AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

West Linn KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)

Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

Interactive Kindergarten (5–6 Years)

Kindergarten is a critical year for young learners. Experienced KinderCare teachers will
tap into your child’s natural curiosity to help get them even more prepared for
elementary school. Our engaging lessons make the most of current technology while
offering plenty of hands-on play and exploration.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

International Leadership Academy

My son was 2yrs old when he started! We have had a great experience at ILA. His teachers (Victoria and Malika) were fantastic. Another one of my favorite things about the school is the lunch program, it is affordable and gives the kids such great exposure. The school location is also very unique, backed by a forest with little hiking trails. There was damages to the outside play areas due to the storms a few years back they have made it a mission to revamp the outdoor area and just installed a brand new play structure (french flag colors). ILA does such a good job being involved in the community. We’ve really enjoyed our time at ILA. Thank you for the great year!…

Tenderheart Childcare and Preschool

We love Tenderheart! My son goes here for daycare and it has been the best place for him – he is so happy here and I love that he’s learning so much developmentally. They spend time outdoors, do fun sensory activities, read, have music time, and basically have way more fun than I can provide my sonat home! I also love that they provide meals since making cute daycare meals is not in my mom skill set 🙂
Our friends’ daughter was attending another daycare in Milwaukie and didn’t have a great experience, and transferred to Tenderheart on our recommendation, and they’ve also loved it from day one. Our son is in the infant and toddler house with Ms. Jessie and Mr. Gene, but I’ve heard wonderful things about the preschool with Ms. Angie. It’s so nice that kids can go to tenderheart from infants until they are school age. We love tenderheart and highly recommend it!…

“Now you must fight,” she continued with a burning face. — I used to resist it, but now I remove all objections. You will not be my brother if you save before him.

– I’m not going to do that.

– Good. Go your own way, and let him crawl his own. Pay no more attention to him than to a viper. Archibald, you must start collecting votes at once.

“No,” said Mr. Carlisle. – You’ll see, Cornelia: they will elect me without it.

– Well, my indifferent brother: if you yourself do not condescend to collect votes, they will do it for you. I personally will not spare thousands of pounds of ale for the voters.

“Don’t be in a hurry,” laughed Mr. Carlisle. “Keep a thousand pounds with you, Cornelia. I don’t want to be removed under the pretext of “bribery and corruption”. Here comes Sir John Dawbid, galloping towards us, his face as red as the sun in a mist.

– Probably. He knows too. I’m telling you, Archibald, West-Lynn is literally agitated, and this hasn’t happened to him in a long time.

And Miss Carlisle was absolutely right. The inhabitants of the town were filled with excitement and indignation. People literally rallied around Mr. Carlisle: both townspeople and rural residents.

However, West Lynn had many supporters of the government, and, whatever its inhabitants felt collectively or individually, Sir Francis Levison might have had many votes.

That morning Barbara walked her husband to the park gate. Returning to the house, she met Madame Vin with children. William looked perfectly healthy, as usual in the morning.

“Mom,” Lucy exclaimed, “you look so hot! Cheeks are glowing.

“I am angry,” Barbara replied, smiling at the same time.

— Why are you angry?

– Because the pope has a rival, a second candidate.

— Isn’t he entitled to it? William asked. “Daddy said anyone can do it.

“Anyone but the one who dared to do it,” replied Barbara, whose indignation made her forget her caution. “He is a vile, despicable man, shunned by all decent people. And he had the audacity to stand up to your dad.

— What is his name, mother?

And then Barbara caught on. However, if she did not say the name, they would soon learn it from other people.

This is Sir Francis Levison.

And then the governess cried out: in pain? from horror? from surprise? Perhaps from all these feelings at the same time. Barbara turned to her, but she had already bowed her head, coughing, and brought her handkerchief to her livid face.

– Do you feel bad? Barbara asked sympathetically.

— Oh no, thank you. It’s just… the dust got into my mouth, so I coughed.

Mrs. Carlisle did not say another word, but became thoughtful, for the governess could hardly utter these words in a trembling voice, to match her trembling ashen lips.

“Could she know Francis Levison? thought Barbara. “Did the mention of that name make her so excited?”

Madame Vin was terribly absent-minded during class that day. One of the first to know about everything was Lord Mount Severn. One evening he was sitting in a club, looking through the evening paper, when his eyes fell on the words “Carlisle” and “West Lynn.” Having heard of the probable election of Mr. Carlisle, and wishing him success with all his heart, the earl, of course, read this note.

Then he read it again, and again. He rubbed his eyes, then wiped his spectacles and even pinched himself to make sure he was awake, as he simply couldn’t believe that Sir Francis Levison had run against Mr Carlisle and was now actively recruiting supporters in West Lynn .

– Do you know anything about this shameful news – shameful, regardless of whether it is true or false? he asked one of his close friends.

– Alas, it’s true. I found out about this an hour ago. This Levison must be a pretty sassy guy.

– Insolent! repeated the indignant count, whose whole being revolted against this news. – How do you just talk about it! Yes, he must be hung up like a dog!

He threw down the newspaper, left the club, drove home to fetch his bag, and then with whistles and horns – which, of course, were emitted by the locomotive, not the honorable lord – rushed to West Lynn, taking his son with him. The Earl of Mount Severn had no intention of staying out of this business.

On those warm spring days, Lady Isabel made it a rule to take her children for a walk in the park in the morning after breakfast. They were on the lawn in front of the house on the morning when two gentlemen came up the alley to the house – more precisely, one gentleman and a handsome young man who promised to grow into a gentleman to match the first. Lady Isabelle miraculously did not faint, for she found herself face to face with Lord Mount Severn. The Count, who had stopped to greet the children, raised his hat when he saw an unfamiliar lady.

“Meet my governess, Madame Vin,” said Lucy.

Madame Vin curtsied silently, turning her head away and gasping for breath.

Is your dad at home, Lucy? the Count asked excitedly.

– Yes. I think he is having breakfast. I’m so glad you came!

Lord Mount Severn walked into the house holding William’s hand, who readily offered to “take” him to his dad. Lord Vane leaned towards Lucy and kissed her. It won’t be long, just a few years, and our young lady won’t be so willing to expose her pink lips to him.

– You’ve grown into a big girl, Lucy. Have you forgotten our agreement?

“No,” she laughed.

— And you won’t forget?

“Never,” the girl replied, shaking her head. – You’ll see.

“Lucy will be my wife,” he exclaimed, turning to Madame Vin. We agreed on this and solemnly promised not to violate our agreement. I intend to wait until she grows up. I like her more than anyone in the world.

“I like him too,” said Miss Lucy. “So it’s all the absolute truth.

Lucy was a child, almost a baby, and the young viscount was at an age when such playful oaths are not given much importance, and yet Madame Vin was trembling. She spoke not like Madame Vin, but like a poor mother, the ill-fated Lady Isabelle.

You should never say such things, Lucy. This is impossible.

Lord Vane laughed.

— Why? – he asked.

– Your father and mother will not allow it.

– Father will allow, I know. He loves Lucy. As for my mother, she doesn’t think that I will always and in everything obey her. Take a walk, Lucy: I want to say something to Madame Vin. Carlisle shot this guy? he continued as Lucy ran away. “My father is such an adamant person, especially when he gets angry that, not wanting to defile his lips with this name, not only did he not manage anything when we arrived, but he didn’t allow me either, so my tongue literally itched along the way.” here.

She wanted to say “Which guy?” but the words died on her lips, because she knew exactly who she was talking about.

– I’m talking about this scoundrel Levison. If Carlisle had riddled him with bullets for this, and then beat him until he was dead, he would have received what he deserved, and everyone would have applauded Carlisle. Levison vs Carlisle! If I had been a man a few years ago, he would have taken a bullet in the heart. Listen, he said, lowering his voice. “Did you know Lady Isabelle?”

— Yes… that is, no… knew.

She didn’t know how to answer and could hardly hear her own words.

– You know, she was Lucy’s mother and I loved her. I think I also love Lucy because she is the spitting image of a mother. Where did you meet her? Here?

“I knew her … by hearsay,” whispered Lady Isabelle, her mind agitated with memories.

– Oh, hearsay! So, did Carlisle shoot the bastard, or is he still alive? I swear by Job! To think he’d sneaked into West Lynn again!

“I’m afraid you’d better ask someone else,” she finally said. “I don’t know anything about it.

She turned away, her heart beating wildly, took Lucy’s hand, which ran up to her, and left. Lord Vane ran towards the house.

Now a serious struggle has begun – the collection of votes. Sir Francis Levison, his agent, and another man from London, who turned out to be not a big deal in the government at all, but a bosom friend of our baronet, one Drake, roamed the city like dogs with their tails set on fire, for they knew what reputation they had in the West -Linne. Behind them wandered only a handful of ragged young people, quite worthy of closing this miserable procession. An impressive crowd agitated for Sir Francis’s opponent: the petty nobility, justices of the peace, Lord Mount Severn, finally. Sometimes, walking arm in arm with the earl, Mr. Carlisle walked around the city with them. When groups of rivals were close to each other and were about to meet, the brave Sir Francis retreated to the nearest alley, or even hid behind the fences – in a word, hid wherever he could, for even with all his impudence he did not dare to meet face to face with Mr.
