- Welcome to KinderCare in Yukon, Oklahoma! We are very excited to
meet with you and your family. We believe in developing the whole
child with an emphasis on assisting your child’s growth their
social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our experts
designed our classrooms where every activity and lesson helps
prepare your child for success in school and beyond. Our Discovery
Learning Centers include Dramatic Play, Blocks and Building, Art,
Reading, Writing, Math and Manipulative, and Science.You’ll find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment
full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels,
and children’s literature. By helping your child connect spoken
words and print, we’re helping develop early literacy and writing
skills.Whether your child has first words or first grade on the
horizon, we’re excited to show you how everything in our center is
designed for learning! - Your child’s safety is a top priority for us here at the Yukon
KinderCare. Each one of our staff members is trained and certified
in CPR and First Aid. We have taken great care in the development
of a Center Safety and Evacuation plan which is regularly updated
and discussed at our monthly staff meetings. We also have a keypad
entry to our facility and the code is changed once every six months
to ensure the safety of all. You can be sure that your child is in

Dawson, built in 1896 by miners at the confluence of the Yukon and Klondike rivers, was for several years one of the main centers of the gold rush and the most populous city in Canada.
As soon as the mines were depleted, its heyday was over, seemingly forever. But after half a century, the city began to turn into a popular tourist center. Now tens of thousands of guests come here every year to plunge into its unique atmosphere. The Dawson Historic Site includes about 20 buildings associated with the Klondike Rush period. Bonanza Creek (formerly Rabbit Creek) is an epochal site where the first gold nugget was found in the Yukon. On its shore stands the historical “Dredger No. 4” – a huge multi-storey machine for the extraction of alluvial gold. The Palace Grand Theater, a wooden building 189, has become a cultural symbol of the times of the fever9 years old with a beautiful exterior. It has now been restored to all its former glory. Interesting excursions are held here, more like real performances. And anyone interested in the life and customs of the Yukon Indians should definitely visit the Dänojà Zho Cultural Center in the traditional territory of the Triondek First Nation.
Watson Lake is a small town in southeastern Yukon, located near the Upper Liard Indian community. It is an important transportation hub as the Campbell Highway and the Alaska Highway meet here. The city also has an airport that provides services for corporate and charter flights. One of the most interesting and unusual sights of the city is the Sign Post Forest. This is an unusual collection of signs, the first of which was installed here in 1942 by homesick builders of the Alaska Highway. This practice was quickly picked up by tourists. Now the unique attraction has 75,000 signs and is constantly updated. A visit to the Northern Lights Space and Science Center will allow you to admire this beautiful natural phenomenon on a large panoramic screen regardless of the season. On the territory of the city there are several lakes and Wye Lake Park, where you can have a wonderful picnic. Not far from the village passes the Rancheria Falls route, which leads to a beautiful waterfall. nine0003
Movie Hill, Elsa and Mayo are semi-abandoned towns linked by the famous Silver Route (Yukon Route 11).
At one time, these settlements were very busy centers of silver mining in the Yukon. Today Kino Hill and Elsa are practically ghost towns. In each of them there are only a few inhabitants left. Residential and administrative buildings are partially preserved here, and numerous old mines are located around. In Kino Hill you can visit the Silver Mining Museum. The village of Mayo on the Stuart River is located on the territory of the Nacho Nyak Dun Indian community. Now just over 200 people live here. Visiting these three picturesque villages is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of the region and enjoy the beautiful nature of Canada.
