   Alum: I would not trade the academic experience I had at Paideia for anything. As a college junior, I can confidently say that I received a better educated than most of my peers. Both students and professors tell me they are impressed by my knowledge and reasoning skills in and out of the classroom. I attribute these skills to my classical education.
   Paideia’s environment, however, has much room for improvement. Favoritism runs rampant, and I was told multiple times that I would be unable to maintain my Christian faith at a public university. I was discouraged constantly during my college search by Jenny Stowe, the guidance counselor. She did not approve of my college, and she let me know it. Additionally, many teachers also cross the line from teacher to parental figure and become over-involved in students’ personal lives. Boundaries were often crossed with teachers prying into my personal life.
   I did not enjoy Paideia’s environment, but I wouldn’t trade the education for a better one…. Read 24 reviews

Even though our daughter encountered disciplinary action (which she very much earned) early in her experience there–for behavior at which nobody would have batted an eyelash had she been in public school–we are thrilled with the environment, the academics, and the administration at SJNCS. The teachers and administration are engaged with the students as well as the families. The teachers are nurturing and genuinely care about the character of our children. It’s wonderful to have a school that is an extension of our home and where I know my children are safe, loved, and cared for when they’re at school. I’m thankful for a school that stands firm on God’s Word and teaches Truth, especially with the culture we’re living in today.     Our daughter has been there for first and second grade, starting during a time when DPS was shut down due to COVID. (St. Elizabeth’s had such incredible leadership, staff and community that it was able to stay open.) She has excelled there. NUTRITION
