Extracurricular activity held on the eve of Christmas. Combines cognitive elements and elements of creativity, which contributes to the development of different UUD.
Purpose of the lesson: acquaintance with the Christmas holiday and folk traditions.
Tasks:
- introduce the customs of Christmas,
- cultivate a sense of kindness, responsibility,
- to develop the creative abilities of children.
Pre-treatment.
Two leaders – a girl and a boy. Two groups of guys are preparing theatrical performances. The first group acts out a scene at the cave of the baby Jesus. The second group – the scene “Carols”.
You also need to prepare everything you need to construct a Christmas star: glue, colored cardboard or paper, foil, tinsel, scissors, rhinestones, thread, beads for each small group. For literary creativity, you need to prepare sheets of paper and pens.
Presenter: Dear guys! Our meeting today is special. Why do you think? ( Children’s answers ).
Yes, very soon a bright holiday will come to earth – Christmas. The New Year traditionally comes noisily: songs, round dances, fireworks, laughter. How do you think Christmas comes? ( Children’s answers ).
Narrator: Yes, it’s a quiet family holiday because baby Jesus was born on that day.
You probably all know that the custom of decorating a Christmas tree for New Year and Christmas came to us from Germany. Do you know why the Christmas tree? ( Children’s answers ).
Our guys will tell you and show you.
Scene 1
Participants dressed as palm trees, olive trees, fir trees, angels.
Master: When Baby Jesus was born in Bethlehem, a new bright star lit up in the sky, as if welcoming a wonderful holiday – Christmas. Many understood the meaning of this miraculous sign and rushed to the light of the Star of Bethlehem: the surrounding shepherds and wise men-magicians, who lived far in the East, hurried; birds and animals, chirping and purring, also rushed to the newborn from all over the world. Even the plants brought their gifts to the baby. Some are a magical aroma, others are delicious juicy fruits, others are bright flowers and soft leaves. Spruce was the last to come – after all, her path from the North was very far! She approached and stood modestly on the sidelines.
Proud Palm: Look who’s here! And what will you please the baby? Maybe you will give him your prickly needles? See how tender and soft my leaves are! Baby will love playing with them!
Olive: Oh, don’t make me laugh! She will present her fruits to him – hard bitter cones! Or smeared with sticky resin that cannot be washed off! And why did you come to this holiday, because you have nothing to give the baby!
The angel looks sadly at the trees and shakes his head regretfully.
Narrator: Thus the proud Palma and the Olive tree mocked the modest Christmas tree, until a heavenly angel took pity on her and decorated the Christmas tree with stars from the night sky.
(An angel arrives and decorates the Christmas tree with stars).
Presenter: Spruce was delighted, grew bolder, went up to the baby. Seeing the beauty, little Jesus smiled and reached for the beautiful tree. Since then, the Elegant Green Christmas Tree has been considered a symbol of the New Year and Christmas, it comes to every home and pleases children and adults with its festive outfit …
Thanks to our artists!
Host: We also have a green tree, guys, and you have stuff on your tables. Let’s help our Christmas tree and make Christmas stars for it. ( Work in small groups 10-15 minutes. Christmas carols ). After the stars are ready, the representatives of the groups approach the Christmas tree. Christmas tree decoration. Look, you, like that kind Angel, made our Christmas tree smart and beautiful.
Presenter: And now let’s ask the Christmas Angel to bring gifts to all people. What do you think you can ask for everyone and for yourself? Think about how you will convey your request. The guys in a chain say their wishes, wish them health, happiness, peace.
Host: I think that the Angel will surely hear us and fulfill our desires, because we ask not only for ourselves, but for all people on Earth.
Presenter: Our people have another tradition connected with Christmas: carols. After all, it was after this holiday that everyone’s favorite merry Christmas time came – holy evenings. Sleigh rides, divination and traditional caroling. Tell me, do you know how to carol? (Children’s answers).
Narrator: Children used to gather on the outskirts of the village and go from house to house with mallets, bells and rattles. Sometimes they dressed up in funny and wonderful costumes to amuse people. With the words: “Kolyada came, she brought Christmas,” the carolers went around the houses, praising the owners. For this they received treats. If the owners rejoiced at the carolers, treated them, then the children sang them a carol with good wishes:
Good man
Born rye is good:
Spikelet thick,
The straw is empty!
Leader: If the owners were stingy and did not give anything, they could sing this:
At the stingy peasant
Born rye is good:
Spikelet is empty,
Straw thick!
Or:
To the yard of devils, to the garden of worms!
Another carol prepared by our guys. A staged performance of a prepared carol.
Scene 2
There is a gang of noisy guys on the stage. They knock on a makeshift window. The window opens, grandma looks out.
Carolers: Hello, good people! We have come to you to praise Christ, to amuse you! Have some gingerbread!
Grandmother puts sweets into the caroling bag.
Carolers: Thank you! Our song for you:
A carol came
Christmas Eve
Who will serve the pie,
That is why the barn is full,
Sheep with oats.
A stallion with a tail!
Carolers are knocking on the next window. Grandpa looks out the window.
– Hello, good people! We have come to you to praise Christ, to amuse you! Have some gingerbread!
Grandfather waves his hand, shouts, closing the window:
– Well, you! Go away!
Carolers sing:
Who will not give a pie.
That’s a chicken leg…
Narrator: And now I invite everyone to play the role of carolers and compose small carols for generous and hospitable hosts. The guys unite in groups of 4-5 people and compose comic wishes. At this time, the music of Stravinsky’s “Petrushka” sounds. Then each group presents carols. We got, for example, like this:
Potato harvest, carrot harvest,
Bread kvass for you – a lot of all supplies!
Or:
Happiness, health,
Live with love!
Presenter: People have always believed that on frosty days in January, the good goddess Kolyada comes, brings joy and health to the house.
Thank you, dear ones, for your good wishes! But what is Kolyada without refreshments! We invite everyone to tea!
The holiday ends with festive tea drinking and New Year’s round dance.
Christmas carols 2022-2023 for children: 100 short Christmas carols
3.7/5 – (2604 votes)
Hello everyone!
If you celebrated the New Year 2023 with noise and din, then the next holiday is approaching – Christmas. But before that, according to tradition, from January 6 to 7, caroling takes place throughout the country. The most basic attributes of this event are dressing up, that is, dressing up and reading and singing carols and the right songs. There are also games and divination.
Do you even know what a carol is? To be honest, I never even thought about this question before. But now I had to, and I share information with you. It turns out that this word means “calends”, it’s funny though, this is such a song with wishes for a good life, wealth, good health and a chic harvest.
Adults and children walked around the courtyards and apartments and sang songs, and those who opened the doors to them in response treated them with goodies. And this mood and the resulting charge of energy remained for a couple of months. And a lot of positive emotions. I remember as a child I had to perform such tunes. Yes, it was very fun and funny.
There are practically no authors for these wonderful songs, they are all invented by the Russian people. They are performed mainly during the Christmas period, so to speak, some Slavic rites are held.
I suggest you take into service all these not too long texts and memorize with the kids, and then walk and sing. Good luck, let’s go.

Short Christmas carols for children
Do you know how to carol properly? And another question, when? That’s right, in the evening from 6 to 7 January. But, besides this, you should know some more features, which I will tell you about right now. Read and memorize, because it is very interesting, find out who the bell ringer, mekhonosha and star ringer are. And the term caroling itself means the following (I made clippings from the newspaper):
Now let’s go directly to the rhymes, chants, choose any one you like and enchant everyone.
***
So it was in the world
For many years in a row
On such a magical, good evening
Angels fly to us from heaven
They bring goodness, hope,
Blessing to every home
Happy New Year to everyone
And Merry Christmas!

Kolyada, carol
Open the gate,
Get out the chests,
Serve piglets.
Even a ruble,
Even a nickel,
Let’s not leave the house like that!
Give us a candy,
Or maybe a coin
Have no regrets
Christmas Eve!
***
Sir, gentlemen
Sir, gentlemen,
Master’s wife,
Open the doors
And give us gifts!
Pie, kalach
Or something else!
***
Kolyada, carol
Kolyada, carol,
The other day of Christmas!
Who will serve a pie,
To that yard of the stomach.
Who will not give a pie,
To that gray mare
Yes, the grave is torn off!
***
***
Rejoice, rejoice
Good people with me,
And with rapture clothe
In the robe of holy joy.
Now God has appeared in the world –
God of gods and King of kings.
Not in a crown, not in purple
This Heavenly Priest.
He was not born in the wards
And not in clean houses.
There was no gold to be seen,
Where He lay in swaddling clothes.
Unfit He fit
In a cramped manger, like a poor man.
Why was He born?
Why is it so poor?
In order to deliver us
From the devil’s nets
To exalt and glorify us
With our love
We will praise God forever
For such a day of triumph!
Allow me to congratulate you
Happy Christmas Day!
We wish you many years,
Many, many, many years.

Kolyada, carol,
Who will not give a pie,
We are a cow by the horns,
Who will not give donuts,
We are bumps in the forehead,
Who will not give a piglet,
To that neck on the flank.

Carol came
Christmas Eve,
Give me a cow,
Butter head.
And God forbid,
Who is in this house.
The rye is thick for him,
The rye is thin.
An octopus from an ear,
A carpet from grain for him,
A pie from half-grain.
The Lord would give you
Both life and being,
And wealth.
And create for you, Lord, Even better than that!

Kolyada, carol

The day of general fun has come!

Young, young, vintage!
We bring congratulations to everyone,
We are waiting for treats for this!

Pity baby,

Joy without borders has come,
Let’s celebrate in the morning!
God’s health to you
We wish you for years!

Like Christ’s Christmas
Rolled under the window,
Nikanorov’s yard
On seven pillars.
Turned poles,
Gilded.
Our carol
Neither small nor great.
She sews under the window,
Serves pies.
Here in the master’s house

Do you know that the most famous carol is Carol Of The Bells and, apparently, as I understand it, it has a Ukrainian origin.
Such a song is ritual and it is sung at Christmas.
Keep the processed and finished composition from the composer Nikolai Leontovich. And by the way, on January 13, the so-called Vasiliev evening, which is called Generous, is celebrated. On this day, you can also sing:
Shchedryk, Shchedryk, Shchedrovochka,
A swallow has arrived.
I began to chirp to myself,
Call the owner:
– Come out, come out, master,
Look at the sheepfold –
Sheep have lambed there,
And the lambs were born
You have all good goods,
You will have more than one penny,
Though not money, then sex.
You have a black-browed wife.
Shchedryk, Shchedryk, Shchedrovochka,
A swallow has arrived.
Or here’s another tune that can be performed by groups in your city or village.
On a starry night, Christ is born.
In a manger simple was laid.
An angel descended from heaven into the field,
He proclaimed a message to the shepherds:
“Rejoice, all—Christ is born.
He was laid in a simple manger.
Glory, glory, glory to God in the highest!
Goodwill to all people!
An angelic choir sang a song,
Proclaimed peace on earth.
Here are more carols for the Christmas holiday:
The night is quiet, the night is holy,
People are sleeping, the distance is clear;
Only in the barn the light burns;
There the holy couple does not sleep,
The child is dozing in the manger.
The child is dozing in the manger.
The night is quiet, the night is holy,
The height lit up,
A bright Angel from heaven,
He brought the news to the shepherds:
“Christ was born to you! Christ is born to you!”
Silent night, holy night,
A star burns in the sky;
The shepherds have been on their way for a long time,
They hasten to come to Bethlehem:
They will see Christ there. They will see Christ there.
The night is quiet, the night is holy,
Happiness awaits all hearts.
God, let me come to Christ,
Find light joy in him.
Be glorified forever, Christ! Glory forever, Christ!

Merry carol
Carol, carol…
And the woman has a beard.
And my grandfather grew a tail.
He’s running around in the garden, scoundrel.
Kolyada, carol…
We don’t care about grief.
God will give health in full.
Bins will be full.

We dance all year long.
And also on all fours
We boldly climb the stairs.

Nothing but cold.

Tyapu blunder,
Hurry, give me a carol!
The legs are cold,
I’ll run home.
Who will give,
He is a prince,
Who will not give –
That in the dirt!
***
Kalidim, Kalidim, I am alone with the father,
The father sent me,
So that I could get bread.
But I don’t want bread, give me sausage,
Don’t give me sausage, I’ll smash the whole house.
***
Kolyadin, kolyadin,
I’m alone with my mother,
Knee-length jacket,
Give me a pie, uncle!
Open the chest,
Give me a snout!
What’s in the oven – swords in a bag!
***
Here comes mother, winter has come,
Open the gate!
Christmas time has come!
Carols have arrived!
***
***
Kolyada came on the eve of Christmas.
God bless whoever is in this house.
We wish all good people:
Gold, silver,
Lush pies,
Soft pancakes,
Good health,
Cow butter.
***
How many donkeys,
So many little pigs for you;
How many Christmas trees,
So many cows;
How many candles,
So many sheep.
Happiness to you,
Host and hostess,
Great health,
Happy New Year,
With all the family!
Carol, carol!
***
Good evening, generous evening,
Good people to health.
Falcon flew in,
Sat down at the window,
Cut to the end.
And the leftovers for hats for the owners,
And trimmings and for belts,
Hello, Happy Holidays!
***
Carol came
On the eve of Christmas.
Whoever gives a pie,
The barn is full of cattle,
A barn with oats,
A stallion with a tail.
You will give us –
We will praise,
But you will not give us –
We will reproach!
Carol, carol!
Serve the pie!

A star is shining in the sky,
At the hour of Holy Christmas
Kolyada came,
She went around all the houses,
Knocked at the doors, with windows,
She walked laughing and playing . ..
And behind the noisy Kolyada,
carolers in a crowd …
Everyone rejoices and laughs,
they sing a loud song:
“Kolyada was born,
on the eve of Christmas …”
***
A carol came
On the eve of Christmas,
Give cow,
Butter head.
God forbid that
Who is in this house.
The rye is thick for him,
The rye is thin.
An octopus from an ear,
From the grain of a carpet for him,
From a half-grain pie.
The Lord would endow you
And life, and being,
And wealth.
And create for you, Lord,
Even better than that!
***
Carol, carol!
Open the gate!
Give me a pie,
A piece of bread,
A pot of sour cream!
Do not serve pies –
We let in bedbugs,
Mustachioed cockroaches
And striped animals!
Carol, carol!
You give us a pie,
Or a slice of bread,
Or half a ruble of money,
Or a chicken with a crest,
Cockerel with a scallop!
***
Carols, carols
Open the gates,
Get out the chests,
Serve piglets.
Even a ruble,
Even a nickel,
Let’s not leave the house like that!
Give us a candy,
Or maybe a coin
Have no regrets
Christmas Eve!
Sparrow flies,
twirls its tail,
And you people know
Cover the tables,
Receive guests,
Meet Christmas!
For greetings, for a treat
You accept congratulations!
You will live together for up to two hundred years!
Happiness to you and good health!
Merry Christmas,
Happy New Year!

The fact that the cold is not a problem,
Kolyada is knocking on the door.
Christmas is coming to our house,
It brings a lot of joy.
Burning stars for many years
Announces birth.
And the Universe for a reason
Praises our Christ.
Behold, the Lord is a star in the sky
Lights up in a fast run.
He hurries to congratulate you
With triumph in this good hour.
On this day he became the Father
He gave the world a Son with a crown.
To make the spirit of earthly people
Become richer and kinder.
You rather open the door
Let the spirit in from heaven home.
So that the fire of love burns,
Merry Christmas, the world is your lot!

0117 And it’s not difficult for me to dance,
For a ten in my hand.
If there is a son in the house,
Give the hostess / owner me some cheese,
Since you have a daughter in the house,
I will ask for a barrel of honey.
If there are more sweets,
I will shelter myself in my pocket.
Well, hostess/master, don’t be shy!
Treat me soon!
***
I’m caroling, caroling,
So I can smell the smells.
Don’t forget to give me a drink,
And then give me a snack!
Congratulations on the carol
And I wish the owners,
So that there is prosperity in the house
Everything went smoothly in the family!
***
Caroling, caroling
We wander from family to family
We will tell you poems,
You give us pies wine take a thimble!
***
Open the stranger
And give me a gold coin.
Somehow I carols
I sing without looking back
I can stay awake at night
And yell songs.
Think how sweet
Sleep without carols!
***
***
The magical night is coming,
The holy night is coming,
It brings bright joy,
Illuminating souls.
Open the gates.
So that your house is full
And good and good,
It is good to live in it
Without worries and hardships.
Carols are caroling
From centuries today,
So that the star of the Lord’s Grace
shines on you.

Carol-molyada
She came young.
We found a Christmas carol
In Ivanov’s yard!
Hey, uncle Ivan,
Take out the good in the yard!
Like frost on the street
Freezes the nose,
Does not order to stand for a long time,
Orders to serve soon,
Or a warm pie,
Or money with a spear,
Or a silver ruble!

Christmas carol
A carol comes to us
On the eve of Christmas.
Asks, asks for carols
At least a piece of cake.
Who will give a pie to a carol,
He will be in everything!
The livestock will be healthy,
The barn will be full of cows
Who will hold his piece,
The whole year will be lonely.
Will not find good luck, happiness,
The year will be wasted in bad weather.
Don’t feel sorry for the pie,
Otherwise you’ll create a debt!

A carol came on the eve of Christmas.
We walked, we were looking for a holy carol.
We found a carol near Romanov’s yard.

There are three towers in the middle of the courtyard.
In the first tower – the red sun,
The red sun – the hostess.
In the second chamber – the moon is bright,
In the third chamber – asterisks are frequent.
The moon is shining – then the owner is here.
Stars are frequent – little kids.
