We provide a healthy balance of traditional structure, yet progressive teaching methods in a fun and creative learning environment.
Lil’ People’s World goals are to build meaningful partnerships and provide it’s families and the community with a positive early childhood education throughout each Early Learning Center.
Lil’ People’s World Early Learning Center opened its first location in 1993. Lil’ People’s World began as a family-owned and operated center and continues to be today. From the start, Lil’ People’s has seen the need for quality care within the Child Care community. The motivation behind the first Learning Center was to improve upon the family-based child care centers and offer the quality of the structure found in corporate centers, but with a personal family touch.
After a successful start at the Kirkland location, Lil’ People’s World expanded it’s community within the Puget Sound area while implementing new goals in innovative and progressive curriculum. This interactive curriculum is now recognized as “Creative Curriculum,” which is used throughout all Lil’ People’s World Centers on a daily basis.
Lil’ People’s World view children as capable, intuitive, expressive individuals with endless possibilities for development. As educators, it is important to build on our children’s individual strengths and help them develop the skills they need to work through challenging moments. Our students achieve this through the environments within the classrooms, which stimulate and foster the growth, social and emotional development. Lil’ People’s World recognizes each child’s unique interests as the starting point to expand their knowledge in all developmental categories.

“I have sent my 2 year old here since she was 4 months old, and now we’re sending our newest member of the family there as well. The thing that I love most about this place is how much the teachers care about the kids. They are all so warm and loving – my daughter has loved all of her teachers dearly. They’re very flexible and let you choose the days you would like your child to attend. They did such a good job in helping get my daughter on a solid nap schedule and I honestly think she’s a great napper/sleeper largely because of them! I recommend Lil People’s World to all of my friends in the area with kids. “

“The environment my children are surrounded at LPW is wonderful! The teachers and staff are patient and work very well with providing learning opportunities and seem to understand that each child responds to different approaches. Due to moving around, my children have been at other centers, I have loved this one most! The provide a good balance of organized activity, learning, and playtime. I appreciate that my children are well cared for and would recommend this child care center to any parent.”
Tai H.
“This is our daughter’s first experience with Preschool. She’s excelled with learning her letter, numbers and colors. The teachers have been wonderful. We would recommend Lil’ People’s World to our friends and family.”
Jenifer S.
“Our daughter started here at Lil People’s World in Bellevue only a little over a month ago. Since being here, I have seen her grow so much! The teachers are all fantastic and seem to truly care not only about our daughter, but all the children in the center. I highly recommend them!”

“My son Jayden, who is 5 years old, has attended LPW since he was 18 months old. As parents, we found LPW to be the center that provides Jayden with the love and care he deserves, and provides us as parent’s peace of mind knowing he is well cared for. The curriculum keeps Jayden engaged and challenged. The staff is caring, professional and dedicated to providing all of the children with the best of care possible.”
Chris P.
“Our daughter Kennedy joined Lil’ People’s World a couple of years ago and the progress/growth she made has been tremendous. We have seen rapid improvement in her cognitive and verbal skills. She is excited to go to school everyday and thoroughly enjoys everyday she spends at LPW.”
Melissa
“We’ve been members of the North Seattle Lil’ People’s World since August 2009. The staff has made attending “school” a rewarding and educational experience for both of our sons. It’s reassuring to know that my sons are not only well taken care of, they are learning, growing, making new friends and experiencing things in a new environment. They truly care for the children and their families in the center.”

Amazing little world | World Preschool
- Project theme: Amazing Little World
- Project type: Cognitive-creative
- Duration: short-term (1 month)
- Project participants: Children of younger groups, middle groups, parents, parents, parents, parents, parents, and parents pupils
Relevance:
Spring has come, the snow has begun to melt. The first grass appeared from under the snow. Children during walks with interest began to observe the first insects. They began to ask questions: “Where does the spider live?”, “Why does the spider weave a web?”, “Why do bees fly from flower to flower?” and others. This is how the project “Amazing Little World” arose.
Getting to know nature is one of the tasks in working with children. At the same time, it is very important that the acquired knowledge is not presented in isolation, without reference to a whole complex of phenomena. Children should always see the connection of a particular species with the environment, its influence on this environment. When children get acquainted with nature, opportunities for aesthetic, patriotic, moral education open up. Communication with nature enriches the spiritual world of the child, contributes to the formation of positive moral qualities.
Target:
• To introduce children to the diversity of the world of invertebrates (insects, spiders, snails, worms).
Tasks:
- •To form in children elementary ideas about the diversity of invertebrates, their structure, lifestyle and significance in nature.
- • To form in children an idea of the relationship of a living organism with the environment.
- •To form the skills of research activities in children.
- •Activate and enrich children’s vocabulary on the topic (beetles, ants, nectar, honeycombs, etc.).
- • To develop children’s cognitive interest, creativity, speech, thinking, fine motor skills.
- •To lay the foundations for environmental education in children.
- • To educate children in a caring, friendly attitude towards small creatures.
Expected result:
- •Children have elementary ideas about the features of appearance, methods of movement, lifestyle of small representatives of the local fauna.
- •Children find similarities and differences between insects.
- •Children distinguish insects from other invertebrates.
- •Children understand the importance of invertebrates in nature.
- •Children show a pronounced interest in natural objects (ants, bees, spiders, etc.).
- •Children write a descriptive story about an insect using a reference chart.
- •Children take care of nature.
Advertising message

Conclusion:
Acquaintance with nature is one of the tasks in working with children. During the implementation of the project, the children learned to see the connection of small representatives of the local fauna with the environment, their impact on this environment. They establish the dependence of the life of invertebrates on changes in nature, as well as their adaptability. Children have developed the skills of observation and research in the process of search and cognitive activity. During the period of work on the project, the children replenished their vocabulary. In the course of creative activity, they developed imagination, thinking, fine motor skills, and tactile sensations. And most importantly, in my opinion, children began to understand that all small living beings are part of nature, without which our planet cannot exist.

“Happy 30th birthday, beloved Sunny Kindergarten!”, children from Komarich congratulate
September 27, 2022
Each kindergarten has its own history, each kindergarten is a small world, with its own successes, achievements, with its own unique comfort and traditions.
Shchukina Oksana Leonidovna – head of kindergarten No. 3, senior teacher, competent leader. She immerses herself in work with her head, sparing no effort and health, not stopping there, a “locomotive” that goes forward, constantly improving itself and pulling the team along with it. She spoke with great love about her team and pupils: “All kindergartens are similar to each other with the sweet ringing of children’s voices, the smell of delicious food and uncontrollable fun. Children can afford everything in this fabulous world. But, most importantly, everyone can afford to be just a child, just be themselves. Personality. Small but individual. Once they told me: “Why do they call you Oksana? You can not do it this way!”. I stubbornly replied: “Why not? They are my friends, the most sincere, kind, and able to empathize with every living being in this world. They are individuals, I am an individual – we are equal.”
I am Oksana even now, although I am far from twenty, for them, my most sincere and beloved ones, my little berries. This year, our kindergarten celebrated its 30th anniversary. On the scale of world history, this is just a moment. For us, it’s a lifetime! And I am gratified that now not only I am Oksana, but all our other employees too – Natasha, Sveta, Lyuda, Larisa, Lena, Tanya, Ira, Nadia. This is how we are, once wrong, but, as time has shown, very correct now, within the framework of modern education, within the framework of the Federal State Educational Standard, giving birth to the intrinsic value of childhood. Even then, acting as our hearts dictated, we intuitively worked with an emphasis on development.
I have been working in our sweet “Solnyshka” since 2000, I came to this sunny garden after maternity leave and brought my two children. So this “Sun” and warmed us all from the first minute of our stay, under the same sun my third daughter grew up. Only warm memories left years of work side by side with a wonderful woman, a professional in her field, the first head Elena Nikolaevna Asmetkina. She took over the kindergarten at the construction stage and for many years, invariably, headed it. She was a mentor for young, talented teachers who have been working almost from the foundation of the kindergarten to this day, remaining as active, creative and sincere as ever. These are not just educators – they are real mothers for their pupils, ready to console, cheer, feed and teach everything, since the creative potential of our kindergarten employees is huge. All our teachers are good fairies, who, even when they try to show feigned severity, laugh in their eyes. And our guys feel all this kindness, laugh out loud, together with us at funny stories and fairy tales, dance and sing in such a way that it becomes fun in the soul of everyone who passes by our kindergarten, because very often it takes place right on the street. Parents are our main assistants and support in all matters, because they see the results of our work on the cheerful and intelligent faces of our young geniuses, the very best for us in all respects.
We have a lot to be proud of. These are the victories of our guys in various competitions, these are simple, small everyday victories over ourselves. Victory for each of us. Because we are friends! We are a team. We are like-minded people. Together – we are force! And may it be so for many, many years to come.
Despite all the difficulties that we sometimes have to overcome, and they, of course, occur in any developing organism, I want to say that I was incredibly lucky with the team. Thank you all for your great work!
After all, in our hands is the most fragile vessel.
The Lord has entrusted the souls of children to us,
They, even by accident, cannot be pricked.
Only cherish, love and teach,
Fill with happiness and tenderly store.
We carry this truth around the world!
And we distribute it to everyone around, in secret!”
