AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Glenview Knowledge Beginnings Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Interactive Kindergarten (5–6 Years)

Kindergarten is a critical year for young learners. Experienced KinderCare teachers will
tap into your child’s natural curiosity to help get them even more prepared for
elementary school. Our engaging lessons make the most of current technology while
offering plenty of hands-on play and exploration.

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it. )

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • I can’t thank you and your dedicated staff and teachers enough for the amazing two years you have provided to both B and T.  It is a wonderful environment and both boys have grown and flourished under your guidance.  We will miss calling Knowledge Beginnings their school and being a part of your community.

    Eileen H – KinderCare Parent
  • We will be forever grateful for the love, support and care that you and your staff have shown my family. My boys have had the most amazing experience and developed friendships that I hope continue for years to come. I am praying that the transition to something new goes smoothly. Our last three years at KB have been beyond our expectations. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!

    Laura E – KinderCare Parent
  • Letting go is hard, but letting go of your child is excruciating. I tried other daycares and, when I would pick my daughter up, she had tear stains on her face from the day and was miserable. It broke my heart. Then I found Knowledge Beginnings. Now when I pick her up, she cries because she doesn’t want to leave! She comes home singing songs she learned at school, tells me all about her teachers and friends, and she is just plain happy. There’s not a better testimonial than that! Thank you Knowledge Beginnings! You are the answer to our prayers.

    Jill Geimer-Vurnakes – KinderCare Parent
  • Our girls have been at Knowledge Beginnings in Glenview since they were at least 1 year old. The teachers are caring and approachable. It is wonderful to see your kids learning new things and being excited about it while developing their first friendships. You know that your kids are happy when you go to pick them up after a long day and they do not want to leave! All classrooms and programs are really good but I would like to highlight Kindergarten. Kids learn how to read very early in the program, are taught about arts and science, and have fun/educational monthly field trips.

    Laura R. – KinderCare Parent
  •

We brought our older daughter (now in second grade) to the center the first day it opened. She thrived in the warm, supportive and safe environment. We knew this was the right choice for our family and we haven’t been disappointed. When our second daughter was born we didn’t hesitate to enroll her in the same center. The staff have always provided individual care that reflects the unique nature of each of our girls. The age-appropriate and fun academic programs insured our older daughter was ready to tackle kindergarten. Our 2-year-old wakes up on school mornings asking to see Miss Katie and dances her way into school. We have always valued the partnership we as parents have with the staff and know our daughters are cared for and happy in wonderful ways.

    Diane B. – KinderCare Parent
  • Knowledge Beginnings has been a significant part of my life for five years. I have enrolled all three of my sons (ages five, three, and one) since they were each three months old. What makes KB special is the people. Sounds cliche, but it’s true. From the director, to the teachers, to the cook! I have felt very fortunate to be able to drop my children off at a facility every morning and feel that they are getting consistent attention, positive reinforcement, and genuine affection. The teachers are prepared, interested, and personable. At each age level we have been able to take advantage of each teacher’s individual passions. Some teachers are artists and my child may come home every day with an amazing art project. Some teachers are scientists, and my child may come home with stories about “Experiment Friday” and pictures of himself in a lab coat performing one! Some teachers are bookworms and expressly seek out a book about rhinos because my son is obsessed with pachyderms. Even teachers my children do not have as classroom teachers know their names and surprise me with the insight they have into my boys. Whatever strength the individual teacher brings to the classroom, it is noteworthy that through the years, all the teachers have made me feel that my children stand out, are special, and memorable. We have never referred to KB as a daycare, nor have the teachers or staff. We call it “school.” While it is play-based care, as it should be for infants through prekindergarten, there is an academic component at each level. There are lessons plans (even in the infant room!), curriculum planning, and skill sets that the teachers help the children master. KB takes their curriculum very seriously, but are flexible enough to allow teachers to augment their teachings, as is desired and appropriate. I am delighted to say that I am sometimes surprised by the skills (like public speaking, reading, math, social, and academic) my boys have, that were developed at KB, that I never knew they had. Group care was a decision I made because I felt it was important to have my sons in a social environment with peers during their early years. I wanted them to learn to interact and share and be sympathetic. What I found at KB is much more and I am thrilled to have found such a safe, fun, and educational place to care for my children.

    Becky K. – KinderCare Parent
  • We recently had our parent teacher conference, for our daughter Sarina, at Knowledge Beginnings School in Glenview. Ms. Cloey did an excellent job presenting our daughters achievements and challenges. She was very professional and did a great job explaining things and asking us if we had any questions or concerns. We want to give a special thanks to Ms. Cloey and Knowledge Beginnings School.

Jeremy and Seema Malveaux – KinderCare Parent
  • As parents of twin 2 year olds about to enter preschool for the first time, my husband and I were quite nervous and had many questions for the school we would select. After touring Knowledge Beginnings twice, speaking to the staff at length and hearing what other parents had to say, we knew KB was the place for our boys.
The teachers and support staff create a safe, warm, friendly and fun environment for all children. Each day our boys come home with a special drawing, story, or anecdote to share with us. They love school and often ask if the teachers can come visit them at home! KB encouraged both boys when it came to potty training in a nurturing way. Now, they love using the toilet and have a sense of pride when they are successful in that area!
Overall, KB will always be a special place for our family since our boys have learned so much here and have developed social and independence skills.
    Thank you KB!
