AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Thurman KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Overland Park, Kansas
90,000 City Kansazas, US Sedgwick, sprawled out a large American city – Wichita. Wichita is native to southern Kansas. The city has a predominantly temperate continental climate. It is quite hot in summer, there is little precipitation, and winters are quite severe and humid. Wichita is a place from which waves of incredible charm emanate, owning a rich historical and cultural heritage. Today it is a major aviation, cultural, historical and educational center of the United States. Here you can see both quiet old streets and ultra-modern buildings, enjoy peace in one of the city parks or plunge into the frantic rhythm of nightclubs and restaurants. Wichita may not be as huge as, for example, the city of Chicago or Los Angeles, but it has its own unique flavor and zest.
History of the city
Several centuries ago, the first Indian settlements appeared on the territory of Wichita. The main occupations of the Wichita Indians were hunting, gathering and fishing. The Europeans who arrived here immediately chose the uninhabited lands, and after a while they were already actively trading with the locals. In 1870, thanks to a group of American entrepreneurs, the first cornerstone was laid in the foundation of the city of Wichita, named after a local tribe. From the northern outskirts of the country to its eastern borders, the Chisholm Road was built, necessary for cattle driving. Thanks to the new road, trade and the economy of the city were actively developed. The population density gradually increased. The city grew and prospered. The 20th century was marked for Wichita by a period of development of aviation. K 19In the 1930s, several aircraft factories were already located within the city. Today, the Wichita area hosts branches of such major aviation companies as Boeing and Airbus.
Wichita Landmarks
College Hill Area
College Hill is home to the largest number of historic Wichita attractions. Here is a wonderful Art Gallery, which opened in 1915. Within its walls are collected unique works of world art stars. Among them are works by Robert Henri, Maurice Prendergast and Mary Cassatt. Today, dozens of art exhibitions and vernissages are organized annually in the museum building. Also, tourists can visit the railway museum, visit the historical museum or go to an old farm. Walking along the winding streets of the “old town”, tourists can admire the architectural masterpieces of the Victorian era and admire the neo-Gothic buildings. College Hill is imbued with an atmosphere of peace and quiet, life here flows leisurely.
Riverside
Riverside is one of the most beautiful places in the city along the banks of the Arkansas River. It is located in the middle of a huge natural park. Tourists are equipped with modern bicycle and pedestrian paths, cozy gazebos, several sports and playgrounds. The park is decorated with green, neatly trimmed lawns, bright multi-colored flower beds, beautiful greenhouses, sparkling fountains, small picturesque ponds. Riverside is a place where a person can relax both in body and soul, be alone with nature, enjoy peace and quiet.
Intrust Bank Arena
Ice hockey fans are encouraged to visit the Intrust Bank Arena. This is a huge indoor structure that can accommodate up to 15 thousand people. In addition to hockey matches, the arena hosts a variety of sports and festive events every year. Nearby are numerous shops, cafes, snack bars and souvenir stalls.
City Zoo
City Zoo is the best place for a family holiday. About 2500 animals live here. Among them are elephants, bison, monkeys, leopards, zebras and other animals. The territory of the zoo consists of several thematic zones – here there is an African safari, tropical rainforests, and endless tundra. For the youngest guests, there are wonderful playgrounds with sandboxes and slides. Adults will be able to relax in a cozy gazebo at this time.
Wichita State University
Wichita is home to one of the largest universities in Kansas. It provides applicants with a huge selection of educational areas. One building houses several colleges at once. Among them are the Frank Barton School of Business, the College of Engineering, the College of Medicine, the College of Art, the College of Education, and the College of Science and Humanities. Over time, a small “university campus” formed around the building. A huge number of students live on its territory. There is a major highway nearby, so getting to the university is not so difficult.
Town Square
In the east of Wichita there is a large shopping center – East Town Square, respectively, West Town Square was built in the west. Inside each shopping center are numerous shops, fashion boutiques, cafes, patisseries and restaurants.
Orpheus Theater
The main decoration of Wichita is the Orpheum Theater – a beautiful seven-story building, made in red and white. Inside there are several large and small concert halls. Currently, wonderful performances are staged within the walls of the theater, magnificent symphony concerts and numerous musical evenings are held, dedicated not only to classics, but also to modern music.
