In The Roman Catholic Diocese of Reno is an ecclesiastical area (or diocese) of the Roman Catholic Church in the city of Rino, Nevada, centered in the United States. The diocese consists of the county of Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Floor and Washer. The Bishop of Reno has his own liturgical and canonical residence ( pulpit ) in the Cathedral of St. Thomas Aquinas.
The See of Reno is the suffragan of the Diocese of the Ecclesiastical Province of San Francisco. Other suffragans include the dioceses of Honolulu, Las Vegas, Oakland, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Jose, Santa Rosa, and Stockton.

On December 23, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Randolph Roque Calvo, of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, as the seventh Bishop of Reno. Calvo, born in Agana, Guam is the first priest from Guam to head a diocese. Calvo was ordained and ordained to the episcopacy on February 17, 2006 by George Hugh Niederauer, Archbishop of San Francisco.
