always attuned to the emotional aspects of new motherhood as well as the logistical parts. She always had recommendations and experiences that she shared with us as challenges arose. And when my mother passed from cancer while she was working for us, she was incredibly helpful, kind and understanding, giving us the flexibility we needed to get through it. She’s 100% trustworthy, punctual, a great communicator, and an incredibly positive, happy presence. She’s wonderful, sweet, happy and unflappable with our daughter, and has taught us so many tips for taking care of her. As a result, our daughter is thriving and catching up on all her milestones!…

Renee L.

Renee nannied our daughter for 6 months, from age 10m. Beyond being easygoing and superb at all the basics of trustworthy care-giving, she is more than a nanny – she taught our daughter skills (basic sign language, self feeding, sensory development), improved her socialization, took her for longwalks and playground days, no screens, plentiful music – their time together was not only safe and comfortable, but productive and enriching. She kept in great communication with us, regarding things like scheduling, naps, and feeding, sending us pictures and videos throughout the day, and gently guiding us too. Renee has her own wonderful daughter a few years older than ours, so has great parenting experience personally, in addition to her professional credentials. We sadly have circumstances making it difficult for us to continue with an in-home nanny as both our jobs became work from home, but Renee is incomparable, and was incredibly flexible with our needs even as we all had to share space.

Vanessa A.

I would highly recommend Vanessa. She has helped me so much. Vanessa helped me understand and educated me about my baby’s development. She expressed the importance of tummy time, swaddling, and helped me with a sleeping schedule. She was a big help with my toddler as well, she taught me how topositively interact by reading, playing, and trips to the park….

– Valerie A.

Monica B.

We hired Monica to care for our twin newborns after we started working again. We weren’t sure if one person could handle two at the same time, but Monica is amazing! It’s been a few months now and we couldn’t be happier! She’s punctual, responsible, and patient with the girls. Our twins are preemiebabies and had feeding issues, and Monica understood our concerns and is able to give them the attention and care they need. Monica doesn’t just take care of our babies physical needs (diaper changing, feeding, etc.) she also attends to their emotional and mental needs as well (reading, playing, singing, etc). She has also been a great communicator with us and always shares her insights with us on how the girls are doing and what to expect as they develop and grow. We appreciate her very much. Would definitely recommend!…

Jennifer N.

Jennifer was eager to take care of our toddler and very dedicated to helping us when we had a last minute need for childcare.

Career Nanny Available In August Or September!

Description:

I’m Renee, an LMU alumni with over 10 years of experience nannying for children of all ages. I’ll be available starting Aug 8th.
I truly love working with infants and prefer to begin when they’re young. Thisgives me the opportunity to form a bond with them and help them reach new milestones on their journey into toddlerhood!
I believe in respect for everyone and this includes babies. They’re capable of so much and I’m there to help guide them as they learn how to navigate this world!
I can help with sleep-training, BLW, creating a routine and documenting our adventures everyday through a baby tracking app. There will be plenty of music, reading, tummy time/gross motor development, walks to the park, or drives to the beach, museums, or baby classes.
I prefer to nanny at my home, I have a good setup already and tons of supplies. I set up my space with my daughter in mind so it’s very baby/child friendly (she’ll be in school FT while I’m nannying). My rate is lower with this in mind….

Our candidate pool includes experienced caregivers looking to pick up extra hours, former camp counselors who can keep kids busy for hours on end, and college students seeking an after-school position that fits with their class schedule. The background, experience, and personality of each nanny is unique but they all embody the qualities that to us, are most important – loyalty, honesty, dependability, and a true love of working with children.

Duties

Part-time nannies responsibilities vary depending on the household, but often include full care of the children (bathing, dressing, feeding), engaging in creative play, driving the children to and from school and extra-curricular activities, assisting with homework, light tidying related to the children’s activities, and making simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children.

Schedules

Part-time nannies generally work between 20-25 hours per week. Schedules vary depending on the families needs but often include working either mornings or afternoons, assisting the family a couple full days per week, working weekends, or providing after-school care. Rates for part-time nannies vary greatly depending on the nanny’s experience, the position duties, preferred schedule, and the level of travel and flexibility required in the role. Current rates for part-time nannies are between $30-$40 per hour. In addition to their wages most part-time nannies receive the following benefits: paid vacation and paid holidays/sick days.

For our nannies, childcare isn’t just a “job” – it’s a labor of love. Most of our candidates began their careers as neighborhood babysitters and camp counselors in high-school, pre-school teachers or part-time nannies in college, and are now professional nannies. Our nannies love their jobs, and we think that’s pretty cool.

Whether it’s texting you a picture of your little one at the park or setting up a Skype session to say goodnight to your child when you are out of town, Westside Nannies candidates are forward-thinking, aware, and tech savvy.

We believe that a nanny’s moral and ethical character is just as important as what’s on her resume. Nannies are more than just caregivers – they are mentors and role models, and a direct reflection of your family’s values. We place an emphasis on recruiting candidates who display character traits such as loyalty, dependability, honesty, and respect.

LEARN ABOUT OUR UNIQUE PROCESS

“When I was pregnant one of my constant worries was about making the right choice on childcare. From my first conversation with Ryan Jordan, I knew I was speaking with an expert: she was strong, confident, positive and warm (a powerful combo!) We wanted a professional with a sense of humor, a positive attitude and knowledge of early childhood development. After a home visit, Ryan sent us three amazing candidates who fit the bill, and we hired the first one!! We got everything we wanted and frankly, so much more!

I go to work each week knowing we have someone who is not only taking care of our daughter’s basic needs but also teaching her — with love — and helping her grow into a pretty amazing kid. Parents, Kiddo and Nanny…we are team, a unit, a family. Thank you Educated Nannies for bringing us all together!”

Become a SmartSitter

Smart Sitting is proud to represent the best of the best. Everyone in our community has been thoroughly screened and personally interviewed – only 6% of our applicants are selected. Our hiring process invites loving, trustworthy, and skilled candidates from all backgrounds, as Smart Sitting values diversity and inclusivity within our network . Please take your time applying and be as thorough as possible. We also conduct thorough interviews with our families, to ensure our nannies are connected with families that embrace their individuality and skill set.

Become a SmartSitter

Step 1 | Application

Get to know how we work and fill out our online application so we can get to know you in return. We consider candidates on the following criteria:

  • Experience and educational background

  • Passion for working with children

  • Communication skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Emotional intelligence

  • Reliability and punctuality

Step 2 | Interview

Those few candidates with exceptional applications are contacted to set up an interview with a Recruitment Specialist. Walk through childcare experience, discuss and evaluate core values, and discuss your ideal job expectations and current open positions with a job expert.

Step 3 | References

After a successful interview, we reach out to at least three childcare-related references. Transcripts of these conversations are kept on file for families to review. Only candidates with stellar references move forward in our process – and Smart Sitters love that these transcripts mean they no longer have to inconvenience their references when interviewing for new positions.

Step 4 | Background Check

All candidates undergo a National Criminal Background Check, Social Security Verification, Sex Offender check, and extensive Manual County checks which we keep on file for families to review. Our background check policies are modeled after best practices for the childcare industry.

Step 5 | Onboarding

Throughout the screening process, each candidate’s written and verbal communication are assessed. We require SmartSitters to respond to emails and text messages within 24 hours. Once in the network, you are invited to set up a profile while we help you finalize the process so you are ready to find your nanny job.

Step 6 | Position Matching and Community

After successfully completing all other steps, Smart Sitting Family Specialists get to know each nanny and babysitter one-on-one and personally work together to handpick positions that are best suited for your skills, experience, and availability, to ensure positive and successful connections for both sides. Once in our network, SmartSitters stay at the top of their game through ongoing training, group events, and mentorship, while we continue to support you in your professional journey.

Smart Sitting helps childcare professionals in LA find great families and grow their careers with confidence.

The kids need you! Whatever the qualifications of a nanny, there are duties that each of them must be able to perform:

  1. Childcare (hygiene, feeding, walking, sleeping).
  2. Cooking (fresh every day).
  3. Caring for the child’s wardrobe (washing, ironing, repairing clothes).
  4. Organization of recreation (games, walks, reading books).
  5. Cleaning the room, clean toys.

The younger the child, the higher the hygiene requirements. For a baby, care is the basis of health, and health is trusted by doctors, isn’t it?

    Frequently asked questions about children

    1. How many rich residents of Manhattan pay their nurses?

A nanny in Manhattan, NY pays an average of $33,131 per year.

    2. Is $5 an hour an acceptable fee for childcare?

It all depends on your situation and where you live.

However, the answer is no because it is less than the minimum wage, which is unacceptable if they are not family members. Babysitting costs an average of $12 an hour.

    3. Where can I find a job as a babysitter on the weekends?

Find and apply for the latest weekend babysitting jobs. Verified Employers. The salary is competitive.

    Currentschoolnews.com has full-time, part-time and temporary positions.

    4. Why are there more women than men among nannies?

Of course, there are good reasons to hire female nannies.

Women often have more experience in this field than men because they are in higher demand.

The first possible explanation is that parents trust the girl to take care of their children more than the boy.

The second argument is that since babysitting is considered a women’s job, boys are reluctant to do it, and there are few women football players.

    5. Have you ever hired a nanny and regretted it?

Without the need for in-depth evaluation, a mother may miss red signals and regret hiring someone to look after her children.

Parents may have different experiences of regretting having children and not having time to take care of them.

Everyone is unique and people regret hiring a nanny for a variety of reasons. Parents may wish they had the same amount of time, money or opportunity before starting a family.

I believe that with the help of this article it will not be difficult to find a babysitting job.

An affair with a nanny: How strong Hollywood marriages fell apart | StarHit.

    ru

    Share

Ben Affleck is not the first Hollywood star to have an affair with her children’s nanny. But his story promises to be the most scandalous of all.

The happy marriage of one of the most beautiful Hollywood couples lasted 10 years

    Photo: Getty

Ben followed his wife, Jennifer Garner, and children through the Atlanta fair, waiting for her to get tired of digging through August’s agricultural gifts. The family temporarily moved to the capital of the state of Georgia – both Ben and Jen began filming there. The couple were not happy with such a coincidence, but tried not to injure their two daughters and son with manifestations of a family conflict. They continued to wear rings, although every evening, after putting the children to bed, Jen left her husband to spend the night in a hotel. Noticing the paparazzi, Ben managed a smile. Photographers have not given them a pass for several months. Jen had told her husband to keep his face simple, and Ben was in no position to argue. Much depended on whether Jen would agree in the event of a trial to confirm that his relationship with former nanny Kristin Uzunyan did not go beyond flirting. He did not believe that during a divorce, his wife would decide to take his children away from him, but just in case, he tried to please her in everything. And in the evenings, he had to talk on the phone with Christine, who remained in Los Angeles, in order to persuade her not to wash dirty linen in public …

    Bahama Adventure

Christine showed up at Affleck and Garner’s house this spring. Relations between the spouses by that time had reached the stage of “trial separation”. Ben even moved out, though not far away – to a guest house. Until June, Jennifer had no complaints about the new nanny. But in June, when Garner left for the shoot, disturbing rumors began to reach her. “She was reported that Ben and Chris are spending more and more time together without children,” friends of the actress say. Ben and Jen were going to fly to the Bahamas with their children on June 20, accompanied by two nannies. But everything didn’t go according to plan. Jen had to take care of her sick mother, and she reached the resort only five days later. She immediately noticed that Christine was in an “overly emotional” frame of mind. The nanny explained this by parting with her fiancé, but Jennifer decided that in this state, Christine should stay away from her children, and asked her to leave. Ben, who was flying to Las Vegas for a poker tournament, offered to give Christine a ride in a private jet. You can imagine Jen’s fury when she found out that the nanny followed her husband to Vegas and spent three days with him! Returning from the islands, she fired the nanny, asked her husband to vacate the guest house and filed for divorce.

If you love – keep quiet

Ben moved to the Bel Air Hotel, where on July 17 he was caught with Christine. According to Chris’s acquaintances, this is not the first time she secretly met with Ben: “She is head over heels in love with him and believes that he will marry her as soon as he divorces Jen.” Ben provided Kristin with a large sum of money. A hotel room costs $1,500 per night. Bills from the restaurant and spa run $300 a day. Ben denies paying for luxuries, but how else can an unemployed nanny afford such a lifestyle? The trouble is that these measures are temporary. The magazines have already flooded Christine with offers. She still refuses to share the intimate details of the relationship with Ben, but she is happy to pose in a bikini. Apparently, she will speak when she realizes that the father of three children does not feel any love for her. Moreover, Kristin threatened to sue Jennifer Garner for unjustified dismissal if Ben did not keep his “promises” given to her. And his plans to marry a nanny greedy for fame and money are definitely not included.
