“I love to laugh very much, I know a lot of jokes”: 5 secrets of success from “Mrs. Eurasia 2014” – December 6, 2014

Share

The competition “Mrs. Eurasia 2014″ was held in Yekaterinburg. 28 contestants from 23 to 53 years old competed for the title of the best mother of the Urals. The jury chose the most active, beautiful and artistic mother. The second Vice-Mrs. was the director of the holiday studio – 35-year-old Evgenia Bayanova. The title of First Vice-Mrs. was given to stylist Maria Shelekhova from Pervouralsk. The 36-year-old Ekaterina Borodina was chosen as the best. She is a charming dentist, sweet, affable, benevolent and incredibly modest.

In an interview with an E1.RU correspondent, Ekaterina Borodina told how to always remain a woman in a family with three men, what needs to be done every day in order to achieve success and where to get strength for daily accomplishments.

– Have you ever participated in such competitions?

– Never. I am absolutely not a public person. I’m doing an interview for the first time.

– Why are you the best?

– I don’t think it’s the best. Someone just has to win. And that doesn’t mean I’m the best. It happened, the stars aligned. All girls are wonderful.

– Tell us about yourself

– I work as a dentist. I am 36 years old and I have two children – two boys. I live in a male society, and of course, I can’t just give up positions – I need to be, first of all, a woman for myself, for all my men. To interest them in this, to spur them on. That’s why I entered this competition.

The kitchen, house and other household items are absolutely not everything. A woman should not drive herself into a framework: mom, home, work, order. As a rule, all the other facets of a woman are either hidden or somehow taken away from them. I advise everyone to express themselves and participate in competitions. To show that a woman is … space: any woman can sing, dance, any woman is a big dreamer. It’s just that a lot of people don’t know about it. Every day I try very hard to be better than I was yesterday. Honestly. Try, improve yourself, develop, learn, strive for something new, for impressions, for communication.

Share

– Will life change after this contest?

– My life has already changed two months ago when I came to this competition and passed the casting. I opened the window with clean air, and so many things “flown” into it: friends, communication, excellent teachers, so many opportunities opened up in me. It’s great. After the victory, this “window” opened even wider, and I’m waiting for new “infusions”.

– Not scary?

– Actually, it’s scary – such a responsibility. It is terrible not to justify the trust placed in you. It is easier to receive than to hold, and to bear with dignity. Getting married is elementary. Keeping interest is hard. It is easy to get the crown, but it is necessary to keep the year with dignity. For this, you need to take strength, inspiration. You need to laugh more often. I love to laugh very much. I laugh all the time. I know a lot of jokes. We usually have cheerful companies, we are always noisy at home.

Share

– Do you plan to participate in social projects?

– I’d love to, I just don’t know how it happens. I participated in charity events. I just don’t know who to work with, what to do, but then they sent me, and I hope this is all, of course, to continue. I think everything will work out slowly.

– Can you discover 5 secrets for women to do every day to become better?

– Love yourself. This does not mean that you need to sit at home, pat yourself on the head and do nothing. Love yourself, make yourself happy, do not pay attention to nonsense, to the bad. Let it pass you by. Look for the positive everywhere, look for the good everywhere. First of all in yourself, develop it and increase it. Remain a worthy woman in any situation. You have to be grateful for everything – for a bad experience, for a good experience, for everything that they give you, you need to take, not refuse and be grateful that it came to you. Because if we refuse, if we are ungrateful, we won’t come.

Share

– What is the most important thing in life?

– A difficult philosophical question. If we proceed from the principle – what you give is what you get, then the world is the environment around us. Therefore, the main thing is to keep this harmony in yourself, peace with yourself, so that later the environment will bring you happiness. Because when you are in harmony with yourself and everything is good around you, good people are attracted, and what is not yours will be cut off. Therefore, you need to work on yourself.

Oscar de la Renta: live, love, laugh

world designers Oscar de la Renta. Despite a serious illness (he fought cancer for 8 years, however, information about this was hidden – and only last week de la Renta appointed a new creative director of his company), he remained cheerful and urged to appreciate every day. He is called the creator of American style and the sultan of courtesy: it was he who turned the first ladies into style icons. 9″We will always remember him as the man who made women beautiful and made them feel that way,” said Laura Bush.

He was born in the Dominican Republic to a wealthy Spanish family. As he admitted, his childhood spent on an island in the Caribbean gave him a sense of color and a love for the exotic as a designer.

“I was the youngest of seven children. My family was in the insurance business, and as an only boy, I felt that in the end I was the one who would have to continue the family business, even though I had never seen myself in this field. Mom was an extraordinary woman, she always supported me, so I went to art school in the Dominican Republic. I was 15 or 16 at the time, and I was five or six years younger than everyone else in the class, “recalled de la Renta .

At the age of 18 he went to study at the Accademia San Fernando in Madrid. De la Renta quickly became interested in the fashion world and began to make sketches for the leading Spanish fashion houses, which soon led to a collaboration with the Spanish couturier Cristobal Balenciaga, whom he considered a teacher. Later, de la Renta traded Spain for the main fashion mecca – Paris, where he worked at Balmain and Lanvin.

“I often say this:” You need to have time to live, love and laugh. “We all make a huge mistake, forgetting that one day we will die. It seems to us that we will live forever “But life is like a garden. It has a time to plant something, and then a time to harvest.”

Interestingly, he said about himself: “I’m not a fashion legend!” In addition, de la Renta believed that the most important thing in fashion is “to have a tiny mosquito memory.” He urged never to look back, but only look forward. “You are as good as your latest collection,” said the famous couturier.

“To look well dressed, you must look well naked” – and this statement can be compared with Chekhov’s famous phrase about “everything in a person should be beautiful.”

“Always walk like there are three men behind you” is perhaps the best piece of advice for women.

“I absolutely believe that when people fall, you should try to pick them up. I think everyone in life deserves a second chance. I’m not sure the same can be said for a third or fourth chance. Also, great to have another point of view on your work, different from your own. It’s so important to have someone challenge you sometimes.”

“Love. Be curious. And always try your best.”

“I’m not alone. I like to be surrounded by people. I love being challenged. I like to challenge myself every day. One day I’ll say to myself, ‘I’ve learned how to do this,’ and that’s when I’ll stop.” .

Jessica Chesten in Oscar Resort 2015 at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain

In 1963, de la Renta decided to try his luck in the US and began a collaboration with Elizabeth Arden. 1960-70s were a defining moment in American fashion when New World designers were finally taken seriously in European fashion houses. This is the lion’s share of de la Renta’s merit. Friendship with the first ladies, especially with Nancy Reagan and Hillary Clinton, helped him to gain a foothold on the fashion podium.
